Osaka Metro Map

Looking at the Osaka Metro map for the first time, I honestly felt a bit lost. So many colorful lines going in different directions, and the station names were not easy to remember at all. If it’s your first time in Osaka, that feeling is totally normal. But after using it once or twice, it starts to make sense. You’ll realize it’s actually simple to follow, and getting around the city becomes smooth and stress free.

❤️Pro Tip: When planning your visit, consider booking flights from Manila to Osaka and Osaka hotels in advance to secure the best rates.

Overview of Osaka Metro Lines

The Osaka Metro system is the main way to get around the city, and yes, the map can look confusing at first. I remember opening it and thinking everything looks the same. But after using it for a day, it actually becomes very easy to follow. Each line has a color and a letter, so even if you cannot read Japanese, you can still move around without stress.

  • Every station has a letter and number like M20 or C18

Highly recommend this hotel for families traveling with children to Osaka. They have a shuttle bus directly to Osaka Station, making shopping a breeze and eliminating the need to plan your transportation. There's also a shuttle to Universal Studios Japan (USJ), which you need to book in advance, just be sure to be on time. For the return trip, you'll need to make your own way back, but the subway is very convenient. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Osaka. Highly, highly recommend!

🌟 **Stunning High-Altitude Views, Osaka's Nightscape at Your Fingertips** The biggest selling point of this hotel is undoubtedly its high-rise location! All guest rooms are situated on the 16th floor and above. We were on a high floor, and through the room's enormous windows, the entire cityscape of Osaka unfolded beneath us. At night, the traffic lights on Midosuji Avenue looked like a golden river, and the distant Umeda Sky Building and Namba's high-rises glittered with lights. This feeling of being surrounded by the entire city was truly dreamy; I couldn't stop taking photos. 🚇 **Excellent and Convenient Location** The hotel is located on Osaka's main thoroughfare, Midosuji Avenue. While in a bustling area, it offers a peaceful retreat. Transportation is incredibly convenient; it's just a 3-5 minute walk from Yodoyabashi Station (Exit 13). Whether you're heading to Shin-Osaka for the Shinkansen or going shopping in Umeda or Shinsaibashi, it's only one subway stop away, or even walkable. * **Shopper's Paradise:** Walk or take one subway stop to Shinsaibashi-suji Shopping Street and Umeda Hankyu Department Store. * **Daily Conveniences:** Downstairs, there's a convenience store (7-Eleven), a drug store, and many local ramen shops and izakayas, so late-night dining is never a problem. 🛏️ **High-Quality Accommodation Facilities** The hotel's interior design is a modern, minimalist business style, very chic. The lobby is on the 15th floor, serving as both a reception area and a sky lounge with expansive views. * **Room Amenities:** For its class in Japan, this hotel offers surprisingly spacious rooms. There's plenty of space to open up suitcases. The attention to detail is excellent; in addition to standard toiletries, they even thoughtfully provide a hair straightener/curler, which is a lifesaver for women! The bedding is soft and comfortable, and the shower pressure is strong enough to wash away a day's fatigue. * **Executive Lounge:** If your budget allows, I highly recommend booking an executive floor room. The private lounge on the top floor offers unparalleled views. The afternoon tea desserts and happy hour cocktails are of high quality. Watching the sunset here while waiting for the night view creates an incredibly atmospheric experience.

This hotel offers a truly great overall experience. The room was clean and tidy, with excellent hygiene, making for a very comfortable stay. The hotel environment is also very pleasant, with a comfortable atmosphere – not noisy at all, which allowed for a great rest. The staff were very enthusiastic, always ready to answer questions, and responded quickly. Both check-in and check-out were smooth. The breakfast had a wide variety, including a live noodle station and many local specialties, and everything tasted great. I stayed for several nights and had a very good overall experience. It's definitely worth recommending!

