"Location & Facilities: The hotel’s location is perfect, walkable to the beach, restaurants, and shops. Having a 24-hour convenience store, souvenir shop, and various eateries (BBQ Chicken, Pizza, Coffee) right in the lobby was incredibly convenient for traveling with a child and an elderly parent. Parking was also plentiful. The Room: We were pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of our Suite. It featured two bedrooms: one with a queen bed and another with comfortable floor mattresses. The fully equipped kitchen (pots, pans, and dish soap included) was a highlight; we loved cooking late-night Ramyeon! Cleanliness & Service: The hotel maintains high standards. I especially appreciated the organized trash disposal area on the floor that we stayed. Regarding service, the staff was attentive and helpful, especially during a fire drill. While we understand these drills are infrequent, the initial announcements were entirely in Korean, causing confusion and worry for our family. English was only used at the final moment for the ”evacuate” command. Although the front desk staff was very eager to explain using a translator, it would be much better if all informative announcements were provided in English to prevent unnecessary panic. Overall: A fantastic, family-friendly choice. We would definitely stay here again on our next visit to Jeju!"

Hotel near Aewol-eup,Jeju City
Located in Jeju City (Aewol), Uni Hotel Jeju is within a 15-minute drive of Paradise Casino and Jeju Loveland. This beach hotel is 5.6 mi (9 km) from Iho Beach and 10.2 mi (16.4 km) from Dragon Head Rock. Take in the views from a terrace and a garden and make use of amenities such as complimentary wireless internet access. This hotel also features concierge services, gift shops/newsstands, and wedding services. You can enjoy a meal at the restaurant serving the guests of Uni Hotel Jeju, or stop in at the grocery/convenience store. Buffet breakfasts are available daily from 7:30 AM to 9:30 AM for a fee. Featured amenities include complimentary wired internet access, a 24-hour business center, and a 24-hour front desk. Event facilities at this hotel consist of a conference center and a meeting room. Free self parking is available onsite. Make yourself at home in one of the 62 air-conditioned rooms featuring refrigerators and flat-screen televisions. Your bed comes with down comforters and premium bedding. Complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected, and cable programming is available for your entertainment. Bathrooms have bidets and hair dryers.

"Arrived in Jeju and spent two nights by the sea in Aewol-eup, where I booked the Uni Hotel. Most hotels here have a 3 PM check-in and 11 AM check-out. The owner is Chinese, and they also own the coffee shop next door and the black pork BBQ restaurant. When you check in, you get a buy-one-get-one-free coffee voucher and a 10% discount voucher for the black pork BBQ. Overall, the cleanliness is acceptable – of course, you can't compare it to a five-star hotel. It's also a bit old, so some of the fixtures are dated, like a cracked showerhead and a leaking toilet. They provide four bottles of water daily, and daily trash removal is included. Getting a taxi is quite convenient, and there are several restaurants and convenience stores nearby."

Even though it's an older hotel, it's very well-maintained, and the rooms are cleaned promptly. The public areas are also quite nice. The check-in staff speak Korean and Chinese, and there are also Chinese-speaking staff available to answer questions. However, nearby dining options are a bit far and require a walk. The restaurants next to Lotte aren't very good and are a bit overpriced. The bread and desserts in the lobby are also delicious; if you go too late, some items are already sold out by locals, and they're not overly sweet. The red bean and chocolate ones are great, but the cream and butter sticks are just average. Getting to the beach requires going downhill, and due to the location, most hotels nearby have the same situation where you have to go down and then climb back up. Overall, it's good. Aside from not providing disposable toiletries, it's pretty much on par with hotels in Sanya, and the room rates aren't inflated.

