A perfect five-star review for the R&F Wanda Hotel Jiangmen! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, Annie's warm, spring-like smile and efficient, professional service instantly melted away my travel fatigue. The room was spacious and bright, the bedding was comfortable, and the river view was absolutely stunning. Breakfast offered a rich variety, and the service was attentive and thoughtful. This stay far exceeded my expectations; Annie and her team's warmth made this place feel less like a hotel and more like a cozy sanctuary. Highly recommended – I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Jiangmen!

I chose Wyndham again this year because of my pleasant stay during New Year's Day last year. However, the service this time, at the same time of year, was vastly different. First, the front desk handling check-in clearly ignored my special requests. As a result, when I got to the room, I found that the room I booked was the exact opposite of what I requested. Furthermore, the so-called 'lake view' room only offered a view of large trees (Picture 1). If the hotel didn't have the requested room, shouldn't the front desk have informed the guest? Secondly, I don't think Wyndham accurately estimated the number of guests for breakfast. The entire breakfast restaurant was incredibly noisy, no different from a wet market. I can understand this, as it's a holiday and there are many people. But while people were eating, those coming in would just stand next to others' tables, which I imagine was frustrating for both those trying to eat and those looking for a table. The restaurant staff's instructions for seating guests were also unclear (Picture 3). This is because there were actually dining areas on the other side of the restaurant, but they were in a sunken area and hard for guests to notice. As for the auntie at the rice noodle roll station, I wonder if she wasn't getting paid or wasn't trained, because she wore an unpleasant expression for all to see. If you can't give an extra portion according to policy, you can explain it nicely, because guests might not have seen the notice. But being confrontational with guests only causes anger, especially when the dining atmosphere is already so frustrating! In other hotels, staff are attentive to special families and even offer assistance, but despite Wyndham's high room rates, the service falls short. The breakfast selection was very ordinary, very ordinary, and with so many people, the queues for the limited made-to-order stations were incredibly long. The experience was very poor, and I didn't end up eating much anyway. Thirdly, the five-star Wyndham clearly has very poor preparedness for its guest traffic during holidays. As the weather turned cold that evening, and the forecast had warned of it, which everyone knew, many families with children needed extra blankets. However, the blanket I requested half an hour ago wasn't delivered. Finally, after I called to follow up, they said there were no blankets, and it took another hour for the requested items and a bedsheet (which was better than nothing) to arrive. In short, this stay was very unpleasant. A big-brand hotel is still inferior to a guesthouse!

The room was very clean and thoughtfully designed, featuring a sofa bed that comfortably accommodated a family of two adults and two children. There are plenty of facilities for kids, and the environment is very clean. The only downside was that children over 6 years old are charged half price for breakfast. What can a 6-year-old possibly eat for over 160 yuan? At most, a bowl of noodles and a bowl of cereal. This pricing really isn't family-friendly, especially when the room rate is already close to 2,000 yuan. Charging half price for a 6-year-old is unreasonable. As a family-oriented hotel, you should be more considerate of children. Otherwise, paying 2,000 yuan a night just for the hotel itself feels far too expensive and offers very poor value for money.

“The best hotel in Zhanjiang”
My room is sea view suite 1316 with club accessed pass where you can enjoy free dinner and drink 18.00-20.00 and I stayed here for 5 days for work.
The location is great just next to the beach and there is shopping mall where you can find something to eat and it takes only 7 mins by walk.
The room is very spacious and provide everything you need during your stay, fridge, big bathtub with sea view, robes, comb, dryer, salt bath, mouthwash, etc
Breakfast is also a competitive advantage as it offers a variety of choice (most of them are Chinese food) since early morning until 10.30.
Staff is very helpful and the front desk can speak English.
The lobby is always crowded and busy because there’s seminar / wedding event hosted here almost everyday.
Facilities of the hotel are great especially gyms and children’s room.
The only negative side is cleanliness. My shower room still got some hairfall on the ground after cleaning but the overall is ok.
I would recommend this hotel and will visit them again.