When we visit Osaka, we often choose the Swissôtel Nankai. It's a bit pricey, but you're paying for unparalleled convenience – everything from transport to shopping and dining is right at your doorstep. The front desk staff arranged for a room with an amazing view. The floor attendants were attentive and thoughtful. When it rained, the bell staff didn't hesitate to lend us an umbrella. The Teppanyaki restaurant on the 10th floor was absolutely fantastic. The only minor downside was that the shower water pressure was low and it wasn't hot enough; I think it might need some maintenance. Despite that, it will likely still be our top choice for our next trip to Osaka. We hope it continues to improve!

Although Hotel Nikko is an older establishment, it's incredibly well-maintained. **Facilities:** Excellent! The shower, toilet, refrigerator, and kettle are all high-quality and fully equipped. **Cleanliness:** I felt completely at ease and comfortable using everything. **Location:** Situated right in the heart of Shinsaibashi, with direct access to Shinsaibashi Station from the basement, making it super convenient for exploring the area. Plus, getting to the airport is a breeze: just a leisurely stroll through the Shinsaibashi shopping street to Namba Station, then take the Nankai Express directly to Kansai Airport. Couldn't be easier! **Service:** Top-notch Japanese service. The hotel provides a comprehensive range of amenities, so you barely need to bring your own, and the brands are quite good. Breakfast offers both Japanese and Western options, both of which are delicious.

Staying at Zentis Osaka was a truly unique experience, like living inside a work of art. Designer Tara Bernerd masterfully blends the subtlety of Japanese culture, the elegance of old money British style, and Nordic minimalism into every corner of the hotel. Each room has a slightly different design, embodying the hotel's 'Art-in-Residence' concept. From the calligraphy on the walls to the cups you drink from, everything is crafted by Japanese artists, while the furniture is sourced from renowned Nordic designers. Every moment of your stay is spent experiencing and utilizing art, providing a subtle, enriching nourishment for both body and soul, truly reflecting the hotel's name: Zentis. I highly recommend the hotel's breakfast. The Michelin-starred chef has curated a menu that includes Western, Japanese, and vegetarian options, along with a small self-service buffet. The hotel is situated in the most vibrant part of Umeda. Just outside, a row of understated buildings hides many famous Japanese restaurants, most of which require reservations. You'll also find McDonald's and convenience stores just around the corner. It's only a five-minute walk to Central Island Park, and during my visit, the rose garden was in full bloom, which was definitely a bonus. The service throughout my stay was impeccable. 'Make yourself at home' isn't just a slogan here; they truly live up to it.

This is a really great hotel! It's surrounded by convenience stores, restaurants, and two metro stations, yet it's surprisingly quiet, and the soundproofing is excellent. The room was very clean too. I saw online that it was renovated in 2023. We booked a triple room for our family of three, and it was a bit snug, but that's a minor point considering all the good things. We could still open our 28-inch suitcase in the hallway right outside the door. Downstairs, there are even manga comics to read – even though I can't understand Japanese, it's still a nice touch. They even have Kagura Hachi! It’s fantastic. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Osaka.

The hotel is super close to the subway station, right at the exit. The room was generally clean, and both comfort and quietness were good. It's a bit of a walk from the JR station, about 15 minutes. Breakfast was quite expensive, so I didn't eat at the hotel; there's a Matsuya across the street which was a good alternative.

Osaka Station/Umeda/Yodoyabashi/Hommachi Osaka|1.09km from city center
Osaka was the final stop on our Japan trip. 1. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of bustling Shinsaibashi. There's a subway station just a few steps away, making it very convenient to get to Universal Studios. 2. The front desk staff were very friendly and provided service with a smile. They carefully verified our check-in information, which was great, and also offered free luggage storage! 3. The hotel has a small self-service beverage area, but they didn't offer machine-dispensed drinks, only pre-made options like fruit teas and coffee. The taste was generally mediocre, and some were a bit too sweet. 4. The washing and drying facilities in the laundry room are split across two different floors, with two sets of machines on each. However, this wasn't quite enough when it got busy. Also, due to heavy usage, the cleanliness wasn't always promptly addressed, and there was often a lot of lint and residue inside the washing machines; I'd recommend wiping them down thoroughly before use. Paper cups for the ice machine weren't always replenished on time, sometimes requiring a trip to the front desk. Furthermore, the laundry room itself is quite small. It also houses a microwave and the ice machine, and it gets very crowded with more than two people trying to use the facilities simultaneously. I'd suggest opening the main dining area in the evenings for guests to relax or heat food, instead of cramming everything into one small space. 5. The room was quite spacious. With three comfortable beds for three people, we all slept wonderfully!

