The reason why I picked this hotel is because of the location that is right at the center of Jiangmen. Parks, museums, mall surrounding this place as well ad tons of great attractions and restaurants.
Great grand reception and 5 star services and smile from all fellows among the hotel. Lovel!y
Nice indoor swimming, but PLEASE a warmer water would be much more family friendly. Thank you.
Free underground parking with direct path and lift to the lobby, perfect.
Great value pack family hotel. 5 stars recommended.

My reservation was for a super lake view room. However, I was assigned a room on the third floor facing the lake but with blocked views. Had to change room as a result. Staff at front desk explained that because the fourth floor room was not available until an hour later. We had no problem with this. Eventually we got a room with fantastic view of the lake. Have to say that the staff were friendly and helpful.
The hotel is in a convenient location. It is right at the side of the lake and with many eateries within walking distance.
We had wanted to have breakfast on the ground floor restaurant, but it was so packed with people and so noisy that we decided to go somewhere else. This is the only drawback.

Our stay at the New World Hotel Qingyuan truly exceeded expectations, and Concierge Rosie's thoughtful service elevated the entire experience—she deserves a special shout-out!
The hotel's breakfast spread was incredibly diverse, offering everything from Cantonese dim sum, freshly made noodles, and Western dishes to fresh juices and aromatic coffee. The outdoor dining area, surrounded by lush greenery with sunlight streaming in, was particularly delightful. The hotel grounds themselves are stunning; opening the window reveals a sea of green, with flagstone paths winding through flowerbeds and lawns. In the evening, the sunset combined with the pink and purple flowering trees created picturesque, soothing scenes perfect for photos. Facilities like the hot springs, swimming pool, and mini-golf were all excellent, catering to both relaxation and active fun.
However, Rosie, our concierge, was the real highlight! From pre-arrival communication to guiding us upon arrival and responding to our various needs throughout our stay, her service was consistently swift and attentive. She proactively recommended local activities, helped coordinate meal times, and even noticed our preference for a quiet corner, specially arranging a suitable table. Her attention to detail was truly touching.
We were completely charmed by both the hotel's environment and Rosie's service. The value for money is outstanding. I've already recommended it to friends, and we'll definitely choose to stay here again on our next visit!

I originally booked for one day to see how the stay experience was. If it was not good, I was going to change it. Now there are so many hotels, so I renewed the reservation on the day of check-in. The environment was great, and the attentive service of the housekeeper Laura made me decide to continue living here. It was a great experience, which added points to the vacation. I dug a lot of small crabs on the beach opposite the hotel

The hotel's location is perfect, right next to Gongbei Port and Zhuhai High-Speed Rail Station, within walking distance to various transportation hubs. It's incredibly convenient for getting around, and there's a constant flow of people. Dining and shopping are also just a short walk away. The front desk is on the fifth floor. The entire hotel's style and details evoke a classic Hong Kong and Macau 'old money' aesthetic. The hotel's room service staff are very polite. One day, I noticed a cigarette smoke smell drifting into the bathroom from the adjacent room, which meant I had to keep the exhaust fan running continuously.

This was my first time staying at an UrCove by Hyatt hotel. The manager, LY, was young, energetic, and very friendly. The room was clean and tidy, and they offered complimentary late-night snacks. The best part was the free self-service laundry and dryer – it was perfect for washing some clothes during our Christmas trip with friends. The breakfast had a great variety, offering both Western and Chinese buffet options with a nice view. Highly, highly, highly recommend!

