The entrance wasn't clear.I walked the stairs and walked back down and asked the beauty store staff for help. I dont understand why the hostel designed separate everything in different floors, locker rooms, bedrooms, exit floor, lounge room. That's makes it more inconvenient and difficult for customers.
I guess perhaps is easier for staffs to clean up and set up. However, I feel so weird and odd to spend much more time to go to third floor, seventh floor, ninth floor, back and forward Furthermore, to exit out got to go up to ninth floor and change to another elevator to exit. There is only one elevator to exit, what if it is out of order, then what would happen?
The locker rooms air conditioner is very cold, but the bedroom does not have much air con and circulation. The hallway is fine but inside the bedroom area, I felt not enough air to breath. I talked to staffs several times, finally, the last staff I spoke to, it changed, I felt better.
The location is convenient - just a few minutes from Hakata station and the bus terminal.
The owner is friendly - he explained everything, showed everything himself ๐
The room was clean and cozy. The air conditioner worked perfectly, so the temperature in the room was adjusted as desired. The futon is moderately soft, the pillow is small (for me this is a plus, not a minus ๐).
Of the minuses - poor soundproofing, but I only needed one night, and besides, I walked to the point of exhaustion, so I slept soundly despite this ๐คฃ. And a very small toilet (on the 2nd floor) - I am a very compact person, but even for me it was not very comfortable ๐ . But these minuses are insignificant, in my humble opinion, so I was satisfied)
It was a pleasant stay. Warmest welcome by the Front Manager whom I canโt remember how to spell his name. He was very slim and extremely polite. Soft spoken. Very Professional gentleman. Impeccable service. He actually cares about my medical condition.
Bless his kindness.
The room is sooo tiny. I'm a petite woman but I still feel it's too small for one person. If you don't smoke don't forget book the smoking free room type. I didn't notice that when I booked online and I'm glad they changed for me though. Japanese breakfast and free breakfast is the plus. And the location is awesome. It takes 5mins to walk to Ohori park. All is said and done, if you have limited budget to find a good hotel with good amenities, you can book this one.
When I visited Huis Ten Bosch, it was hard to find a nice and affordable place to stay. All the nearby places are very pricey but thank god, I found this place and itโs actually not that bad. So if you want to visit Huis Ten Bosch, Iโd recommend here. Itโs next to the station and itโs only 5mns to Huis Ten Bosch.
I stayed in this dormitory because my flight was early for my trip the next day.
I only needed to sleep, so I decided to stay here just because of the price and the location near the airport line, and I'm glad I did.
There are many restaurants and convenience stores in the area, so you won't have any trouble finding something to eat. The nearest station is the Nanakuma Line, but Gion Station on the Airport Line is also within walking distance.
The dormitory felt a little old, but since I was only sleeping there, it wasn't a problem. I didn't mind the noise of daily life either.
Towels are not provided, so you should bring your own or they are available to rent for a fee.
The shampoo in the shower room is rinse-in-shampoo, so if you are a woman and that bothers you, you may want to bring your own.
The shower room and toilets are shared by both men and women.
Very satisfied with the hotel facilities:
The automatic control of bathtub water discharge eliminates worries. During the discharge, you can be free to do other things without worrying about water overflowing;
All room and hotel instructions are clear and comprehensive, and there will be no misunderstanding.
The hotel is in a prime location, just at Exit A of Fukuoka Domestic Terminal, turn left after the traffic light, and walk along the asphalt road on the right hand slope before Lawson convenience store;
There are buses from the airport directly to Kumamoto, and there are subways directly to Fukuoka Castle and Hakata Station.
Because the hotel does not have luggage storage service, this factor should be considered during the trip.
It was not as bad as what other reviews said. If you are coming to Japan, expect that business hotels and hotels in general are small but compact and have all that you need. This space is big enough for 2 people. There's also kitchen where you can cook, microwave, ref and washing machine. Train station is 10-minute walk but there are nearby bus stations so it's not that hard to go around the city.
Although the building was old, I think it was a good value hotel. The room was well-cleaned, so it was enough for a night's sleep.
The walls were thin, so the noise from the next room was sometimes bothersome.
The hotel had a wide range of amenities, such as bath salts and face packs, which was nice.
The rooms are a little old, but they are well-cleaned and have good security. One of the hotel's special features is that you can get free rice balls in the dining room until 9am. The woman at the front desk is very friendly and polite. It's a very warm place.