Highly recommend! First off, the location is fantastic. It's close to the subway, JR, Hankyu, and Hanshin lines, so you can get to surrounding cities and the airport without needing to transfer. Plus, you can choose the most cost-effective routes, saving both time and money. Secondly, for a hotel of this price in Japan, the room size is quite generous. You can easily open a 26-inch suitcase and still have room to move around, which is a big plus. Thirdly, downstairs there's a Lawson convenience store and a pharmacy, along with various small restaurants. Directly across the street is a shopping mall, and you can access the subway and train stations directly from its underground level, which is super convenient in the summer. Finally, I have to mention that the underground shopping mall's pathways are quite complex, so if you're directionally challenged, proceed with caution. Even with Google Maps, you'll still need a good sense of direction.

This is my second time staying at this hotel in Umeda, and check-in was very smooth. The lobby is on the 19th floor, and all the guest rooms are above the 21st floor. Floors 13-16 have dining options at the LUCA department store, which is also a good choice. The hotel offers great views; you can see mountains in the distance, though the window was a bit blurry on a rainy day. Daimaru department store is right on the 1st floor. Umeda has four train stations, and you can take the Midosuji Line (M line) four stops to Shinsaibashi or Namba for 240 yen – great for shopping and dining. On my last day, the HARUKA train took about an hour to the airport. Overall, it's incredibly convenient.

The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the subway station and consists of two buildings: the main building and an annex. The rooms aren't huge, but they're a good size for hotels in the same price range. They offer 24-hour hot water, coffee, drinks, and a microwave for heating food, which is great. Free luggage storage is also available. There's a Chinese-speaking staff member at the front desk, so communication was seamless. Breakfast was decent too. The only downside, if I had to pick one, was the constant stream of tour groups. It's also just a 5-minute walk from the main shopping street in Shinsaibashi.

This hotel has a sustainability concept, means no water bottles or change bedsheets daily. My family is lucky to stay at the 5th floor where there’s easy access to washing machine and water dispenser. The cleanliness of the bedroom: the bed a bit dusty, making my legs itchy. Toilet is small typical Japanese bathrooms. Luggage delivery wise, u need to scan a qrcode and do it ourselves and later pass to the front desk before 10am. Staff service is professional, speak short and sweet. Location wise is quite convenient. Walking distance to kuromon market and 10min walk to shinsaibashi from namba. From namba station to hotel, there’s a long walk so families with old members need to find a cab. Easy to get a cab or uber since hotel is located roadside. For a 4-star hotel with expensive room price, there’s many “self-service” and hygiene issues I don’t think is worth it.

Very easy and personal check in, lovely modern hotel. As far from traditional as it's possible to get but when you're going to universal studios and particularly if you've been used to small japanese hotel rooms and or beds in other cities, it's a welcome refreshment (noting we stayed in the king size room). We didn't take kids and it's clearly a family hotel - adults only were packed off to a separate part of the breakfast area. The breakfast was varied and whilst not my favourite offered a decent enough selection and takeaway coffee if you would like it. It served both japanese and (the local attempt at - as everywhere in Japan) western breakfast. Laundry facilities are the best we've seen so far - circa 12 machines (half wash half dry) but no changer for yen which is a pain (if you eat in universal city, change money at the arcade if you're willing to play a little there). Amazing location for universal studio (which is the only reason you'd be there) and we had lovely views of Nintendo World and Harry Potter from our room. Five minutes walk to the gate. Best thing they do compared to other options is start breakfast at 6am knowing many want to rush to the gate before 715am. Only the standard amenities but a nice moisturiser and the toilet was one of my top 3 (it's Japan, toilet ranking is a real thing) - they spare no expense in the room (although perhaps in the slightly plastic minion wallpapering elsewhere). Would stay again for universal but not for anything else - universal city train station is a bit gnarly as its a spoke off the main osaka loop - should be every 15 mins but out of service or cancelled train and you're stuck waiting 30 minutes. We got back from Dotonbori in 33 minutes so it can be done if you time it right.