I chose this hotel because it's right near the border crossing, and overall, it was pretty good. The soundproofing is decent, the hygiene is good, and for a hotel so close to the border, the privacy was actually quite good. Plus, the transportation is super convenient – the airport shuttle drops you off just a few dozen meters away, and the border crossing is only a few hundred meters on foot. My only complaint is that it was really cold the night I stayed, and the central air conditioning didn't have a heating option, so I shivered all night. I called in the morning and they brought a space heater, so the hotel service was still very good.

I needed to print an urgent document late at night, but the printer connected to the front desk computer, operated by Jay, had a paper jam. The staff member on duty remained completely calm. While quickly fixing the issue, he simultaneously used his phone's hotspot to connect to my laptop and guided me to the business center where I successfully printed my document. His ability to handle emergencies and his dual-pronged approach to problem-solving demonstrated exceptionally high professionalism.

The location is quite inconvenient; there's nowhere to eat or shop within 2 kilometers. The 'pedestrian street' is just a gimmick, full of messy little trinkets. The service is terrible. When guests make a request, the hotel staff first say 'no' and then shirk responsibility. This completely ruined my impression of Atour always being accommodating. This hotel can't compare to other Atour hotels I've stayed at; it's a franchised store, not a genuine Atour. At nearly 600 yuan per night, the high cost for such poor service makes it very bad value for money. I feel ripped off. The kettle provided didn't even have a food-grade 304 mark and looked like it was borrowed from somewhere else. I do not recommend staying at this hotel.

Our stay in the Executive Suite was excellent. The room was spacious, with a separate living room and bedroom. The facilities were complete and very new, and the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation with quick hot water. The afternoon tea and evening snacks at the Executive Lounge were top-notch. It was amazing how you could see planes flying overhead just a few minutes walk from the hotel, yet hear absolutely nothing in the room – the soundproofing was superb. The room also offered expansive views, plenty of natural light throughout, and attention to detail was impeccable. Overall, it exceeded our expectations in terms of value for money.
The small garden behind the hotel was a delightful surprise; it was lush, tranquil, and elegant. It was perfect for a stroll in the morning, after meals, or in the evening.
P.S. On our first morning, we chose to have breakfast on the first floor. The staff member who greeted us showed us to our table and asked what we'd like to drink, but no one ever brought it to us. If the staff are too busy, it's probably better not to ask guests what they want to drink out of courtesy!

We received a complimentary room upgrade to a larger room. The hotel's location is excellent. We accidentally left behind a gold bracelet and a valuable gemstone ring. A hotel staff member found them and handed them over to the front desk for safekeeping. I only realized they were missing a day later when I was at a hotel in Zhuhai. When I called the hotel's front desk, they confirmed the items were safe and sound. I suggested to the hotel management that they should promptly call guests to notify them of lost items. Today, I took a taxi back to the hotel in Zhongshan to retrieve them. Ally, the duty manager, accepted my suggestion with sincere and honest demeanor, agreeing that guests should be informed immediately. They even reimbursed my taxi fare for the round trip.

I specifically came to Foshan to buy furniture and chose the Sofitel Foshan, which has a great reputation. Before checking in, I saw the hotel's introduction, and it definitely lived up to expectations once I was there. The hotel's decor, from the first-floor entrance to the rooms, is very stylish. This time, I stayed in a Luxury Postmodern room, which also had a lot of character. The overall facilities in the room were excellent, and the hygiene was very good. This morning, I saw Jingjing, the floor manager. Even though the hotel was very busy, she went above and beyond to graciously grant us a late check-out, allowing me to take a nap after finishing my furniture shopping. The service was truly exceptional!

