I highly recommend this sea-view apartment hotel. To put it simply, it's a two-bedroom, one-living room setup where you can cook your own meals and do laundry. The facilities are comprehensive, making you feel like you've bought a large sea-view apartment in Sanya. Every time I returned from the beach, it felt like coming home. The kitchen is separate, and the bathroom has instant hot water. Each room has air conditioning. It's super close to the beach, making it very convenient for dining and strolling around, as well as shopping for groceries. There are many delicious restaurants nearby. From the open-air balcony, you get a 270-degree view, with Dadonghai to the left and the city's neon-lit high-rises to the right. The overall soundproofing is good, and I'm very satisfied. The apartment hotel owner is also very welcoming; you can ask him for directions if you're renting a car and exploring the area.

I have mixed feelings about this place. The best part is the location. You are on a main road with many shops, restaurants and bus stops as well as the beach. I also liked the pool despite it being a little too shallow. The view from my balcony was also great.
One problem was cleanliness. Never walk around the room barefoot cause your feet will get dirty. It also looked like the crockery and kitchen utensils were not cleaned before I arrived. As you can see some of the utensils were dusty!
Hot water was another issue. Obviously you need hot water to properly wash your hands and dirty dishes. However I only had hot water in the shower, not in the kitchen nor bathroom sink.
This leads to my next issue which is service. I told the staff about the lack of hot water on the Friday and they said they would fix it at some point during the day while I am out with my friend. I come back at roughly 9pm to find out there is still no hot water. On Saturday morning I remind them to fix it before I go out again, hoping when I return I will have hot water. While I'm at the beach I miss a call from them. Turns out instead of fixing the issue, they want to move me to another room with hot water. When I return from the beach I saw the message and told them I am ready to move to the new room. But they replied saying I was too late and they gave the room to someone else. (If I did take that room, does that mean the other guest would have my room and have to suffer with cold water instead of me?) Instead of taking responsibility for not providing hot water or trying to fix it, the staff tried to blame me and said I can't get hot water cause I was too busy to answer their calls. When I pushed back on that comment their next excuse was that a lack of hot water is a common problem in Hainan? But then they said they would check if there was a free room with hot water the next day (Sunday). However, they never contacted me about that again so I just gave up trying. If they couldn't fix the problem, they could have at least offered me compensation but they didn't. This experience made me feel dismissed and unimportant as a paying guest.
To sum up, I wouldn't stay here again based on my experience. If they were to give me a room with hot water in the shower AND in both sinks, that's great. However, I would still have to deal with dirty floors and cookware + tableware. It's definitely not the worst place I've stayed in but regardless it didn't meet my standards so I still wouldn't stay here if I return to Sanya. Disappointing.

LukasFlyA great room apartment, in a relatively good location, not overcrowded and served by some basic services.
The facilities are a little limited, they advertise sea equipment available, but in reality we asked at the reception and nobody knew what we were talking about.
Also, the pictures show a very nice pool facility just below the building, however it belongs to the Crowne Plaza, and access can be granted only if an additional ~40RMB are paid.
Last, the room has mattresses which are very very very think, and it feels like sleeping on wood, and the kitchen is not usable and equipped with even a plate, fork or knife.
On the other side, personnel is very kind (even if they speak no English at all) and they tried to help any time they could.
Recommended for relatively low-budget traveling, otherwise look for something better, especially beds comfort!

Adjusting my skirt, I was so pleased with this bright and airy room. The ventilation was excellent, with a refreshing sea breeze blowing in. The soundproofing was exceptional; the sound of the waves was perfectly blocked out. The front desk staff greeted us with a smile, making for a great experience.