One of the best hotel we stayed in Osaka. It's a great location to explore and if you are lucky you can spot some cool cars or motorcycle around the area. Especially near the American mura at night. We love to walk around and explore and came across the Liberty Walk Osaka. We took the ' Darth Vader' looking train from Kansai airport at the Nankai line. We spotted the Dainese shop from the train and went to check it out. They have some Valentino Rossi official merchandise. It's just below the Keihan hotel. The Imperial Hotel Osaka boasts an excellent location near Sakuranomiya Station, offering stunning river views from its upper floors and even a glimpse of Osaka Castle in the distance. Below, the riverside greenery and small beach create a serene and lovely atmosphere. The hotel has a vintage charm, and while some facilities show their age, it didn't detract from a comfortable stay. The mattress was just right – not too soft, not too firm – and even the single beds were spacious. Room insulation was good, and the shower had strong, hot water, which was very pleasant. However, the lighting was a bit dim, making it slightly inconvenient for getting ready. This visit was specifically to experience the 'Miyake' (a term for the three most prestigious hotels in Japan) level of service, and indeed, this venerable hotel delivered polite and thoughtful service without feeling overbearing. For instance, when checking out, knowing we had plenty of time before our flight and planned to explore Umeda further, they proactively reminded us about their shuttle service to the airport if we were heading there directly. When we said we were going to Umeda, they even asked if we'd like to leave our luggage at the hotel. They also directly helped us with calling a taxi, specifying the destination, and handling our luggage. I truly loved their Japanese staff! However, it seems the hotel has hired some South Asian staff for housekeeping. I noticed some dust on the glass shelf in the bathroom and on the TV cabinet. But these are minor issues, and overall, the cleaning was quite thorough.

The hotel's location is excellent, conveniently accessible from either Nippombashi or Nagahoribashi subway stations. Dotonbori is right across the street from the hotel, and Shinsaibashi is also very close, making shopping incredibly convenient. You can even walk to Namba Station, though it's a bit further, where you'll find Takashimaya department store, which is great for browsing. The hotel has a hot spring bath, which is popular with Korean guests, and offers unlimited ice cream and Yakult! The front desk staff are warm and polite, and some even speak Chinese. There's a FamilyMart convenience store downstairs, making it super easy to grab snacks. The hotel breakfast is bountiful, and the cleanliness is impeccable. Convenient walking distance to and from the Sakaisuji-Honmachi Station serving the Chuo Line [C] and Sakaisuji Line [K], makes for an easy thoroughfare to all parts of the city, Umeda, and Universal Studios, too. Great amenities are its upper floor Onsen on the 14th floor, along with the swimming pool and gym facilities for an additional (2 700¥) per visit. Room size is fairly spacious for solo travelers, but opt for beds for two persons or couples. The hotel does not have laundry facilities though the nearest laundromat is about 6-blocks away. Very clean and open 24/24. This hotel has a chapel inside on the second floor for those who are observant travelers (for Christian devotees). There are several other temples and shrines all within distance from the hotel itself. Accommodations are very good from a short stay to a business traveler’s perspective or personal experience within this part of Osaka’s financial districts. Very lovely places for returning visitors.

