Blown away by the bakery downstairs! Not only do they have freshly baked bread, but also delicious and affordable food from the hotel restaurant. I loved how plentiful the hotel shuttle bus and taxis were! 😍 On our first night, we got an upgraded room. While it was bigger, the toilet and shower were combined. Since we were traveling with an elder, I was concerned about the safety of climbing in and out of the bathtub. After speaking with the front desk, they changed us back to our original room type. The next day, the hotel staff even brought our luggage directly to the new room and helped set up the extra bed – I was so grateful! ❤️ The hotel is located in Nakanoshima, which is perfect for a city walk. I'll definitely stay here again next time!!

Facilities: The facilities are comprehensive, with all daily necessities provided in the room, so there's no need to buy extra or bring your own. Each floor has self-service washing machines with both washing and drying functions, which is very convenient. Just prepare one-yen coins, or you can exchange them at the front desk. Hygiene: The hygiene is excellent, very clean overall. If you need your room cleaned, you need to put the cleaning sign on the door before 2 PM; otherwise, it won't be cleaned. Environment: The environment is superb, right in the city center, very close to Shinsaibashi and Umeda commercial districts, just one subway stop away. The subway is the Midosuji Line (red line), and it's about a 700m walk from the hotel. It's also quiet despite being in a bustling area. The hotel surroundings are very peaceful, with a 7-Eleven and a coffee shop right outside, and many restaurants and cafes nearby. Service: The service is great, and the staff are all very nice.

This is my second stay here, mainly because the location is super convenient for transportation and shopping. It's right by Kintetsu Department Store, which is downstairs, and there are all sorts of delicious food options. Getting anywhere from here is a breeze. This time, I booked a room advertised as 24 square meters, but the actual experience was quite poor. It had an outdoor balcony, but the room itself was enclosed, so the balcony basically ate into the usable space, making the room feel very cramped. Plus, it wasn't cleaned properly; there was dust on the nightstand, which is really unacceptable for a five-star hotel. After discussing it with the front desk, they upgraded me to a 31-square-meter room. Their service attitude was still good. My advice for future bookings is to pay close attention to the room type. Also, they really need to improve their housekeeping.

My stay at Hotel Nankai Osaka truly exceeded my expectations! 🥰 The hotel is right next to Namba Station, just a three-minute walk after exiting, which is incredibly convenient whether you're catching a train or heading to Shinsaibashi for shopping. The room was spotlessly clean, and the amenities felt high-quality. With the windows closed at night, I could barely hear any outside noise, so I slept very soundly. The breakfast offered a great variety, and the freshly made ramen and omelets were delicious. The front desk staff were very polite and helpful, always ready to answer questions, and check-in and check-out were quick and efficient. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Osaka.

The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, right across from Daimaru Department Store and Parco Mall, with direct access to the Midosuji subway line downstairs. I especially want to praise the front desk staff. On the night of check-in, my suitcase lock broke, and I couldn't open it. I struggled to communicate using broken English and a translation app, but the front desk lady found a staff member who spoke Chinese to help. A kind gentleman with glasses and big eyes used a tool to open one of the zippers for me, saving me from the embarrassment of not having any clothes to change into in the hot weather. I'm truly grateful to the staff at Hotel Nikko for making my first trip to Japan such a positive experience. The room was also great. Since I wanted to sleep in during the day, I requested that housekeeping be done after 12 PM, and they always cleaned promptly every day. I was so busy every day that I only managed to take one photo of the Osaka Castle view from outside the hotel.

The room was a bit small, I booked a twin room for 2200 a night at the end of May. It was okay though, haha, the location is great, very convenient to get anywhere. It's right next to the station, and there are plenty of places to eat nearby. Hermes is right downstairs. Facilities: Quite new Cleanliness: Decent Ambiance: It's an older building, so a bit dated Service: Very good, I forgot my credit card and didn't have cash, but they still let me check in without a pre-authorization deposit.

