Location is perfect for food and shopping. The area is so vibrant even on weekday nights. Room size is reasonable and very comfortable bed. My room had a plate of fruits for free but wonder why not my parents’ room but not an issue. However, on the last night of our stay, one of the rooms’ bathroom was flooded with water. Saw many people ordered products from China and collected from the lobby counter. I’m amazed of the service of this hotel and Trip com as they just called me to inform me that I had left a backpack in the room after I have checked out yesterday. Will recommend this hotel.

This hotel is at the best location with shopping area and food stores right downstairs. It was a birthday trip and the hotel was so nice to arrange free upgrade to the suite room for us and arranged special room setting plus a birthday cake which we are very pleased. Really appreciated all the arrangements. Staff Elena was very kind to handle our check-out with good attitude and very attentive. Enjoyed the stay and will come back again.

The location of the hotel is great; just off the main road and facing the inside so it’s quiet. Good service from the hotel staff. There was even a lychee tasting at the lobby on one of the days I was staying there. The hotel provided a couple of different lychees for guests to try. The rooms are clean and large, and well-designed. Highly recommended hotel!

I had a really pleasant stay here. The caretakers were excellent—attentive, friendly, and always ready to help with anything I needed. The entire property was kept very clean and tidy, which made the experience even more comfortable. Service overall was outstanding. What impressed me most was how the team went above and beyond in assisting me with parcel deliveries. Not only did they help receive my packages, but they personally ensured they were brought up to my room. That level of thoughtfulness really stood out. I left feeling well taken care of and would gladly return again. The room is very clean and spacious. The service was excellent and it comes with free coffee voucher. The location is very strategic. The only con was there was construction ongoing outside the hotel so do expect some noise at night. But overall, would love to be back here again in shenzhen.

My first visit to China was truly memorable. From the doorman to the reception and housekeeping team, every staff member was attentive, professional, and genuinely friendly. I was simply amazed by the high standard of hospitality and the warmth extended throughout my stay. It made me feel welcomed and cared for at every step. To add on . Daily brew soup is an awesome gesture ! I thoroughly enjoyed my time here and will definitely come again!

Originally an older upscale hotel, the facade has been recently renovated, giving the entrance a modern and grand appearance. Pros: The hotel boasts an excellent location, just a 10-minute walk from Luohu Port. While the room's original furnishings have a classic, somewhat dated feel, it was spotlessly clean and offered good value for money, especially at less than 400 RMB on a Saturday. Minor drawbacks: 1. The hotel hallways have noticeably low ceilings. 2. Only 3 out of 5 elevators were operational. Major Drawbacks: 1. The banquet hall entrance was directly adjacent to my room. An event was held there in the afternoon, creating significant noise. What's more, guests could only access the banquet hall via the guest room corridor, leading to a constant stream of non-guests passing by my door. If this is the unavoidable route for banquet access, then a room in this location should absolutely not be designated as a guest room; it's only fit for a storage or linen room. 2. The air conditioning (AC) was practically useless. Even set to 18℃ with the fan on high, it only produced a very weak, slightly cool breeze. It struggled all night, only managing to cool the room to 27.5℃, resulting in an uncomfortably hot night. I checked in around noon and only returned to my room after 11:30 PM. With an early check-out the next morning for Hong Kong, I simply didn't have the energy or time to request a room change. I find it hard to believe that the previous guest wouldn't have reported this AC issue.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, close to both Shenzhen Railway Station and Shenzhen Bus Station. Luohu Port is just about a 10-minute walk away, which was a pleasant surprise for its convenience to Hong Kong. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, and they even offered complimentary freshly ground coffee. The coffee was rich and delicious! Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay. The rooms were equipped with disposable towels and bath towels, which gave me great peace of mind.

The front desk staff at Holiday Inn Express Shenzhen Dongmen were very welcoming and kindly upgraded my room. The high-floor room was quiet and offered expansive views. The bedding was clean, consistent with Holiday Inn Express standards. However, the bathroom floor tiles seemed a bit dated and had some minor imperfections. The breakfast selection was decent.