Very Good
DDT_HKI recently had a delightful stay at this chic hotel, where cleanliness and modern design truly impressed me. The spacious room was a perfect retreat, and I was thrilled to receive a complimentary upgrade upon check-in, making the experience even more enjoyable. The hotel's location was convenient, allowing easy access to local attractions.
One highlight was the complimentary afternoon tea, which provided a lovely touch of luxury. Breakfast was a treat, featuring a wide variety of options alongside a beautiful garden view.
I also enjoyed the unique touch of food delivery to my door by robots, adding a fun and futuristic element to the stay. Overall, my experience was excellent, marked by smooth check-in and attentive service. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for comfort and style in a beautiful setting.
Wwells nThe Mandarin Oriental Guangzhou, a hidden gem amidst the bustling city. This was my second stay, and unfortunately, I encountered some unpleasant issues this time. The bar was being used for a large-scale advertisement shoot even during operating hours. Thanks to the assistance of Trip.com, the hotel eventually recognized the problem. Particularly, Assistant Director of Rooms, Wang Jiajun, handled the situation proactively and with great sincerity, reaffirming the Mandarin Oriental's commitment to hospitality. What I was most satisfied with this time was the room service. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, which significantly enhanced my experience. Room service: 100🌟
RreubenThe room was excellent! The location is bustling yet surprisingly quiet. My friend and I came for the Guangzhou Marathon, and the hotel is super close to Tianhe Sports Center, just a short walk to the starting line. Plus, the hotel offered a late check-out until 3 PM for marathon runners, which was incredibly thoughtful. It meant we didn't have to worry about storing our luggage during the race. Highly recommend, I'll definitely stay here again next time!
毛毛华The room was clean, spacious, and large enough, with a bathtub for soaking. The facilities were complete, and the front desk staff, Kiki, was friendly, enthusiastic, and efficient. Breakfast was also quite good — overall, it was an excellent stay experience.
MMother of VikingsWe frequently come here to relax. A beautiful paradise hidden in the middle of a bustling city. The fact that there are hardly any people here is great. Foreign people can really relax without having to be stared at. The rooms are spacious and clean. The pool is great with a slide for kids. Located very close to Dongchen, where you can find a lot of Western restaurants. The front desk staff is helpful and friendly. Had a major rainstorm during our stay this time.. but was still lovely.
MM305841****This hotel is conveniently located near both Shenzhen and Dongguan South Railway Stations, making it easy to travel by high-speed rail or car.
The rooms are spacious and well-equipped. It was so cozy to turn on the underfloor heating and watch TV shows at night.
The hot springs are incredibly comfortable, with temperatures ranging from a gentle 38 degrees to a steaming 42 degrees, perfect for all ages.
Even though the staff was very busy during New Year's Day, they were all very warm and helpful. Everything from food and drinks to bathrobes and towels was well-stocked. I'll definitely be back!

Outstanding
MMS.daxiaojieThe location is excellent, right next to Qinghui Garden, with plenty of parking. The rooms are quite spacious, decorated in an older, traditional style, which might look a bit dated if you don't pay close attention. The hotel owner comes from a background in construction materials, and it's clear they put a lot of effort into managing both the dining and accommodation.
I have to commend the hotel's restaurant; the food is excellent and fresh, and hotel guests get a 10% discount on dining. We didn't have breakfast included, but we came for morning tea, and the quality was superb. Overall, the hotel service is good, and they have enough staff. There's no need to book a room facing Qinghui Garden, as you won't see it from the lower floors.
The gym isn't large but has most essential equipment. The only downside is that it's not regularly maintained (many buttons are broken), and there's no staff member overseeing it. The hotel seems to have a high occupancy rate and hosts quite a few tour groups.
Overall, it offers good value for money and is worth revisiting.

Ee07300922I booked this hotel for my parents' trip. They love hotels with character, and the Guangzhou Guest House perfectly fit the bill. It's centrally located in Guangzhou with convenient transportation. The venue itself is spacious and bright, with elegant and grand decor. The staff are well-trained, and their service is incredibly warm and attentive. The complimentary travel photography was also a nice touch. They were very satisfied! 👍 Highly recommend!