First off, I have to praise the location. The front desk is on the 19th floor, right above Kintetsu Department Store, and there's direct access to the subway connection underground, which is incredibly convenient. Being on a high floor, you get panoramic views of Osaka city. The hotel lobby is grand, and it's one of the few hotels in Japan that boasts such spacious common areas. Across the street is the MIO shopping center, and diagonally opposite is Q's Mall, with an Ito-Yokado supermarket and Tokyu Hands at its base. Plus, just down the alley next to the hotel, less than 100 meters past Mont-bell, you'll find Ichiran Ramen and more. My only complaint is that there was a strong, persistent urine smell in the room, oddly enough, the bathroom didn't have it. I initially thought about asking for a room change, but then I found out my friend's room had the same issue, so I gave up. I really hope the hotel addresses this.

The room itself is decent, though it might feel a bit cramped for two people. The location is quite good, right by what I'd call Osaka's 'Suzhou Creek.' There are many art museums nearby. However, if you're a woman walking alone at night, it can feel a bit deserted. If you plan on staying out late, a more central location might be better. I told the front desk I'm a light sleeper, but they still put me right across from the cleaning room, which was really annoying. I was woken up early in the morning by the noise. I've attached the shuttle schedule. I actually found it more convenient to take the bus to the art museum.

Osaka Castle/Kyobashi/Eastern Osaka Osaka|2.82km from city center
The hotel's location is superb. It's a convenient 3-5 minute walk to Osakajokoen JR Station, making it easy to get anywhere. There's an elevator inside the station that goes directly to the exit. After exiting, you walk about a hundred meters along a corridor to another elevator that takes you to ground level. Cross a small bridge and an intersection, and you're at the hotel. This is incredibly convenient if you have large luggage. The hotel is situated on the northeast side of Osaka Castle Park, by a small bridge, so you can easily stroll along the castle moat anytime. Shopping and dining are also very convenient. Cross the overpass from the park's south exit, and you'll find Q's Mall. There are also countless restaurants if you walk to Kyobashi Station (and along the way). For airport transfers, take the JR line to Tennoji, then transfer to the JR Loop Line (red), and it's just six stops to Osakajokoen Station. The hotel's cleanliness and facilities are excellent, especially the soundproofing – it's very quiet. The mattress and pillows are just right, providing a great sleeping environment. The hotel service is highly professional, from the front desk and restaurant to the lobby and concierge. The breakfast is a rich blend of Western and Japanese styles (though the coffee was a bit weak). I stayed for seven nights in total and had a fantastic experience.

Osaka Station/Umeda/Yodoyabashi/Hommachi Osaka|0.52km from city center
Traveling in Japan with kids, I was originally looking for a hotel with convenient transportation. While this one is close to a subway exit, it takes a good 10-15 minute walk underground to actually reach the station platform. The hotel entrance is tucked away in a small alley, easy to miss if you're not paying attention – you have to walk down the small lane right under the big Ryukakusan sign. On the upside, the surrounding area is packed with amazing food, all sorts of delicious options, and there's a huge supermarket under the five major department stores. The 'late-night diner' noodle shop across the street opens at 10 PM, which is great for those returning late. As expected, the room wasn't very big; the triple room seemed to be a standard twin room with an extra bed squeezed in, making it quite cramped. We could barely open one suitcase. A unique feature of the hotel is the hot spring on the 3rd floor. Lots of people were going up and down to use it every day, but since we were out early and back late, we didn't get to experience it.

Location: Situated above Daimaru department store. If you're coming from Kansai Airport via Haruka, it's about a 15-minute walk to the hotel following the JR Osaka signs. The entire route is indoors. It's even closer if you take the JR local train to Osaka Station. After exiting the platform, find the Central South Exit. Walk to the very end where there are stairs going down – *don't go down*. Instead, take the stairs going up on either side. The left side leads to the main entrance of Daimaru, and the hotel entrance is on the right. Take the elevator directly to the 19th-floor reception. There are countless shops in the vicinity, all centered around Osaka Station. To get to Daimaru from the hotel, you must take the elevator down to the first floor. Service: This is a well-established hotel, and the service is excellent. The front desk, restaurant, and floor staff all demonstrate professionalism. Mineral water is provided daily, and the hotel has an ice machine and vending machines. Breakfast is plentiful. Guests can purchase it for 4100 JPY per person. Room: The room size is decent; you can easily open three 24-inch suitcases. It's clean, and the air conditioning works well. Summary: Convenient for shopping and dining, and very easy to get to surrounding areas by JR: Kobe in 30 minutes, Kyoto in 40 minutes, and Nara in 60 minutes. Clean, tidy, and good service – an ideal choice.

