It's a brand new hotel. As one of the first guests, it's the first time I have an entire hotel to myself. The room is super large, surprisingly clean, and the Nanyang-style villa🏠 is surrounded by banana trees, coconut trees🌴, frangipani🌸, and green lawns. No 🦟, only the faint fragrance of plumeria.
🚕About distance
In the northwest corner of Bohol, an independent island 🏝️Pangangan Island. It takes 2 hours to drive from Panglao. However, dear friends, the hotel is right opposite Cabilao🤿, the famous diving spot in Bohol! Crab boat is a 10-minute sea ride! Friends who like diving can definitely stay at H resort and sail to Cabilao🤿. The experience will be much better!
🏵️About Activity
What are you doing living so far away? In fact, it only takes 1 hour to drive to the Chocolate Hills from H Resort, which is about the same as the baby living in Panglao, so the inland tour of the Chocolate Hills ⛰️ Tarsier 🐵 Lobo River Fireflies 🪲 can be arranged.
Cambuhat Oyster Farm🦪 is about a 30-minute drive from the hotel. It is estimated that other hotels are far away, only H is relatively close.
The hotel's submarine and shooting facilities are currently not open for business, but they will probably be arranged soon!
🛝What can you do in the hotel?
Invincible sea view swimming pool🏊, you can see us in the swimming pool outside the glass wooden wall, perfect for checking in and taking pictures!
Arrange a sunset seaside spa! At the seaside pavilion, blowing the sea breeze, listening to the waves🌊, watching🌅, and doing SPA💆, it's so comfortable! The massage after diving 💆♀️ really made me feel tired.
🍴About the restaurant

Overall it was a great experience just a few disappointing things. We checked many places an fir this part of the province it’s as good as it gets folks

Our family vacation at Solea Mactan was nothing short of spectacular. The resort boasts a wide array of fantastic amenities, including pristine beach, multiple swimming pools, and a well-equipped fitness center. The kids were entertained for hours at the aquapark and inflatable pool while the adults enjoyed viee and breakfast. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, adding to the overall positive experience. If you're searching for a memorable family getaway with exceptional amenities, Solea Mactan is the perfect choice!
Very nice and secluded place. If you want a quiet and get away from city vibes, this place is highly recommended. Food is soso. Staff is super kind. Massages are nice, good price. View is amazing! Many swimming pools. Beach right infront. There is also a cave, if you like adventure and not scared of deep dark water, the guide will escort you down. Overall, I had one of the most amazing time there. My friend prefers city modern hotels so she liked it less than me. But, I absolutely enjoyed the remote feeling, felt like we had the whole place to ourselves, other people were there but it really wasn't busy. The staff is very accomodating and I really appreciated their kindness. I will miss Mithi. Will visit again if I go to Bohol again. Highly recommend for couples and families who want quiet get away. Because it is away from city, if you want food you have to get it from their restaurant, which is so so. Also, I loved that they had communal shower and bathroom near the pools which was convenient. You can also get beach towels from there too (as much as you would like)! And the buggie takes you everywhere for free anytime. The buggie comes to your door super fast! I haven't tried it, but you can also do Kayak and snorkeling there too. Cup noodles are recommended, you will want to pack as much as you can. I will miss Mithi! Had such a good time there!
Also, if you wanna do laps in the swimming pool, there is a bigger pool by the spa.
This was one of the finest trips I have ever experienced, and I would eagerly return to the Philippines solely to stay at this resort. While there were some initial issues with bugs, the staff responded promptly and demonstrated exceptional kindness, significantly enhancing my overall satisfaction. However, the problem-solving procedures could benefit from greater professionalism, akin to what is found in high-end hotels. Overall, the experience was truly outstanding.
We stayed at Moalboal Tropics and were very happy with our choice! The hotel has a beautiful, green area full of palm trees and cozy corners. The pool is clean and large, with a fun waterslide for those who like a bit of action. There are also massage chairs — a nice bonus for relaxing after a day of exploring.
Breakfasts are simple, not very varied, but everything is fresh, tasty, and filling — you definitely won’t go hungry. The staff are very polite, always smiling, and ready to help. Everything is clean and comfortable, and the Wi-Fi works well throughout the property.
The hotel is conveniently located: close to the Gaisano Grand shopping mall and the bus stop for trips to Oslob and Cebu City. You can easily get to the sardine run and turtle beach by motorbike or tricycle — it costs around 100–150 pesos.