I absolutely loved the White Swan Hotel.
**Room:** I booked a river-view king room. The traditional layout made the room feel very spacious and bright, and it was actually very practical – much more functional than rooms in many trendy new hotels. The lighting modes were well-thought-out, suitable for both studying and relaxing. There was even a vanity table next to the washbasin for ladies. The room had a Washlet, but no coffee machine. Honestly, many hotel capsule coffee machines aren't cleaned properly, so I rarely use them anyway. Having instant coffee that you can brew yourself, along with a small snack, is much more hygienic and convenient.
**Restaurants:** This time, I tried dim sum at Hongtu Mansion and dinner at Jade Garden. The dim sum at Hongtu Mansion was truly impressive. The three of us ordered 12 dishes, and while the server said it was too much, we only ended up removing one because we wanted to try everything! The egg tarts, sachima, shrimp dumplings, crab roe xiaolongbao, coconut buns, phoenix claws (chicken feet), chee cheong fun, abalone tarts, and congee with egg and beef were all excellent. Especially the sachima with almond kernels – it had a pure eggy aroma, was fluffy, soft, and not sticky or overly sweet. It was fantastic. Dinner at Jade Garden was also very enjoyable, listening to guzheng music while admiring the carp in the lotus pond, slowly sipping tea and eating. We ordered the chef's recommended 2-head prawns, green-head duck, and lamb shank. The cashew cream soup and red bean paste pancake for dessert were also incredibly authentic; the pancake's egg skin was chewy, smooth, and delicious. We didn't order the famous poached chicken this time because we'd been eating it for several days straight elsewhere, but I'm sure it's also very good.
**Service:** As soon as we got out of the car, the concierge was there to help with our luggage. Daily cleaning and turn-down service were prompt. Room service was incredibly efficient and fast; we'd receive our items about ten minutes after calling, which was excellent. The most thoughtful and surprising gesture was the hotel proactively noticing that our child had passed their birthday and sending chocolates and cookies. But what truly touched us was the handwritten card with a hand-drawn picture from the staff – the drawing was cute and vibrant, and the writing was eloquent. We will definitely cherish this heartfelt gift!
Overall, the White Swan Hotel lives up to its reputation. Both the hardware and software met our expectations. Perhaps some areas are a bit dated, but if they gradually update and maintain it well in the future, it will be even more stunning while retaining its historical charm.
I will definitely come back again and recommend it to my friends and family. Thank you, White Swan Hotel, for giving us such a wonderful travel memory.

Facilities: Fully equipped with both hardware and software.
Hygiene: Clean and sanitary.
Environment: Located in the city center, the lobby features a very tall and large Christmas tree, exuding a full festive atmosphere. There are buses to nearby cities, which is very convenient. There's also a shuttle bus to the China-Hong Kong border.
Service: Enthusiastic, proactive, professional, and efficient. The concierge staff, especially Donnoe, is familiar with the surrounding area and is polite and enthusiastic. He provided useful suggestions for my travel and recommended nearby restaurants. When I checked out, he guided me through a quick check-out process and helped me store my luggage.

I've stayed at this hotel many times before, and I'm always pleasantly surprised and satisfied with everything from the design and amenities to the service! 🎊 I usually come for business trips, looking at furniture and working, but this time I brought my child, and they actually had a crocodile 🐊 themed parent-child design – how thoughtful! My child was so surprised and happy. It feels like my family and I had a wonderful vacation this time. 🥰🥰
Special thanks to Front Office Manager Phoenix and her team 🥳, as well as the housekeeping team for arranging such a wonderful surprise service for us. My child was incredibly happy, and so were we! 😃