We booked a quad room for our family of four, and everyone got a great night's sleep. Shopping at department stores and drugstores was incredibly convenient, and there were plenty of dining options nearby. The picture shows our first meal, which we randomly picked on the 8th floor right below the hotel – it was delicious! The public transport nearby can take you to any attraction you want to visit. Both check-in and check-out were self-service and easy to use. Things to note: 1. Remember to ask the front desk for skincare products. 2. There's a microwave in the corner of the lobby for heating food. 3. For extra trash to be collected, you need to stick a yellow sticker (found behind the door) on the garbage bag. 4. There's no water in the room, but you can get drinking water in the lobby, or buy it daily from FamilyMart downstairs. Oh, and the direct airport bus service is really a big plus! I'm not a travel expert, but following a guide made everything straightforward. I saw mixed reviews for this hotel, but I still wanted to share my genuine experience for others' reference. You can find amenities like shower caps, toothbrushes, razors, face masks, and loofahs at the self-service machine next to the check-in counter on the 2nd floor. The hotel is conveniently located within 100 meters of the Subway K Line, Hankyu KH Line, and Keihan Main Line HK. The Subway M Line is also within 700 meters. There are banks and office buildings nearby, and a 7-Eleven on the ground floor. It's very quiet at night, and during lunchtime, you can see many office workers buying lunch at 7-Eleven.

This hotel popped up as the top result when I searched for hotels in Osaka on Ctrip, and it definitely lived up to its reputation. The location is excellent – not far from the airport express line and several subway stations, plus it's within walking distance to Nihonbashi, Shinsaibashi, and Dotonbori, which is super convenient. The hotel has a good number of rooms, and what's particularly great is that there are many twin rooms with ample space. Each room comes with a microwave, a fridge, and a table. We mostly ate breakfast in our room, buying milk, salads, bread, and rice balls from the nearby 7-Eleven, which was cheap and easy. There's also plenty of space to hang clothes, and they provide a generous supply of hangers – a must-have for washing clothes daily in the summer. On the fifth floor, there's a self-service laundry room, and on the sixth floor, a shared 'kitchenette' where you can do some simple cooking and get water, which was very handy. The rooms also include disposable amenities like toothbrushes and shower caps.

This was the most satisfying room during our trip to Japan. The wet and dry areas were separate, and the hygiene was impeccable. The bathtub was also very comfortable. My child loved the room's decor and facilities. We could see most of Universal Studios Japan from the room. The TV had Phoenix Satellite Television, but I couldn't find any Universal movies. The staff were incredibly friendly. We received a princess-themed toiletries set upon check-in. We stayed for two nights, and the cleaning on the second day was just as thorough as on the first day, which was a huge plus. The hotel restaurants were all delicious. My child didn't want to leave. We would definitely choose to stay here again if we have the chance.

If you're going to Universal Studios Japan, you HAVE to stay here! You can't get any closer to the park. I took the Shinki Bus directly from Sannomiya, Kobe, to the park entrance, and then it was just a short walk to the hotel. You can drop off your luggage first; they have a dedicated luggage storage room. The front desk will give you a card to access it and can even exchange coins for you to use in the lockers. The coins are returned after you retrieve your luggage. The room facilities are complete and comfortable, and the room itself is super spacious! The bathroom and toilet are even separate, which is very convenient! Even though I only stayed one night, I already fell in love with this hotel. Breakfast was also incredibly satisfying, with a huge variety of options, and you can even look out at the park from the window – it was truly delightful.

