The house is on the top of the mountain. It takes a little walk to get to the town, but it is really comfortable. I liked the hotel very much. The most important thing was very clean. Super staff, welcoming, helped with all the necessary information, with tickets, with taxi. Trails on Fitzroy and Torre start next door. The supermarket is not very far, although with the food there is not very much, take into account. The room was comfortable, everything needed to eat, even coffee, tea, sugar, butter, etc. Every day give box with breakfast and put 2 eggs. Excellent apartments.

Although the hotel is not in the town center, the hotel provides a shuttle bus to and from the town center every hour, and the drive is about 15 minutes, not far. The hotel is located on the shores of Lake Argentine, with beautiful scenery and gorgeous sunrise colors! The front desk of the hotel has a service to provide local tourism projects. The lady has a very good attitude and helps our family to arrange the itinerary. The town is not big and has a very breath of life!

The Design Suite Hotel is exactly what it is called. It is a very design and very beautiful hotel. It should be the best view hotel in Calafate to see the Lake of Argentina. Each room has a whole window overlooking the lake. While slowly admiring the beautiful lake view, snow peaks, blue sky and white clouds. The restaurant is very beautiful, the breakfast is rich, the taste is good, the service is very warm, and the English is very good. It is very intimate that you can order a lunch set on the glacier hike, and there are oversized sandwiches, apples, water, chocolate pie, and energy bars, which are very worthwhile. Walk along the lake to the town center in about half an hour, and also pass through the wetland park. There are buses to and from the airport to pick up and drop off, following the bus is equivalent to a day trip to the town! All in all, very good value for money.

Come back from Antarctica to see the glacier. There is a car at the airport to send directly to the hotel, buy a round-trip ticket, cheap, open the hotel after three days, send to the airport, I like this town, roses are everywhere, Argentina Lake is particularly beautiful

It is about 10 minutes away from Main Street and not easy to find the way without a map. However the view from the big balcony of the lobby is very awesome and let everyone relaxing. There is 180 degree view facing the town of El Calafate with nice shading of sunrise and sunset. The staff of front desk is helpful in advising local tour and arranging shuttle bus to airport. The staff of restaurant is nice to explain the menu n Spanish while I can speak in English only.

The wall between rooms is thin, next room people's noice is very loud. The food in hotel's restaurant is bad, breakfast is terrible. Only front desk people are nice, helpful.