SShiyueThis is the third WeBase I've stayed at. Take the subway from Hakata Station for two stops to Nakasu-Kawabata Station, exit 7, and walk for five minutes. There is a striking big cat at the door. There are about 30 beds in the multi-person mixed room. The public area is very clean. The public bathroom is on the second floor, and there is a separate bathroom for girls. The ninth floor is the breakfast and public space. The breakfast is simple but sufficient. There is space for luggage storage and self-service coin-operated laundry on the first floor.
Good location, high cost performance, clean, and the service staff are from all over the world and are very enthusiastic.

GGuest UserA traditional ryokan in a good location close to many restaurants. It is an older establishment but was still very comfortable. The owner is very friendly and helpful and made our stay enjoyable. She made a beautiful breakfast for us which included smoked eel which is traditional for the area. We would stay again if we visited Yanagawa again.
EeunheeWhen we go to the hotel, you have to fill out the guest list online in advance while giving us our passports to make hotel check-in easier. I didn't know that, so I had a hard time doing it in front of the hotel...
I didn't remember the password until I got home after 3 nights and 4 days. ^^;;;
Be sure to take a picture of the access code and the front door password...
They don't clean the place for 3 nights and 4 days... You can think of it as living at home~... There are plenty of towels and toilet paper... You can do laundry because there is detergent for one time... You can cook, but it's a bit too much to eat when you come to visit...^^;
If you go out a little, there are tons of places to eat nearby... You can walk to Kennel City, and Tenjin Underground Shopping Mall is also within walking distance...
I think they do the basics wherever you go in Fukuoka~
Go in comfortably...^^

GGuest UserBreakfast is ordinary, just a simple mini salty pie and a drink. It can even be said that there is no need to exist; there is no need to purchase additional items. There are some conveniences and some inconveniences in getting to the public bathroom on the first floor, but the location and environment are really impeccable.
MMr Adam PorterWe were visiting to watch the rugby at the Mikuni World Stadium and wanted somewhere to stay near by. This place was an absolute gem, incredible room, huge jet bath with TV, breakfast served in bed and the best part was the view from the balcony included the Mikuni World Stadium. Staff were amazing, they didnโt speak English but were very quick to assist and help. They received post for me before my arrival which they gave to me as soon as I arrived, there was a private lounge area to rest and refresh when we arrived too early to check in. I would certainly revisit, especially if youโre headed to the stadium. I wish Iโd taken more photos of the amazing room!

GGuest UserBeautiful ryokan. Authentic, relaxed and well-kept. Beautiful garden, located directly on a canal. A stone's throw from a quiet and beautiful shrine and the jetty for the traditional boats. The landlady speaks a little English and is very helpful. We had a large room on the top floor with a view of the canal. Everything is new, large and comfortable. For one or two nights a perfect place for a traditional Japanese overnight stay including Japanese breakfast. Great value for money. A great place off the beaten track. We would come again. Jjollyhau๏ผUsually im quite picky about the restroom, but i have to say its really tidy here cause they clean the hostel everyday๐ฏ
๏ผbed space doesnโt feel stuffy or musty at all! The sound proof is better than i thought, comparing with other hostel i have lived. You wont hear squeaky sound when others getting off from the upper bunk (impressed)
๏ผ was worrying if its too far away from the station, but the bus station to hakata is actually 3 minutes walk only, and they come very often. convenient!
Conclusion: comfy and nothing to complain!
