The location is good, the environment is also good, the bathroom space is relatively large and the partitions are reasonable. The hotel upgraded the room to have a sea view, which feels good. The housekeeper Uki is enthusiastic and helpful, praise 👍

Our stay at the Hengqin Bay Hotel was excellent. The shuttle bus service to and from the various parks was frequent, making travel arrangements flexible and convenient. Check-in at the front desk was efficient, and the staff were friendly and professional. The room layout was well-designed and spacious. The king-size bed was comfortably firm, and the children's bed came with safety rails, which was reassuring. The bathroom had a children's bathtub set and special toiletries for kids, thoughtful details that we appreciated. The bedding was soft and clean, hot water supply was plentiful, and the Wi-Fi signal was strong and stable, providing a smooth user experience. The dining options were extensive and consistently good. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety, from delicious Chinese congee to Western pastries. The ingredients at the Sea View Restaurant for dinner were fresh, and the pricing was reasonable. The cartoon-shaped pastries and tableware specially prepared for children were a big hit with our kids. The hotel's recreational facilities were excellent. The Water World had a dedicated and fun children's area; the indoor heated pool provided a comfortable environment; the 24-hour dolphinarium, combined with scheduled educational talks, was both entertaining and educational; and the children's playground facilities were well-maintained. The service was very satisfying. The butler service was responsive and effective in helping us plan our itinerary and make reservations. Room cleaning was meticulous, and the staff were friendly. Overall, we were extremely satisfied!

A day before our arrival, a butler proactively reached out to inquire about our needs. However, upon checking in at nearly 5 PM, we found that none of our requested items were placed in the room. We contacted the butler, and room service promptly delivered them. Coincidentally, a curtain rod had fallen down. I mentioned it to the young staff member who brought the items, but she seemed to either not hear or not understand, as she left without acknowledging it. The butler later offered to send some fruit as an apology, but despite going out for dinner and waking up the next day, it never arrived. We had to contact the butler again before it was eventually brought to our room. The next day, we requested room cleaning. The cleaning staff member was very pleasant and proactively asked if we'd like someone to fix the curtain rod. Noticing our child enjoyed baths, she also provided an additional disposable bathtub liner. Her cleaning was very efficient and thorough. A significant point of dissatisfaction arose on the last few days of our summer trip. Our child had just run out of shower gel, so we called the front desk to request children's toiletries. To our surprise, they informed us that they do not provide specialized children's products! It makes me wonder if there's an issue with the hotel's target demographic/positioning or with the front desk's service. Furthermore, the indoor pool is extremely small with dated facilities; even the anti-slip mats on the floor are old and discolored. Since the outdoor pool closes at night, many young children end up using the indoor pool. Regarding the restaurant, the breakfast selection isn't particularly extensive, just meeting basic expectations. On our first morning, we observed a thoughtful gesture: a noodle chef helped a father holding a baby by delivering his hot noodles directly to the table. The restaurant staff were also very efficient in clearing tables once guests finished, ensuring minimal wait times. Overall, while there were some aspects of good service, the numerous drawbacks prevent me from giving a full 5-star rating. The hotel offers convenient access to the beach, which is well-equipped with a variety of activities, including camel and horse riding. Due to the presence of these animals, however, certain areas tend to have a noticeable odor.

We had an absolutely delightful stay at the hotel—cozy rooms, spotless facilities, and top-notch service all around. A huge thank you to Eurika at reception; her warm smile, quick help with our requests, and genuine kindness made our trip unforgettable. Highly recommend!