Very nice hotel, all new and modern. Close to the airport, with good parking. We liked the area with pool and beach was quite good. Definitely good value for money. Also food in the restaurant was delicious and it was worth the price. We would stay again!
Stayed at the hotel for three nights, the hotel is very new, although small but the facilities are very good, facing the beach and the sea (although it is black sand beach). Breakfast is delicious, if you don't have time to eat, you can ask the hotel to prepare a sandwich. I have eaten a few meals at the hotel, but it is more expensive than the outside, but it is recommended. The hotel also has a horse to kill the chicken, but there is no special room. It is made on the beach chair by the pool. The price is more expensive than the outside, but the experience is Not bad. The only bad thing is that the hotel location is cheaper. Come in and take a bad road. We were also found on Google Maps. It would be a bit painful to take the baggage. The hotel is 20 kilometers away from the city, it is more troublesome to go out, you can sit on the yellow bus is very cheap. It is recommended that people who like a quiet holiday come, otherwise it is better to live in the city. The chickens in the house next to the hotel like to call in the middle of the night. If the room is close, it will be a bit noisy.
The place is very clean, room clean too. The staff are very accomodating and very friendly. The breakfast was average, you cant ask for another instant coffee or tea, you are given 1 cup of coffee or tea or juice, your choice. If you love coffee just bring your sachet of coffee from your room to your breakfast so that they will not charge you if you ask another one. Coffee or tea OT juice should be unlimited. Overall it was a good stay, the view from the restaurant is beautiful, on the loboc river.
We had a good stay at this hotel. Rooms are spacious and the bed is fine. The staff are very friendly and helpful. There is plenty to do around the accommodation. This hotel is definitely recommended

WWangshianlushanI had an amazing stay at this hotel! The lush green lawns, palm trees, and sparkling pool created a perfect tropical getaway. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, ideal for unwinding and enjoying nature. The rooms were spotless, comfortable, and equipped with everything I needed for a pleasant stay.
What truly stood out was the exceptional service. The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and professional, always going above and beyond to make my stay memorable. Whether lounging by the pool or exploring the serene surroundings, every moment was delightful.
This hotel is a true retreat from the hustle of daily life. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a relaxing and refreshing escape. I can’t wait to return!
KKackenderFuchsThe Tepanee Resort can actually be recommended:
- simple but clean rooms. Unfortunately, they are a bit noisy and you just have to be lucky with the award. There are bungalows whose terraces are completely on the path with no view - which, in contrast to others, just seems a shame.
- a simple breakfast buffet, which unfortunately is only offered from 8:00 a.m. and is therefore wasted money for active divers who are already on the boat. The Filipino dishes here are often good, but the fruit and vegetables are very carelessly prepared. Even if asked, nothing can be prepared here.
I would be happy to recommend the resort, especially because of the great location, because it is located on a very beautiful and protected bay that is bursting with biodiversity and offers a retreat for young black tip reef sharks.
But here comes the but:
- the price for the rooms is too high
- The bay is controlled by the owner and staff and care is taken to ensure that snorkelers behave well. What sounds good in itself, however, degenerates into the fact that there is often shouting, whistling and megaphone talking across the bay. An absolutely absurd situation in which the owner of the resort apparently doesn't find any solutions to help beginners in snorkeling who are in trouble (e.g. with floating rings that they can use to adjust the mask/the concrete blocks are already on the ground) - but only in a very disgusting way.
There was even shouting back and forth in the bay from snorkelers and owners. Simply unpleasant.
My tip:
Get a cheap hotel and pay the 200php entrance fee to snorkel on site in the bay. The bay is worth it, but the hotel is not worth it.