The location is absolutely fantastic! The airport shuttle bus goes directly to Universal Studios. After getting off, it's just a short walk following the signs. Right outside the hotel's back door, a right turn leads you straight to the subway station 🚇. We booked a triple room. It wasn't huge, but considering it's Japan and in the Universal area, it's probably to be expected. It was a bit snug, which is typical for Japan, but for the price, I felt it offered pretty good value for money. Stepping out of the hotel, you're right in the middle of a commercial center, with everything for eating, drinking, and shopping – a true one-stop shop. It's incredibly convenient for indulging in some retail therapy and delicious food. Here's a little tip for Universal Studios: If you want great photos, try to find one of the staff members. They are excellent photographers and the pictures turn out amazing. We randomly asked an elderly cleaning staff member that day, and it turned out he was a photography pro! Every single shot was fantastic, providing 100% emotional value. On top of that, after taking our photos, he even gave us some Universal stickers, which was incredibly touching!

Stayed for 3 nights, booked 2 nights and decided to extend. Location was prime, no complaints, with donki, takashimaya within a stone throw. Burger kind and lawson at the exit of the building. Glico man poster at the next street. We arrived early from Nara at about 11am and had to store our luggage at the self service room. That was swift. Returned at about 2:30pm and was informed that checkin is at only 3pm and the rooms are not available. If we want an early 30min check-in, we have to join their hotel membership. That is something that took me by surprise. 3 rooms booking but only needed 2 member signup? If the room are not avail, does signing up matter? If the rooms are available, why made us sign up? Nevertheless, i was promised a king size bed by Juliet (from desk) but presented with Queen Bed room - which was exactly what i booked. So why mentioned king bed? Confusing again.

The Imperial Hotel Osaka boasts an excellent location near Sakuranomiya Station, offering stunning river views from its upper floors and even a glimpse of Osaka Castle in the distance. Below, the riverside greenery and small beach create a serene and lovely atmosphere. The hotel has a vintage charm, and while some facilities show their age, it didn't detract from a comfortable stay. The mattress was just right – not too soft, not too firm – and even the single beds were spacious. Room insulation was good, and the shower had strong, hot water, which was very pleasant. However, the lighting was a bit dim, making it slightly inconvenient for getting ready. This visit was specifically to experience the 'Miyake' (a term for the three most prestigious hotels in Japan) level of service, and indeed, this venerable hotel delivered polite and thoughtful service without feeling overbearing. For instance, when checking out, knowing we had plenty of time before our flight and planned to explore Umeda further, they proactively reminded us about their shuttle service to the airport if we were heading there directly. When we said we were going to Umeda, they even asked if we'd like to leave our luggage at the hotel. They also directly helped us with calling a taxi, specifying the destination, and handling our luggage. I truly loved their Japanese staff! However, it seems the hotel has hired some South Asian staff for housekeeping. I noticed some dust on the glass shelf in the bathroom and on the TV cabinet. But these are minor issues, and overall, the cleaning was quite thorough.

The hotel's location is excellent, conveniently accessible from either Nippombashi or Nagahoribashi subway stations. The best option is Exit 10 at Nippombashi Station, which has an elevator – perfect if you have heavy luggage and want to avoid stairs. Dotonbori is right across the street from the hotel, and Shinsaibashi is also very close, making shopping incredibly convenient. You can even walk to Namba Station, though it's a bit further, where you'll find Takashimaya department store, which is great for browsing. The hotel has a hot spring bath, which is popular with Korean guests, and offers unlimited ice cream and Yakult! The front desk staff are warm and polite, and some even speak Chinese. There's a FamilyMart convenience store downstairs, making it super easy to grab snacks. The hotel breakfast is bountiful, and the cleanliness is impeccable. Stayed at Onyado Nono Namba Natural Hot Spring and absolutely loved it. The hotel was exceptionally clean throughout and every staff member we met was kind, helpful and efficient. Service felt warm without being intrusive. I saw quite a few comments online saying the rooms are too small, but honestly I think it depends on which room type you book. We checked the room size before booking and found it very acceptable for Osaka standards — spacious enough to open luggage comfortably and move around without feeling cramped. One of our favourite parts was all the little extras included during the stay — the free late-night noodles every evening were surprisingly good, and the onsen was such a nice way to relax after walking all day. After the bath, there was complimentary ice cream which made the experience even better. Location is another huge plus — directly across from Dotonbori, within walking distance to Kuromon Market, and very convenient for exploring Namba and nearby areas. The whole hotel has a calm Japanese ryokan-style atmosphere while still being modern and comfortable. Would definitely stay again next time in Osaka ❤️