I stayed at Hotel Monterey La Soeur Osaka and absolutely loved it. The hotel has a beautiful, slightly European Art Deco style and feels elegant from the moment you walk into the lobby. My room was spotless, cozy, and well-equipped, with a comfortable bed and a nice view of the city. Location is excellent – just a short walk to Osaka Business Park and within easy distance of Osaka Castle, so it’s very convenient for both sightseeing and business. The staff were genuinely kind, professional, and attentive. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and they were always ready to help with directions or questions. I also really enjoyed relaxing at the onsen/spa after a long day of walking. Overall, a wonderful stay with great atmosphere, good facilities, and warm Japanese hospitality. I would happily come back here again on my next trip to Osaka. 🌸

Booked two twin rooms for three nights and had a very comfortable stay. There was enough space to open one suitcase fully, and another one halfway without issue. Check-in and check-out at the front desk were both very quick. It's also incredibly close to Universal Studios. Highly recommended!

My teenage boys thoroughly enjoyed the onsen, night ramen, ice cream, and massage chairs. The Dormy Inn is very conveniently located—Kitahama Station (Brown Line) is less than a 2-minute walk away, and Yodoyabashi Station is about a 7-minute walk at a normal pace. Convenience stores and restaurants are also within 1–3 minutes’ walk. Aside from the cold winter temperatures, everything was excellent. There was no room cleaning during our 6-night stay; however, fresh towels were replenished daily. This is a quiet district, and if not for the winter chill, we would have gladly explored more of the surroundings on foot.

Whenever we're in Umeda, the Hanshin Hotel is always our family's top choice. The rooms are spacious, and they even come with a decent-sized entryway. The cleanliness is consistently excellent. Its location is incredibly convenient, with JR and Hanshin lines right outside the hotel. Just two right turns from the hotel entrance, there's a fantastic ramen restaurant with a very noticeable sign. Highly recommended!

I used Osaka as my base for daily trips to surrounding cities, and for that purpose, this hotel was perfect. The bedding and onsen (hot spring) exceeded my expectations. The front desk is on the second floor, and after checking in, you can pick out your pajamas and a suitable pillow from a designated area on the same floor. Another highlight on the second floor is a free lounge bar for guests, offering complimentary drinks and alcohol. Many guests choose to grab a simple dinner from downstairs or on their way back, then enjoy it leisurely at the bar. The hotel's onsen has incredibly generous hours, operating overnight. It's fantastic to be able to soak and relax even after returning to the hotel late at night. There's a subway station and a Family Mart convenience store right below the hotel, making travel and finding food and drinks very convenient. While it's a bit of a walk to Shinsaibashi, the overall value for money is still excellent.

I chose the Royal Park Hotel at Osaka Kitahama Station again this time. The room was spacious and clean. You can find amenities like shower caps, toothbrushes, razors, face masks, and loofahs at the self-service machine next to the check-in counter on the 2nd floor. The hotel is conveniently located within 100 meters of the Subway K Line, Hankyu KH Line, and Keihan Main Line HK. The Subway M Line is also within 700 meters. There are banks and office buildings nearby, and a 7-Eleven on the ground floor. It's very quiet at night, and during lunchtime, you can see many office workers buying lunch at 7-Eleven.

Had an enjoyable stay here at Mercure! Amenities were complete, housekeeping & receptionists were friendly and able to converse in English which made our stay more pleasant. Location of the hotel is sooo convenient. - a 10-min walk from Shinsaibashi/Namba station - has family mart and donki nearby - taxi fare from the hotel to Nankai Namba Station (for the airport) was 1,400 won - all you have to do is cross the main road and you’ll already arrive at Shinsaibashi shopping street! My luggage was also damaged during my flight to Osaka, so the staff politely helped to handle the disposal of my luggage for free. The only thing that slightly bothered me was the superrrr dark lighting in the room. There were times I had to use my phone’s flashlight to find things but it was still bearable for me. Overall, thank you, Mercure :)