Old hotel, needs renovating however we enjoyed our stay. Relatively close to the beach. We stayed here for 5 nights. Overall we enjoyed our stay but there are some issues we faced. Firstly they began to tell us they couldn’t accept my Korean issued ID and needed to take a 200,000 won damage deposit (this sign was written in English and showed to us at check in). Once they realised I was using my Korean ID card and bank card they suddenly didn’t need to do this which we found this confusing and wondered if the policy is only applied to some guests. We were also given an information sheet that said we had to “use the room cleanly or we will be charged” meaning we were always conscious leaving in the morning due to thinking we will be charged so we couldn’t fully relax. The room is big but old. The floor wasn’t hoovered for 2 days so sand was still on the floor. The room overall wasn’t well cleaned…we found spiders on the head board and we couldn’t walk on the terrace due to the board lifting. On our final evening, we found sand from night one still on the shower floor. Every night there was so much noise from the room above making it hard to sleep. However there are some positives. The staff are friendly and answered our questions in a polite manner, it’s a great location close to the beach and the room is a good size. Overall, we enjoyed our stay despite there being some things that need to be improved. For the price we paid, it was an okay stay, however we won’t be staying here again and if we paid more than we did we would be disappointed.

Family Quad Room Let's start with the room type – absolutely perfect! It's ideal for families or groups. The beds are comfortable, and the room is spacious enough to accommodate four 20-26 inch suitcases. Plus, there's a separate living area, great for dining, mobile gaming, or as a temporary private space. There are two air conditioners, and you can adjust the temperature yourself. Additionally, the room comes with two sinks, which is super convenient for multiple guests as you won't have to queue up in the mornings. The bathroom is a bit small, and the wet/dry separation is a bit tight, but compared to the other positives, this is negligible. Location: It's about a 10-15 minute drive to both the airport and the city center. Shilla Duty Free is about 20 minutes away, and Lotte Duty Free is around 10-15 minutes. We typically took taxis, which cost between 40-80 RMB per ride. Going to tourist attractions, however, would be more expensive. Now for the downsides: When interacting with the front desk staff, make sure to find the younger ones. The older staff members tend to be stiff and cold in their demeanor. Regardless of regional differences, hotels are a service industry, and such an attitude really doesn't match the room price. The hotel's trash cans are small and few. To maintain a clean environment, you'll need to ask for more trash bags to dispose of waste promptly. The disposable slippers have very thin soles. Also, one day they forgot to replenish the toilet paper. Daytime in Jeju is quite long, and nights are short. The hotel curtains are not very good at blocking light; it gets quite bright by 5-6 AM. If you're a light sleeper, you'll need to bring your own eye mask.

Hotel was modern and clean. Beds are comfortable. It is by the sea which is beautiful but not ideal if you are looking for places to eat or shop around the area. Although the hotel will help you get a cab to the town area about 10-15 mins away. Sunset from our room facing the mountains. Nice stroll by the sea outside hotel

As someone who is always picky about hotel rooms, I specifically came to leave a review because this place is truly worth it. The hotel is very large, and the service is incredibly welcoming. As soon as I got out of the car, someone greeted me, explained the check-in time for the afternoon, and helped store my luggage. If you arrive early, you store your luggage first and then check in, which is different from the Parnas next door. The Louis Vuitton store was quite crowded, so reservations were needed. This is a garden-style hotel, with beautiful sights at every turn, showcasing its former luxury everywhere. Although the facilities aren't the most modern, the cleanliness is exceptional. Every corner, including the balcony, was clearly meticulously cleaned, which deserves a big thumbs up! 👍 All items in the mini bar are chargeable, unlike the Parnas where they are free. The bathroom's wet and dry separation is also excellent. Exiting the hotel to the right, towards the Louis Vuitton store, there's a brunch spot I highly recommend. Their coffee and bagel set is substantial and delicious. They have self-ordering kiosks inside, and you definitely need to get a bell pager in advance. The tofu salad is great for a nutritional boost. Next door is a 7-Eleven, across the street there's Thai food (didn't try it), and diagonally opposite there's a BBQ place (didn't try it). Within a ten-minute walk, you'll find the Teddy Bear Museum, a castle-themed Starbucks, and O'Sulloc Tea Museum. Walking for a maximum of 30 minutes from there gets you to the Jusangjeolli Cliff. It's truly convenient. I'll definitely stay here again next time. Oh, and behind the windmill is Olle Trail Route 8, and walking down from there leads you to Jungmun Beach, perfect for surfing, swimming, and sunbathing.