My teenage boys thoroughly enjoyed the onsen, night ramen, ice cream, and massage chairs. The Dormy Inn is very conveniently located—Kitahama Station (Brown Line) is less than a 2-minute walk away, and Yodoyabashi Station is about a 7-minute walk at a normal pace. Convenience stores and restaurants are also within 1–3 minutes’ walk. Aside from the cold winter temperatures, everything was excellent. There was no room cleaning during our 6-night stay; however, fresh towels were replenished daily. This is a quiet district, and if not for the winter chill, we would have gladly explored more of the surroundings on foot.

I recently stayed at Hotel Hanshin Osaka during my trip to Osaka, and overall it was a very satisfying experience, especially for a first-time solo traveler visiting the city. One of the biggest advantages of this hotel is definitely its excellent location. The hotel is conveniently connected to transportation, making it extremely easy to travel to many of Osaka’s famous attractions and shopping areas. Whether I wanted to visit Dotonbori, Umeda, Osaka Castle, or even take day trips to nearby cities, getting around was smooth and stress-free. For someone traveling alone and unfamiliar with Osaka, staying here made the entire trip feel much more comfortable and convenient. Another thing that impressed me was the service provided by the hotel staff. The front desk employees were always polite, professional, and welcoming. They greeted guests with genuine smiles and were very helpful whenever I had questions. Even though there was sometimes a language barrier, they still tried their best to assist me, which made me feel appreciated as a guest. Good hospitality can really affect the overall travel experience, and this hotel certainly delivered in that aspect. The room itself was clean and well-maintained. Although the room size was slightly small, which is quite common in Japan, the facilities inside were surprisingly complete and thoughtfully arranged. Everything I needed was provided, and the layout was efficient enough that I still felt comfortable during my stay. The in-room hot spring bath was also a very enjoyable feature. After spending long hours walking around Osaka every day, being able to relax in the warm bath at night was incredibly refreshing and helped me recover from fatigue. If I had to mention one downside, it would only be the limited room space. However, considering the location, service quality, cleanliness, and facilities, I still think this hotel offers great value overall. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Osaka for the first time, especially solo travelers who want a convenient, comfortable, and reliable place to stay.