The hotel enjoys an excellent location, conveniently situated close to the main shopping street and many of the city’s key attractions, making it ideal for both leisure and business travelers. Public transportation is very accessible, with the metro station just a short walk away. From there, it takes only two stops to reach the JR line that connects directly to the Airport Express, which is extremely convenient for arrivals and departures. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and always ready to assist, creating a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere throughout the stay. The breakfast offers a good variety of options and provides a satisfying start to the day. The hotel amenities are well-maintained and thoughtfully provided, ensuring guests have everything they need. The room itself was clean, well-kept, and comfortable. One of the highlights was the excellent shower facility, which was modern, spacious, and very enjoyable to use after a long day of exploring. Overall, the hotel delivers a high standard of comfort and convenience, and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Exiting from Umeda Station, the West Exit is closer. This is my second time staying here. This room was a bit smaller, and there wasn't much space for two people's luggage, but it was fine for a one-night stopover. In the afternoon, there's a complimentary afternoon tea with rice crackers, juice, bacon, and sparkling wine. In the evening, you can also enjoy ochazuke. The rooftop hot spring is open until 1 AM.

The room is spacious and new. The 1.35-meter bed was very comfortable for one adult and one child, and even with four suitcases, it didn't feel cramped for a family of four. The bathroom is very roomy and well-designed, making it convenient for multiple guests. There's a free shuttle bus to and from Osaka Station from 10 AM to 6 PM, or you can walk there in about 15 minutes. The hotel's own small garden has very relaxed koi fish. Nearby, you can get a panoramic view of Osaka from the Umeda Sky Building, and there's a convenient food street underground.

I originally booked a W Suite and arrived at 12 PM hoping to secure a high-floor room, but was only given the 8th floor. So, I paid more to upgrade to a Marvelous Suite. Honestly, the hardware facilities are excellent, but! If you want to experience differential treatment, this W is the place to be. First, someone else's laundry was mistakenly delivered to our suite. When I told the front desk, they were dismissive, merely saying someone would come to collect it, without even an apology. Later, while we were out, they left two boxes of Pocky biscuits... truly perfunctory. Then, we went to the Living Room on the third floor for drinks, and the server was practically bowing to Caucasian guests, while being very dismissive towards us. Around 10 PM, I called their 24/7 Whatever/Whenever service for an extra duvet, and they told me they had none left. The next day, I ordered room service through the Bonvoy app, and since I couldn't find the order on the web version, I called again to confirm. They said they'd call me back after checking with room service, but the meal arrived and I never got a call back. It felt like they didn't care about their guests at all. Also, the suite's minibar is entirely chargeable, and there are no additional services. It really felt like I paid a hefty price just to rent the room itself. I can't really praise the service from a five-star Marriott-branded hotel. This review is a heads-up for anyone considering booking this hotel. Though I doubt W Osaka will care about my review; they're always fully booked and don't lack customers. Oh, and the front desk concierge who spoke Chinese were all from Taiwan.

The hotel location is great and easy to walk around exploring right in the middle of the city and you will find this gem ramen store open 24/7! The only disappointment was with the butler service or more the non existent butler service. For the price we are paying, I expected much much more from St Regis as I have been accustomed to at other St Regis Hotels. The hotel is beginning to show its age and hence the cleanliness part is coming into question when our rooms were being cleaned, I mean I am again nit picking here but it isn’t up to St Regis usual standards. The gym room is adequate but there isn’t a pool in a 5 star hotel 🙃.

I've stayed at this hotel before, and everything—location, transport, price, facilities, and service—was excellent. But this time, it wasn't good. 1. The staff weren't as enthusiastic as before. 2. The front desk guy said they no longer provide bottled water; you have to get it from a dispenser near the elevator. 3. The cleaning staff just tossed my pajamas on top of my suitcase. 4. There were some stains on the duvet cover... I stored my luggage, and I recall being charged for it previously. This time, when I asked how much to pay, the young lady seemed surprised and told me it's free. Mostly, having my pajamas thrown on my suitcase really annoyed me.