Anonymous UserBefore I dive into my review, I should preface it by saying that I usually stay at Orange and HUAZHU hotels (like Ji Hotel and Orange Hotel). The W Hotel in Chengdu was the only five-star hotel I've ever experienced. So, if you regularly stay at hotels costing thousands or tens of thousands of yuan a night, my review might not be relevant to you.
For those with OCD or who struggle with choices, if you want to know what the specific views are like or what the rooms actually look like, there are two ways: First, look up a user named 'Sanya Ascott jayson' on Xiaohongshu (Little Red Book). They've posted floor plans for various room types and highlighted the differences between them. Second, simply Google 'Ascott' and you'll find an online 3D virtual tour website.
I stayed for five days, and personally, I felt the bedsheets were much cleaner and less coarse than those at Huazhu hotels, making for a very comfortable sleep. Regarding service, you only get a butler (who can help with urgent requests and delivering items) if you book through Trip.com. Bookings made via Xianyu or other platforms *do not* include butler service!!! (Because you can't leave a negative review, which means there's no threat to the hotel's reputation). Hotels in Sanya really care about their Trip.com ratings! Also, when confirming a package booked via Xianyu at the restaurant, I felt like they knew I'd booked through Xianyu. The staff had to call to confirm for a while, and their expressions seemed a little odd. If you want to book cheaply but still enjoy full service, you can do what I did: book one night through Trip.com and the other nights through Xianyu, making sure to link the bookings. On a side note, as someone from Chongqing, I really wish they had spicy boiled beef slices (水煮肉片) and unlimited steamed buns with condensed milk (金银馒头 style) for breakfast.
Overall, the service is definitely better than at Orange or Ji Hotels. If you need something, it's delivered almost instantly. They automatically clean your room when you're out, and even neatly arrange your belongings. The air conditioning is never turned off; all rooms in five-star hotels, even unoccupied ones, have the AC running, so it's always cool when you return.
Tips: If you think the elevator is fast, it's because there are no 4th, 13th, or 14th floors. We stayed on the 18th floor, which was actually the 15th floor. Room numbers also omit 4 and 13.
During the day, there are many Didi SUV premium cars waiting downstairs to pick up passengers. A family of four won't have trouble getting a ride. The entrance road is shared with Qingneng, Junji, Autograph, and JW Marriott, with JW Marriott at the very end of the road.
Finally, a huge thank you to my butler, Xiao Xu. He was very enthusiastic, had a great attitude, and high emotional intelligence. Communicating with him was very pleasant, making our Sanya trip incredibly comfortable. I highly recommend choosing Xiao Xu!

Our transport got us to the wrong location the first time, but after calling the front desk, the reception lady was very kind to quickly zip over on an electric scooter and brought us to the correct location which was just about 100m away. There were locals staying in the apartment block too, some accommodations were rented out for tourists. Comfortable 2-room private apartment for 4 adults, with 2 rooms and double beds, 1 common shower, wash area and toilet. Kitchenette equipped with refrigerator, microwave, induction cooker, crockery, cutlery and some food preparation tools. Living/dining room had a TV, coffee table, 3-seater sofa, dining table and 4 chairs. Balcony had a washing machine with capsule detergent, drying rack, a couple of outdoor chairs. A nice sea view awaits with views of surrounding apartments. Morning/afternoon sun shone onto the balcony nicely, providing warmth and excellent for drying clothes. Need to request floormat at the shower area, digital lock was hard to open at times, remote for TV wasn't working but reception resolved quickly. You can link up with reception via WeChat for any queries or requests. At ground level there're just 1 or 2 grocery shops and about 3 eateries, but not very lively. About 10mins walk, you can reach a shopping mall/arcade with a very large supermarket and there you can get lots of snacks, drinks and a variety of other day to day items. Lots of eating places at the shopping mall too. Although the apartment is quite out of the way, just call DiDi as its very fast to arrive and took us to many places.

Guest UserThis hotel had a great overall ambiance. The front desk staff were very professional during check-in and provided excellent service, even helping with luggage and pre-cooling the room with AC – really great attention to detail. The room amenities were comprehensive, and the housekeeping was meticulously done. The balcony offered a sea view, and there were plenty of dining options downstairs. A big plus was the free laundry service!

Guest UserWe booked three rooms, all with spacious beds. It was perfect for our large family to stay together. The price was very reasonable, especially considering it's the off-season. The rooms were spotlessly clean. The washing machine and refrigerator in the room were a big plus and very convenient.

My spouse and I had a truly comfortable stay in the family room. It was spacious, clean, and warmly decorated, with complete and practical facilities, making for an excellent living experience. The young lady and gentleman stewards provided enthusiastic and thoughtful service, with a kind and polite attitude. When I couldn't figure out how to use the washing machine, I sent a message and they immediately came to help, responding promptly and efficiently. They were meticulous and attentive throughout our stay, quickly and properly resolving any needs we had, making the entire check-in process easy and stress-free. The value for money is exceptional, and we'll definitely be back next time. Highly recommended!

I have stayed in this place twice. I love this swimming pool. I usually have a good price and it is convenient to travel. I stayed for 2 nights this time, mainly to go to the opposite side of the island of Lizhizhou and Houhai Village.