I used Osaka as my base for daily trips to surrounding cities, and for that purpose, this hotel was perfect. The bedding and onsen (hot spring) exceeded my expectations. The front desk is on the second floor, and after checking in, you can pick out your pajamas and a suitable pillow from a designated area on the same floor. Another highlight on the second floor is a free lounge bar for guests, offering complimentary drinks and alcohol. Many guests choose to grab a simple dinner from downstairs or on their way back, then enjoy it leisurely at the bar. The hotel's onsen has incredibly generous hours, operating overnight. It's fantastic to be able to soak and relax even after returning to the hotel late at night. I always opt for five-star hotels when I travel, but summer prices were just too high this year. So, I took a friend's recommendation and booked this place instead. 👍 It's about an hour from Kansai Airport, and Exit 13 is the closest to the hotel. The downside is there's no elevator there, so if you have a lot of luggage, I'd suggest Exit 16, which has one. The hotel's service and facilities are excellent. The room was quite spacious by Japanese hotel standards, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable – we slept soundly every night. The location is also fantastic, about a 15-minute walk to Shinsaibashi. We stayed for five nights this time and visited Kobe and Kyoto. The Chuo and Midosuji subway lines right downstairs were super convenient. I have to mention one particular incident. Check-out was at 11 AM, and our flight wasn't until 5 PM on the last day. Thinking we had plenty of time, my child and I went to Nipponbashi that morning. It wasn't until we got there that I remembered check-out was at 11! Luckily, my mother wasn't with us; she was having coffee at a cafe across from the hotel. I immediately contacted her and asked her to rush back to check out. But to our surprise, her Huawei phone couldn't connect to the hotel's Wi-Fi when she got back, and the only Pocket Wi-Fi device was with me! 😵💫 Since the reservation was under my name, the front desk needed to confirm check-out with me personally. But there was a language barrier, and my mom had no internet. She was incredibly flustered at that moment. Just then, a Chinese-speaking staff member appeared. He first calmed her down, telling her not to worry and that he would find a way to contact me, also explaining that the hotel's network was often unstable. He then took out a device and tried to connect her phone to the Wi-Fi in the lobby, but after many attempts, it didn't work. So, he took my mother back to the room and tried many more times until it finally connected, and he was able to reach me... His professionalism and meticulous work attitude deeply touched our entire family. We'd like to express our gratitude once again! I will definitely choose Tokyu Stay Osaka Hommachi again next time I visit Osaka. 👍

Hotel Intergate Osaka Umeda is a high-end hotel offering great value for money and a good level of self-service. [Rose] **Location:** It's close to Osaka Umeda Station, with shuttle buses nearby to the airport, Sannomiya, and other destinations. The heart of the Umeda commercial district is just a 10-minute walk away, and the hotel is surrounded by places like the Hilton and Herbis Plaza. A 7-Eleven and the delicious Komeda's Kitchen for breakfast are both within about a hundred meters. 🍄 **Public Areas:** The hotel is in an independent building with the front desk on the second floor, serviced by 4 elevators. One of them goes directly from the first floor, but during peak times with many guests checking in, you might have to wait. On the 18th floor, there's a gym and a large public bath, popular with Western guests. The self-service laundry room on the same floor has 6 washer-dryer combos, which are easy to use and reasonably priced. Next to the front desk, you can pick up complimentary toiletries, and guests with children can get a special kids' kit. To the left of the front desk is the self-service restaurant, where breakfast costs extra (free for children under 3). At other times, complimentary drinks and snacks are available for hotel guests. To the right of the front desk, the lounge area features large sofas and a floor-to-ceiling bookshelf. Adjacent to this is a separate self-service luggage storage area; if you need to store luggage, it's recommended to do so before 9 AM. There's even a thoughtful luggage scale provided. Each floor also has self-service beverage vending machines, ice makers, and microwaves. [Candy] **Room Facilities:** The rooms have a long, narrow layout, with a compact bathroom. The Wi-Fi signal is excellent. Detailed instructions for using the hotel's facilities are provided in the room and are easy to follow. When the kids get tired in the afternoon, they can easily rest up. It's also convenient to just buy some wagyu or seafood from the Takashimaya supermarket and cook it yourself. This was my first time choosing the two-bedroom, one-living room, two-bathroom layout. It's a bit of a shame that the master bedroom faces the elevated highway, which unfortunately generated quite a bit of vehicle wind noise. If you're sensitive to noise, you might want to avoid the two-bedroom, one-living room, two-bathroom units, or request a higher floor.

Everything is fine exept the thinnest and hardest pillow I've ever seen in my life. A bit old amenities add a touch of true charm to here. They speak a bit English. The only unpleasant point was my communcation about the locker key I couldn't find in the morning. They immediately asked me to pay 7.000 yen as for lost item, not even suggesting to wait for it to be found by staff or guests, as I hadn't left the premises. Of course, the key was found by someone very soon.

