Hot Springs Hotels in Shanghai, China

Gokurakuyu Hot Springs hotel is a wonderful spa place offering comfortable rooms after recent renovations. The location is close to Pudong airport (15 minutes by taxi) and very close to Disneyland. It has good food services (restaurant, drinks bar), massage, outdoor swimming pool and hot springs. The hot springs are gender separated and have three indoor baths, jet baths, outdoor bath sauna and (brrrr) cold plunge pool. Also body scrubs are offered. I really like the place. Service staff is welcoming and friendly and some speak English. Otherwise translation on phone is used. Prices are very good. I can strongly recommend this place!

Even though the location was a little remote, there are 2 metro stations closeby which you could get to by using a bus that’s just outside the hotel. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. Always replenishing the minibar, tea supply and water( all of which are for free). Breakfast isn’t great but the coffee is amazing. A snack platter upon arrival including drinks. And a gift when checking out. The rooms are clean and spacious and the bathroom, LOVED!. Overall I was very happy with the resort and the service offered.

Anandi lives upto its name in every way possible! ✨✨✨. For booking I was assisted by the very patient Yana.Great customer service from the very moment you arrive, they are all super accommodating. You are welcomed from the entrance to the reception and also sent to your room by the butler! Before heading to the room, they will do the body aura test and have your healthy tea prepared ( to be sent to the room every evening and morning). The butler will also explain the activities you can do for the rest of your stay. eg yoga , peacock watching , mantra session. The hotel also has different centers mainly the spa center where they offer a very very wide range of body massages , you can even get your mani and pedi done. The food was great ( both breakfast and dinner ). Overall the whole stay was ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The location of this hotel is good because it is near to the airport (PVG) about 20mins and the room is so big. Although the spring is the famous facility, it is only service afternoon which means customers should not expect to enjoy the spring at anytime. There is not many mall and tourist spots near to the hotel and it just like countryside of Shanghai which is quiet and far from city. The service officer is nice but some facilities is not enough like charger of cellphone.

Very peaceful property, the onsen was great. However, the corridor were quite rundown. More maintenance is needed. Right opposite factory outlet, really good. Staff was unwilling to provide shuttle service from Disneyland for me as I did not have a local China number. Disappointing

The traffic is a little far but it is worth it👍 The environment is full of Japanese hot spring feeling. As soon as you enter the smart hall, there is a magnetic shoe storage space to create an intermediary space. Then go in and walk through the entrance hall where you can change into a printed casual bathrobe. Then there is a nearly three-foot-high independent space where you can relax, have fun, eat delicious food, read books, daydream, and take a bath. It is very enjoyable. You can also socialize with strangers. Of course, if you want to have your own space, it has everything you need. It’s like a paradise on earth!

There is a separate courtyard where you can take a private bath. The teahouse is really great. The boss is also very generous. He even gave us Songzhong and made tea for us personally. The butler service is also very good and responsive. The surrounding environment and air are also very good. It is a natural forest oxygen bar. Recommended!

They were surprised and answered questions as they came. On the first day, Shanghai was only more than ten degrees. If we wanted a quilt, we gave it to them. If we wanted to turn on the air conditioner for heating, we turned on the air conditioner. We also told us that if we needed to order takeout, the staff would wait... When the weather changed, they should have helped us collect the clothes that were hung out to dry (when we returned to the room at night, the clothes were returned to the room from the balcony, thank you 🙏) 2. Very friendly to children and pets. We brought many children with us (other guests also brought pets), and we were often afraid of disturbing others when traveling, but here we can let them go completely, safe, practical, and natural (only parents who travel with children carefully can understand this feeling) 3. The environment is very good, with an independent small courtyard, an independent restaurant, a book bar, lawn, swimming pool, small animals, etc. open 24 hours a day in the courtyard. The surrounding area is also very quiet. The boss also thoughtfully arranged a moonlit night barbecue and fireworks for children. The barbecue skewers are great! 4. Breakfast is already very rich in B&Bs, with porridge, corn, sweet potatoes, milk, buns, eggs, fruits, pickles, calculated by person, and you can add more if you need it; If you want to be picky, of course there are some small problems that B&Bs may have, such as some small facilities such as hangers are a bit loose, and idle furnishings cannot be bright and new all the time. Guests who choose B&Bs cannot be evaluated by the standards of five-star hotels. Finally, I want to say that I chatted with the staff in my spare time and learned that they have a small number of people and a high work intensity, working day and night shifts (in fact, there are many conscientious people in every industry), and they really love the B&B business! If you have the passion to do a job, you may be able to do what others cannot do in a short time; but if you love a job and do it, what kind of work status can you achieve over a long period of time? You can only feel it if you come here.

The room facilities are quite good, very suitable for bringing family members to stay, more suitable for a family to play, clean and hygienic

As a result, I woke up again not long after I fell asleep, and found that all the lights in the room were on. The lights were very dazzling. I guess it was because the power outage restarted the power, causing all the lights in the room to be on. So I got up and pulled out the room card before I could finally have a good rest. In addition, the sound insulation in the room is extremely poor. The strange shouts of several men next door can be heard clearly... The decoration style of the hotel is also a bit confusing. It seems to be converted from a club. There are no disposable slippers, and the sanitary conditions are also average. The advantage is that the room space is very large, and the ceiling is high enough to make a loft with two floors above and below.