This InterContinental resort hotel was great, living up to the brand's usual standards. The room facilities and cleanliness were all up to par. I stayed for three nights and was very comfortable, with no inconveniences. Most rooms offer a sea view, though not all face directly out; some might be slightly angled due to the hotel's curved building design. During check-in, we were recommended Room 23, which offered a perfect direct sea view. It was excellent! So, for future guests, I recommend rooms in the 20s to mid-20s (you can check the room layout in the photo). The hotel's other facilities are also good. There are three outdoor pools and one indoor pool, all equipped with lounge chairs. The indoor pool even has inflatable toys for guests to play with. The gym and water sports equipment rental facilities were all well-equipped. The gym even had a stair climber, which I appreciated, haha. Breakfast was delicious and generally very good. Every day, I enjoyed a tiny, hard whole-wheat bread that was incredibly fragrant with a strong wheat flavor. Paired with a little light cream, it was super aromatic. The noodle bar also offered three kinds of greens and mushrooms daily. The soup itself was a bit salty, making a bowl of veggies in the morning very satisfying. On my last day, I had oil-splashed noodles (youpo mian) that were freshly shaved, very springy, and delicious. If you don't have a big appetite, remember to ask for fewer noodles. The breakfast restaurant's order and cleanliness were also good, making for a comfortable meal. The hotel's lobby bar also offered decent food. I had two cakes: the pistachio chocolate was better than the Opera cake. I also tried a refreshing chilled dessert (qingliangbu), which was quite tasty. The coffee was just average. I didn't try the hotel's buffet. I had a Tom Yum soup and a seafood salad at the Southeast Asian restaurant upstairs. The taste was good, but it wasn't great value for money. I went to the hotel's Cantonese restaurant, Yuècài Wángfǔ, two days in a row and absolutely loved it (you can see my separate review for Yuècài Wángfǔ). So, dining is definitely not an issue here. The front desk service was superb. The same kind and friendly gentleman, who was a bit chubby, checked us in and out. He was very warm and attentive, leaving me with an excellent first impression as soon as I arrived. All in all, Dameisha in the off-season is well worth it. Falling asleep to the sound of waves every night and waking up to the morning sun. After breakfast, I'd take a walk on the beach or just lie on a lounge chair by the beach or pool, lost in thought until the afternoon. It was truly delightful.

The hotel is not demanding, but the soundproofing of this apartment is really not average (I asked to clean the opposite room in the morning, each room is separated by plates), and people outside can hear it when they walk, it seems that there is no door, and they are awakened by the sound of the new door opening in the middle of the night. By the way, the sea view room basically can't see the sea, because the tree outside the window is too high, you can see the street and the road. There is also Trip.com members charge two hundred deposits, what is the reason for ordinary guests to charge one hundred? ? ? Praise is because of the habit of commenting... Anyway, if you have requirements for sleep, you must avoid lightning.

What a wonderful surprise this B&B was! The service is incredibly attentive, the views are stunning, and the rooms are beautifully designed with top-notch amenities. The two receptionists were also so gentle and patient. (And the breakfast was genuinely delicious!) I would absolutely choose to stay here again if I return to Shenzhen! (It can get pretty hot, so staying in is a great option. The balcony views are truly magnificent – I even found them more spectacular and beautiful than visiting the actual seaside!)

First off, a huge shout-out to our butler, Flora, for her incredibly thoughtful service! My girlfriend and I stayed at the Angsana Zhuhai Phoenix Bay, and it was hands down the best hotel experience we've had in the last two years! We booked a full sea-view room, which was spacious and airy. The large circular bathtub on the balcony was a delightful surprise – soaking in it while watching the sunset over the ocean in the evening was incredibly romantic. The hotel's public areas are tastefully designed, perfectly blending Nanyang and marine styles. You can clearly hear the waves crashing against the rocks from the beach, making you feel like you're in the middle of the sea. During the 'blue hour' at dusk, the hotel lights gradually illuminate, reflecting on the water, creating a breathtaking scene. The dining also exceeded our expectations. Breakfast offered a wide variety, including freshly made omelets and local specialties. The service staff were well-trained, always appearing at just the right moment without being intrusive. We will definitely choose Angsana again next time we visit Zhuhai. It offers a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle, yet retains convenient access, making it an ideal getaway for city dwellers.

Our stay at Bo Yu Apartments in Xiaojingwan was an absolute delight! I had initially been worried that three consecutive days of rain would dampen our spirits, but to my surprise, the room was clean and comfortable. It was perfect for staying with kids – as soon as the rain stopped, we could head straight down to the beach to dig in the sand, and coming back to the room for a shower after playing was incredibly convenient. That was a huge plus. As for dining, we also made a couple of pleasant discoveries. On the first day, we ate in the commercial street; while the options weren't extensive, the ingredients were very fresh. On the second day, we bought seafood at Xiacong Market and had it cooked at a nearby eatery – the value for money was astonishing! This three-day, two-night trip was meant to be an 'escape from the daily grind,' but it felt more like a wonderfully stolen moment of relaxation. We truly enjoyed ourselves. We'll definitely be back when the weather is clear!

An absolutely amazing trip experience, with both the hotel and travel photography exceeding expectations! The hotel boasts stylish decor, clean and spacious rooms with excellent natural light. Every corner offers a beautiful view. The service was warm and thoughtful, making me feel right at home. It's conveniently located near a commercial area, so dining and attractions are super close. The travel photography team was incredibly talented; the photographer was professional and patient, skilled at capturing spontaneous moments. The entire shoot was relaxed and enjoyable, and the final photos far surpassed what I expected. Highly recommended!