The hotel's location is excellent. Get off at M14 station on the Red Line, take exit 2 from the subway, and walk past the convenience store for another five minutes, and you'll be there. Remember to return your key to the front desk when you leave the hotel and ask for it back when you return. Toothbrushes, toothpaste, and other amenities are in the basket in the lobby for you to pick up yourself. The hotel room isn't huge, but it's clean and tidy, the towels are fluffy, and the air conditioning works great. The only downside was a dripping sound in the bathroom of my room, 703.

Cons: The room was a bit small. Pros: They have hot springs, and they're quite good. The breakfast was also decent; I just wish the hours were a little longer. The transportation is fairly convenient, with the subway station a few hundred meters away. There's a convenience store downstairs, which is great for picking up essentials.

The room was good. Although small, it was enough for a family of three. I booked a twin room, but it didn't have a bathtub. The hotel switched me to a room with a tub. The bed was smaller, but still comfortable enough to sleep in. After soaking in the hot spring every day, there were free ice cream sticks to enjoy to your heart's content, and Yakult in the morning. For this alone, it deserves a full 5 stars. The only downside was that the hotel had too many tour groups, all Koreans, and their etiquette was quite poor. In the hot spring area, I saw an elderly Korean woman scrubbing dirt off herself in the pool, and some people spitting... My goodness! 🤦‍♀️

I asked for a room with one bed, but there were actually two, which surprised me! I returned to the front desk with my heavy luggage and when I checked, they said, ”The room has been changed.” They should have told me in advance and gotten my approval. I had no choice but to register the 100 yen tax fee at the designated machine. The machine asked me if I wanted to pay by credit card or cash, so I pressed the cash button. However, there was no reaction. I wondered if I could just insert the money without having to press it, and when I did, it came back. In conclusion, credit card is the only option!

This hotel absolutely exceeded my expectations; it's almost on par with a five-star hotel. I've stayed in many capsule hotels, and this one is the best. The large public bath has everything you could possibly need, they even provide swim trunks! Razors, toothbrushes, hand towels, bath towels, pumice stones, exfoliating mitts, and multiple types of facial cleansers – they have it all. Can you believe there's even an open-air bath? They also offer massages, but those are extra. And seriously, they even have a blood pressure monitor! After showering, you can grab a drink and some noodles, which can be charged directly to your room. The luggage area has a huge packing table, with space underneath for oversized luggage (I didn't use it so I don't know if there's a charge). The lounge area has sofas for watching TV, and even a smoking section – it's incredibly convenient! Right outside the hotel is Umeda Higashidori Street, where bunny girls invite you to all-you-can-drink deals, and there are all sorts of food options around. The capsule itself is quite spacious, and the bedding is incredibly clean – I mean five-star hotel quality clean. I don't understand why the rating is low; for me, the only 'downside' is that there are too many amenities and services to explore before I had to check out. For a capsule hotel, the service is almost too much! One final friendly tip: you'll still need to buy your own toothpaste...

It's a very good hotel. The owner is very warm and friendly. The location is very convenient. The most important thing is that it is not easy to find this price in Osaka. I will consider staying here next time I go there.

It's a great hotel, location is in the business district so a little bit further from central Osaka (Dotonbori etc) if that's where you'd prefer to be. The onsen is great, as long as you follow the rules it's really relaxing and the amenities are fabulous. Room was great, a really good size for Japanese standards, complete with complimentary waters everyday. It's quite a dark hotel so if that's not your vibe then I wouldn't stay here but we really enjoyed it.

Right next to Shin-Imamiya subway station, so getting around is incredibly convenient. The front desk staff rotate, with two people on duty at a time, including locals, Chinese, Koreans, and Indians. There's a women's shower on the 4th floor, men's showers on the 6th, and a men's bathhouse and microwave on the 10th. Downstairs, there are convenience stores, pharmacies, and places to eat nearby. The room was super small, but quite clean, and they provided towels and plastic slippers. Because it's close to the train tracks, there's a bit of noise. Plus, there's some noise from motorbikes speeding by. I stayed for 3 days, and there was hardly any noise from other guests.