Staying at ShinShin Hotel Jeju Ocean and honestly… location is 💯 Just minutes away from iconic spots like Eodolgae Rock, Cheonjiyeon Waterfall, scenic trails, and the lively Jeju Olle Market—everything is so accessible. The food? Surprisingly good. The room? Huge, spotless linens, and a wow factor with a massive smart TV—perfect for Netflix & YouTube nights after long walks. Comfortable, clean, convenient… definitely a great base for exploring Jeju 🖤🌊

Very spacious and big, gym was great, everything was great. Facilities at hotel side. Didn’t eat there except for the bakery which was quite yummy (10% off for guests). Just a bit pricey for Jeju.

We are a little disappointed by our stay, particularly given the price tag. Everyone was very friendly and the hotel looked beautiful, but we weren’t too happy with our room. We had booked an ondol room with 3 futons and we were given 1 double futon and 1 not prepared. Staff were very quick to address our request, though it did take a couple of attempts for the room staff to understand what we meant (they then unrolled the mattress but still prepare a double). Finally when they gave us the correct configuration as in the app (3 separate futons), these were sloppily unrolled and thrown on the floor. We had a lovely stay otherwise but our initial welcome didn’t really feel fitting of a 5 star hotel where we had paid 150 USD for a room. I mentioned this to the staff at check out but they didn’t seem too bothered.

In Jeju's most peaceful village, with the majestic Baksugijeong Pavilion to your side and a peaceful harbor ahead, and the most beautiful coastline on the Olle Trail, especially in the mornings, dolphins occasionally show up to delight you. This is a small gem of a place nestled in a truly lovely village. I often travel to business hotels, but it's rare to find a place that offers such a relaxing and restful stay. The cozy room has everything you need, is extremely clean, and the bedding is firm and cozy. The lovely garden and the ocean beyond the window overlook the desk. The tranquility of a book is endless, and the warmth of those who have passed through the house makes the room even warmer. The loving owners, with their refined hospitality, and the owner's homemade bread and the owner's marmalade are worth the all-night chat. I plan to visit again when I visit Jeju for business or pleasure. I had a wonderful rest.

My overall experience exceeded expectations, definitely a five-star review! As a long-standing five-star hotel in Jeju, Seogwipo KAL Hotel truly showcases high standards in terms of location, environment, and service, offering excellent value for money. The hotel boasts an exceptional location right in the heart of Seogwipo city, making transportation hassle-free. It's very close to Jeongbang Waterfall, Cheonjiyeon Waterfall, and Lee Jung Seop Art Gallery, all within walking distance. Dining and shopping options are abundant nearby, so if you're looking to experience the authentic slow pace of life in Jeju, this is definitely the place to choose. Despite being an older hotel, the rooms are exceptionally well-maintained, clean, tidy, and free of any odors. I highly recommend the ocean view rooms; the panoramic views are incredible. As soon as you open the window, you're greeted by a vast expanse of blue ocean and the hotel's stunning green gardens. The furniture in the room is of good quality, and the bedding is soft and comfortable, ensuring a very peaceful night's sleep. The bathroom facilities are also impressive; the shower has excellent water pressure, which is wonderfully refreshing after a long day. The unbeatable ocean views, tranquil gardens, and attentive service made this vacation absolutely perfect. Whether it's a family trip or a romantic getaway, this is a hidden gem of a hotel with incredible value that I highly recommend! I'll definitely consider staying here again on my next visit to Seogwipo. The front desk staff were warm and efficient, making the check-in process quick, and their service was thoughtful and thorough. The cleaning staff were timely and meticulous. Although some of the service staff weren't particularly fluent in Chinese, communication was very friendly, and their attitude was truly heartwarming.