Good location, clean. However, the facilities are quite limited. The hotel does not provide any laundry or washing machine services. We had to bring our clothes to the nearest laundry shop, which is about 10 minutes away. It would be helpful if the hotel could offer a laundry service, or assist guests by sending clothes to a nearby laundry with an additional charge. Otherwise, guests have to wait there for about 50 minutes just for the laundry to be ready.

Everything is fine exept the thinnest and hardest pillow I've ever seen in my life. A bit old amenities add a touch of true charm to here. They speak a bit English. The only unpleasant point was my communcation about the locker key I couldn't find in the morning. They immediately asked me to pay 7.000 yen as for lost item, not even suggesting to wait for it to be found by staff or guests, as I hadn't left the premises. The hotel's location is excellent. Get off at M14 station on the Red Line, take exit 2 from the subway, and walk past the convenience store for another five minutes, and you'll be there. Remember to return your key to the front desk when you leave the hotel and ask for it back when you return. Toothbrushes, toothpaste, and other amenities are in the basket in the lobby for you to pick up yourself. The hotel room isn't huge, but it's clean and tidy, the towels are fluffy, and the air conditioning works great. The only downside was a dripping sound in the bathroom of my room, 703.

## Hygiene and Service: The hotel has a policy that guests must put out a 'clean my room' sign before 10 AM each day for full housekeeping. Otherwise, only towels and trash bags will be replaced. Even with full cleaning, it's just a basic tidying up; linens and pillowcases are not changed. ## Location: It's a bit far from Osaka JR Station, but you can get there directly via bus #88. There's a convenience store downstairs, but not many restaurants in the immediate vicinity. ## Facilities: There's a public bath (which is also open to the public, so it can get very crowded in the evenings). On the first floor, the lobby offers soda, coffee, and an ice machine for guests to use at any time.

It's a great hotel, location is in the business district so a little bit further from central Osaka (Dotonbori etc) if that's where you'd prefer to be. The onsen is great, as long as you follow the rules it's really relaxing and the amenities are fabulous. Right next to Shin-Imamiya subway station, so getting around is incredibly convenient. The front desk staff rotate, with two people on duty at a time, including locals, Chinese, Koreans, and Indians. There's a women's shower on the 4th floor, men's showers on the 6th, and a men's bathhouse and microwave on the 10th. Downstairs, there are convenience stores, pharmacies, and places to eat nearby. The room was super small, but quite clean, and they provided towels and plastic slippers. Because it's close to the train tracks, there's a bit of noise. A three-star hotel with an interestingly decorated lobby - there are automatons-”dinosaurs” installed there. In fact, they are there so that guests, with their ”help”, do self-check-in. There are very few employees in the hotel, you need to wait a long time until a ”human employee” comes to you. The room is small, two-thirds of the room is taken up by the bed. The bed is quite comfortable and large. An important detail! Breakfast in the hotel, although advertised, is actually absent, there is not even a dining room for it. You can only take two strange rice balls per brother in plastic packaging in the lobby. The location of the hotel is convenient. All the sights of Osaka can be easily and quickly reached - either on foot or by public transport.

Pro Rules for a Stress-Free Ride

Tap and Go: Use ICOCA, Suica, or just tap your credit card or phone at the gate to skip ticket machines

Use the Main Line: If you feel lost, go back to the Midosuji Line, it connects major areas like Umeda and Namba

Check the Direction: Always check the last station name like “for Nakamozu” or “for Shin-Osaka” before boarding

Avoid Peak Hours: Best to avoid 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM since trains get very crowded

Wait for the Next Train: Trains arrive every few minutes, so you can skip a packed one

Bag Placement: Carry your backpack in front or keep it close during crowded rides

Use Exit Numbers: Check the exit number before leaving to avoid long walks inside big stations

Prepare Before Exit: Move closer to the door one station before your stop

Stand on the Right: On escalators, stand on the right and walk on the left

Stay Quiet: Keep your phone on silent and avoid calls inside the train

💡 Tip: If you are not sure, just follow the signs or watch what locals do, it’s very easy once you get used to it