Overall, it was clean and the location was great. However, the musty smell from the bathroom was really bothersome, even after changing rooms. It wasn't coming from the room itself, just the bathroom... ㅠㅠ The YouTube connectivity was definitely the best part! 👍

The main advantage of Sotetsu Hotels is the price. The facilities are very complete, with basic cosmetics like makeup remover and moisturizer available for self-service, and there's also a microwave. The room is indeed small, you can't fully open a 28-inch suitcase, but it's not too cramped for one person, and the space is quite well-arranged. For some reason, it was a bit noisy at night, so if you're a light sleeper, you might want to reconsider.

For my recent trip to Osaka and Kyoto, I booked my Osaka accommodation through Trip.com. Unfortunately, I missed my flight and didn't arrive in Osaka until after 10 PM. I took a taxi directly from Osaka Station to what I thought was my hotel, only to find out that the address listed on Trip.com for this Ibis hotel was completely wrong. It was for a different Ibis in Osaka! After getting out of the taxi, the front desk informed us that our actual hotel was another 5-minute walk away. I was speechless. I had to drag my tired body further to find the correct hotel address. By the time I finally checked in, it was past 1 AM. I sincerely hope this issue can be improved to avoid causing trouble for future guests. On a positive note, the front desk staff were friendly and polite. While the room was small, it had all the necessary amenities.

This is my second stay here, and the location is excellent. Shinsaibashi subway station is just a few minutes' walk away, and you can also use the underground passage which has plenty of shops and restaurants, including Starbucks and Muji, for browsing and shopping. The room is small but clean and tidy. The lobby offers a simple breakfast with freshly made onigiri, bread, salad, and yogurt, and you can take it back to your room. There's also a microwave and oven in the lobby for heating food. Plus, there are free snacks, drinks, and even alcohol available at various times throughout the day.

Had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The location was very convenient, just a 5-minute walk from Shin-Osaka Metro Station. Washing machines (coin-operated) and an ice machine are available in the common area. A coffee machine is also available in the lobby, and water dispensers are provided on each floor. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help whenever needed. The check-in and check-out processes were smooth and efficient. I also appreciated the hotel facilities and the overall atmosphere, which felt welcoming and peaceful. I would definitely consider staying here again in the future. Highly recommended for both leisure and business travellers.

I like the dinosaur reception concept. As for the room, well I think the size is typically the same around the area with this price range. The only downside I am not comfortable was the WC and bathroom are separated.

The hotel is located in a very convenient location just few roads away from Shinsaibashisuji shopping street. The breakfast at the hotel is outstanding and the menu has slight changes from day to day so the variety is good. The rooms were quiet and clean. There is an escalator leading up to the hotel front counter, however, it is one way only which means that when we go down, we had to use the lift and walk down some steps. The breakfast area may get crowded at certain timings as seats are limited but generally the seats clear quite fast. The hotel staff was also helpful and we were given a welcome drink upon check in. We decided to have lunch at the hotel cafe which was affordable and yummy. We had a pleasant good stay at Arrow Hotel.

Tips Filipino Travelers Must Know About Osaka Transport

  • Use an ICOCA card if you do not want to buy a ticket for every journey.
  • Download Google Maps or Japan Travel by NAVITIME before your trip.
  • Get a Japan eSIM so you can check routes, platforms and service delays.
  • Check whether the station belongs to Osaka Metro, JR or a private railway.
  • Avoid weekday rush hours, especially around 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM and 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM.
  • Check the last train before staying out late. Most lines stop around midnight.
  • Look at the train type. Local, Rapid, Limited Express and Shinkansen services may have different stops and ticket requirements.
  • Follow the correct station exit number.
  • Let passengers leave the train before entering.
  • Keep phone calls quiet and avoid blocking doors with luggage.
  • Keep some Japanese yen because physical IC card purchases and reloads may require cash.
  • When taking the JR Kansai Airport Rapid from Osaka to KIX, check the carriage signs because the train may separate at Hineno.
  • Remember that Osaka Station and Umeda are in the same general area but use different station names.
  • Namba also has separate Osaka Metro, Nankai, Kintetsu, Hanshin and JR stations.
