From Queenstown to Christchurch, I stayed in this old building from 1917, which was renovated by the University of Canterbury. The interior has obvious signs of renovation, and it is quirky and gorgeous, surrounded by art centers. The hotel is small and exquisite, and has a special style. The design and decoration of the room are very beautiful. It is only a 10-minute walk to the mall, which is very convenient.

GGuest UserThis is a very large campsite. We couldn't book other hotels at the foot of Mount Cook, so we had to choose a cabin with 10 people. The experience was unexpectedly good. The campsite was very clean and the beds were very soft. Except for the lack of toiletries, all other supplies were very complete. It is a very good choice to take a nap and go hiking. In addition, if you drive an RV, this is definitely a good campsite. We drove a small car and couldn't camp, but we also experienced the fun of the campsite. The price-performance ratio is very high, and the price does not increase during the peak season.

JJoannalowFound this place at the very last minute, and it exceeded our expectations! My family and I loved this place - good location (walking distance to Lake Tekapo etc.), super friendly staff, sparkly clean units (we stayed at both Unit 4 & 5 - 4 nights stay in total!) and all stated amenities were provided as well! The only thing to be improved was probably the wifi connection at Unit 5 (slightly weak as compared to Unit 4) and the master room door at unit 5 had loud squeaking sounds when you open/close the door. Other than that, it was such a lovely stay at Skyblue Tekapo! I would definitely come back here to stay if I ever go to Lake Tekapo again. Thank you for having us Wince! And thank you to all the housekeeping staff for the great hospitality!

The grounds are well-maintained, clean, and spacious, making it ideal for families, couples, or solo travelers. The facilities are excellent, with modern amenities including clean bathrooms, well-equipped kitchens, and comfortable communal areas. The staff were friendly, helpful, and went out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay. I especially appreciated the relaxed atmosphere and the variety of accommodation options available, from powered sites to cozy cabins. Highly recommend this holiday park for anyone visiting Christchurch

GGuest UserWe were delighted to visit the alpacas, even though we had missed the regular visiting hours. Hamina kindly met us early in the morning, giving us the opportunity to meet and feed these adorable animals. The accommodation offered a cozy, homely feel with warm colors like yellow and orange. Equipped with kitchenette, dish washer, fridge and utensils. Our room faced the garden and alpaca farm, providing a pleasant and tranquil view. We had a restful stay, which prepared us well for the next leg of our journey. CCyndi on the RoadGreat location, right beside the lake. We weren’t aware that toilet, shower and kitchen is all shared. Cabin is super tiny that is hard to do anything else inside. We didn’t sleep that well and it was not convenient that you have to go outside for toilets in the middle of night. The campsite is nice, but with the amount of people and campvan, the utilities seem to be overloaded.

JjhoannaWe booked late, arrived even later but check in was so simple with a code for the digital door lock. A newly built residence, well appointed for families with 4 bedrooms, parking for 2 vehicles, very warm and cosy. Another plus, Two living areas so kids can settle and watch tv or play games in one whilst adults socialise in the main living area. Plenty of heating, plenty of blankets, no-one was cold. Highly recommend!

AAnonymous UserPretty good, with parking available. The self-check-in system is perfect for introverts. You can enjoy stargazing right from the courtyard at night. Although the Church of the Good Shepherd is a bit of a walk (around 1.2km), the hotel's surroundings are also very beautiful.
