The hotel is super close to Laotong's World, just a 10-minute walk away. A taxi would only be about 1300 yen. The best part is that it's literally just across the road from the subway exit, maybe a hundred meters. We had two large and two small suitcases, and getting from the station across the street to the hotel was incredibly smooth. The hotel's hot spring is excellent, definitely on par with Chinese hot springs that charge 400-500 RMB per person. The main thing is that after a tiring day at the amusement park, feeling completely exhausted, a good soak in the bath was just heavenly!

This hotel is the closest to Universal Studios, just a few minutes' walk to the ticket gates, and offers full views of Universal Studios from the rooms. It's incredibly convenient to get to: you can take the subway from the airport, transfer once, and the hotel is just tens of meters from the exit. For Japan, the rooms are quite spacious, and the bathroom is sparkling clean with a separate wet and dry area. The lobby is luxuriously decorated with some futuristic, high-tech elements. Right outside the hotel is the Universal Citywalk, packed with eateries and Universal-themed shops. The food on Citywalk is all pretty good; the Gekko-ryu takoyaki is better than the other place, and the fried wagyu was also delicious. The subway from the airport gets you right to the hotel's doorstep with just one transfer, making transportation extremely convenient.

So close to Universal Studios, super convenient! There's a convenience store nearby, and the breakfast spread is great. Overall, a fantastic experience. If you're planning a trip to Universal Studios Japan (USJ), I highly recommend staying here. It's only a five-minute walk from the park, which is super convenient whether you want to be there right at opening or stay until closing. It saves a lot of time and energy, and you can even pop back to the hotel for a break during the day. There's a McDonald's right next to the hotel, along with plenty of other food options, so it's generally very convenient. We booked a quadruple room, which was a corner unit, and it was incredibly spacious – a rare find in Japan! Honestly, my only complaint is the price. The hygiene was good; everything was very clean, and the bathroom amenities were excellent. We communicated with the hotel in advance, and they gave us the highest floor for this room type, which we were very happy with overall. My only slight dissatisfactions were the carpeted floors, which always make me feel like they're harboring dirt, and the bathroom not having a wet/dry separation, which was a bit of a letdown. It was over 2200 for one night during the National Day holiday, so it might be a better value during off-peak times.

If you're visiting Universal Studios, Universal Tower Hotel is the top choice. No need to wake up early or worry about getting back late, the location is absolutely fantastic. There are tons of convenience stores downstairs, and all sorts of shops, including dining, entertainment, and cultural and creative outlets – you name it. The room types are very family-friendly, and there's even a handsome guy from Hong Kong at the front desk who speaks Chinese! The hotel is really close to Universal Studios, about a 10-minute walk. Each floor seems to have vending machines for drinks, a microwave for heating food, and an ice machine. The only downside is that they don't provide bottled water, so you have to buy it at the Lawson downstairs. The Lawson is always super crowded, with lines starting at 20 minutes, so remember to buy everything you need at once. We got a room with a sea view, and the night view was pretty good. The bathroom has a separate wet and dry area, and the bathtub was very clean. Just like in Maruko's house, there's a little stool to sit on while showering, and you can even pour water on yourself, haha.

I stayed at Oriental Hotel Universal City and had a comfortable overall experience. The location is definitely the highlight—just steps away from Universal Studios Japan and surrounded by plenty of restaurants and shops, which made everything very convenient. The room was clean, spacious compared to typical city hotels, and the beds were comfortable. The décor felt a bit dated in some areas, but everything functioned well. Staff were friendly and helpful, and check-in was smooth. Overall, it’s a solid choice if you’re visiting USJ and want convenience and comfort without needing anything too fancy. I would stay here again for a future park visit.

Location: Next to Bentencho station so easy access to Osaka loop line and Chuo Line for Subway and Rail. Really good location even though it's not central Osaka. The advantage is that you can still get everywhere within 10-20mins and the surrounding area is clean and safe and quiet. There is a 7-11 next door and a commercial gym (charged at 1650 per day) Negatives are there is not much to do in the evenings. But this leads to the quietness of the area and is an advantage Hotel Room: We stayed in double room and it was large. Nice comfortable bed with good pillows. The AC was modern and good and did not make noise even while we were asleep. The room is cleaned daily (tidy and new towels) with new sheets every 3 days. Shower gel, shampoo and conditioner provided. The room was also very clean. The bed has USB and chargers on either side of it. There is space to hang clothes But the room is really nice. We always were glad to come back to a very clean and tidy place. The TV has English menus but we never watched anything. Negatives are the fridge could be colder and the bathroom sink has a tiny slope on it so you cannot place product on the sink but you have a shelf above the sink for this. Very slight negatives for what is a great place to stay Hotel features: Excellent. Great laundry room with several washers & dryers. Trouser presses, vending machine and ice machine. A rooftop terrace with good views. The breakfast is free and is underwhelming, just different bread and pastries with choices of juice, soups, water and yogurt. It's acceptable and I guess it's free. The hotel lobby has little items you can take if needed, such as hair bands, toothbrushes, razor kits but something nice was that they give you bath bombs for free too. Different ones each day. Staff: Very friendly and helpful, even after midnight when I made requests they were very fast and helpful Overview: 100% would stay here again. The price-to-quality ratio and the large room size make this an easy choice. Do not worry about location, I stayed it Dontonburi area before and alothgh its close to everything, its loud, dirty and feels unsafe. But the location of Porta Inn is really good and super easy to get to central areas (around 10-20mins) and easy to get to the airport (direct line) and easy to get to Universal Studios too.

The environment is particularly beautiful, the room is relatively large, take the children, you can play in the small pool, it is still very good. There are many mosquitoes. Remember to turn on the electric mosquito coil. There is a match in the room, but we found out when we checked out that we were harassed by mosquitoes for a night. It is recommended that you plan to die at the same time at Bo and Universal Studios, or Osaka Port, Ocean Park can choose to live here for one night, which is more suitable. Not suitable for shopping, because there are no large shopping plazas around. Because there are no restaurants around the hotel, dinner is solved in the restaurant in the hotel. The price is not too expensive and the taste is very good. It is mainly pizza, pasta, steak, soup curry, fried chicken or fish steak chips. There are many kinds of wine to choose from.

I stayed at this hotel while I was going to the Osaka Expo. It's about a 5-10 minute walk from the station. It's a comfortable distance. There's a convenience store and supermarket nearby, so it's convenient. The room is compact, but it's very practical, with a sofa, table, and refrigerator. It's well-organized. The hotel and the room were very clean and tidy. The pajamas were also nice. The amenities were well-equipped, and the shampoo smelled soothing with a lemongrass scent that women would love. There are no towels for washing your body, so please bring your own. The staff were all young, which made a good impression. They were all very polite and helpful. The coin laundry on the second floor is also convenient. I'll definitely use this hotel again when I come back to Osaka. I was traveling alone, so I was more than satisfied. It might be a little cramped for two people. This is my favorite hotel.

Osaka Bay Osaka|0.51km from Universal Studios Japan

The room was quite spacious, and I especially loved the bathroom – very clean and comfortable. The soundproofing was excellent too. If I get the chance to visit again, I'll definitely stay here!

The experience was just as amazing as Universal Studios itself, offering incredible value.