Very Good
MM10595****The hotel's location is super convenient, with a subway station right outside. Paul provided excellent service, and check-in was quick and efficient. The room I was assigned was great, and having a gym and laundry room available was a real plus. The delivery robot could even bring my takeout directly to the room. Breakfast was rich and diverse, with plenty of options. The room itself was well-equipped, came with a bathtub, and was very spacious. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time!
KKaifuqukuliI spontaneously decided to book a staycation at the Mandarin Oriental Guangzhou, even though the hotel has been open for over a decade. You really don't notice any signs of aging hardware or outdated design, which I suppose is the magic of both Mandarin Oriental and Tony Chi. The room size was very generous; I booked a basic room since it was a last-minute decision for just one night, and I didn't feel cramped at all – in fact, it felt more like an open-plan suite you'd find in other hotels. The service, as expected from Mandarin Oriental, was consistently high-standard. When I called the front desk twice for an ice bucket while enjoying a drink in my room at night, it was delivered promptly both times. Upon check-in, the front desk also offered Mandarin Oriental's signature roselle tea and a cold towel. Special thanks to Chloe, Eaton, and Catherine for their help during my check-in and check-out. My only minor regret is that I booked too hastily this time, and with high occupancy, I couldn't get an upgrade. Hopefully, I'll get my wish next time, haha.
TTom538Completely won over by my stay at the Grand Hyatt! The location is absolutely perfect, right next to Taikoo Hui and just a few minutes' walk from the metro station, making shopping and getting around incredibly convenient. The room was clean and spacious, and the marble bathroom with a separate wet/dry area plus a bathtub was such a thoughtful touch. The King Koil mattress made for a fantastic night's sleep. The staff were warm and attentive throughout my stay. The robot food delivery and complimentary parking were super practical, and the gym and self-service laundry room on the 5th floor were very convenient. Card access to the elevator for entry made me feel extra safe. It's a quiet oasis amidst the bustling city and offers excellent value for money. Perfect for both business and leisure. I'll definitely choose this place again on my next visit to Guangzhou!
AAnonymous UserExtremely clean, with comfortable beds and a great price – this stay completely exceeded expectations! From the welcome drink upon arrival to the daily replenishment of free bottled water and snacks in the room, every detail was perfect. The soundproofing in the room was excellent, with a wide-open view outside the window. Hot water in the bathroom came on in 3 seconds, and the water pressure was amazing. Breakfast offered both Western and Chinese options, and the freshly made omelets were fantastic. I highly recommend it for families traveling together. The only minor drawback is that the drinks in the fridge cost extra.
MMother of VikingsWe frequently come here to relax. A beautiful paradise hidden in the middle of a bustling city. The fact that there are hardly any people here is great. Foreign people can really relax without having to be stared at. The rooms are spacious and clean. The pool is great with a slide for kids. Located very close to Dongchen, where you can find a lot of Western restaurants. The front desk staff is helpful and friendly. Had a major rainstorm during our stay this time.. but was still lovely.
MM512966****The hotel looks a bit old, but it's great for walks and the hot springs are excellent. There's a good variety of baths and even a simple play area for kids, which is a nice touch. While the buffet was just average, the staff were incredibly friendly. With so many pools, I'm planning to visit again in the summer!

Outstanding
MMS.daxiaojieThe location is excellent, right next to Qinghui Garden, with plenty of parking. The rooms are quite spacious, decorated in an older, traditional style, which might look a bit dated if you don't pay close attention. The hotel owner comes from a background in construction materials, and it's clear they put a lot of effort into managing both the dining and accommodation.
I have to commend the hotel's restaurant; the food is excellent and fresh, and hotel guests get a 10% discount on dining. We didn't have breakfast included, but we came for morning tea, and the quality was superb. Overall, the hotel service is good, and they have enough staff. There's no need to book a room facing Qinghui Garden, as you won't see it from the lower floors.
The gym isn't large but has most essential equipment. The only downside is that it's not regularly maintained (many buttons are broken), and there's no staff member overseeing it. The hotel seems to have a high occupancy rate and hosts quite a few tour groups.
Overall, it offers good value for money and is worth revisiting.

CChilijiThe State Guesthouse boasts an excellent location, nestled between Metro Line 2's Memorial Hall and Gongyuanqian stations, both just a 500-meter walk away. Even Yuexiu Park and Beijing Road Pedestrian Street are within a 10-minute stroll. The guesthouse itself is incredibly quiet, and the facilities in Baiyun Tower are well-maintained. The water pressure and flow are genuinely impressive, and the service is attentive and thoughtful without being intrusive. There's even a direct bus stop to Hong Kong right within the guesthouse grounds. Plus, it's very close to Xihua Road – I won't bother recommending specific eateries; everything in Guangzhou is delicious! 😄
