The location is good, but the interior of the room is too old and feels worn out. There is no view, but the room is big so it is not stuffy, and the parking lot is spacious, which is good. You could say that everything is nearby. It is about a 5-minute walk from the border checkpoint. I couldn't try breakfast because it was not open.
While the location of the hotel is excellent and the staff are helpful and friendly, I did notice that the bed sheets, pillow covers, and towels appeared old, torn, and somewhat dirty. Since our stay was only for one night, we didn’t request a change. However, I must say that the meals provided were delicious.

For a budget hotel this offers cheap accommodation that is more than adequate with a large double bed and fully functioning air-conditioning. The hotel staff are always helpful, and it is a ten minute walk to the golden clock tower near where the bars and restaurants are crentred. We had a great time in Chiang Rai, getting a hire care for three days and stopping in town for the other two.
We stayed in a riverside room with a stunning view. The resort has a unique charm — blending Thai elements with tranquility in a beautifully balanced way. Everything was clean and well-maintained. Compared to other hotels in the area, the breakfast here was quite good.
One downside: the bathroom roof design can be slightly inconvenient during the rainy season.
This resort is perfect for couples and families. However, it might not be ideal for elderly guests, as the walkways lack handrails.
Warm and friendly service throughout our stay.
I booked an extra night as the price was very good for the standard of accommodation. The WiFi was a bit hit and miss at times but it's not a big problem. I will definitely stay here again when I'm in Chiang Saen
We had a great experience at this hotel. It's new and extremely clean. Free water is available anytime, and in the morning you can enjoy complimentary coffee and biscuits. The hotel offers access to both a swimming pool and gym. You can even wash and dry your clothes on-site.
The staff is friendly and eager to help. The room is spacious with very comfortable beds. We found it quiet despite being right next to the street. Our only observation would be some small bugs in the bathroom, likely from the water or plumbing system.
If we return to Chiang Rai, we'll definitely choose the same hotel again.

Very Good
AAnonymous UserThe rooms are clean, the breakfast is delicious, full, the mattress is comfortable, the TV is clear, the entrance is a bit mysterious, hard to find if you don't know, the internet signal is not good. The room is convenient.
PPoBoxEarthWe stayed here recently, and while the room was big, it felt a bit bare, there wasn’t much furniture, just one bedside table and no proper chair - only a stool. There was no coffee or kettle in the room, but you can get free hot water at the café downstairs (just ask for it) and purchase instant coffee packets, or get a fresh brewed coffee for a fair price.
The room had windows at the front and back, but only the one facing the walkway had an insect screen, which was odd since it doesn’t offer any privacy when the window and curtains are open. The back window opened onto an open field, but has no screen.
The curtains were about 80% light-blocking, so the room stayed dim after sunrise.
The beds were comfy, but the Wi-Fi signal in our room was weak and slow, we had to use our mobile phone data to get decent speeds. Parking is limited, and all the spaces were taken by 8 PM, so plan ahead if you’re driving. There was quite a lot of construction noise starting around 9 AM, but considering it was shortly after the floods, it’s understandable they needed to do repairs.
Overall, it’s okay for a short stay if you don’t mind a few quirks, but there’s definitely room for improvement.
GGuest UserIt's a quiet and secluded hotel that's a good place to rest comfortably, even though it's far from the city.
If you're looking for a quiet place, it's probably fine.
I stayed in the villa building and it's spacious. The bathroom has an instant water heater, but only lukewarm water comes out, so it was a little uncomfortable to shower.
And a simple breakfast is provided.
TTruderAlways stay at Hi Chiangrai when i visit this town.
Hotel location is perfect as there are lots of eateries within walking distance. Can also walk to the night bazar which also walking distance.
The hotel just renovated recently and the lobby and restaurant looks fantastic.
Will definitely stay in Hi Chiangrai again.
KKrittinaGood service, very good receptionist, ready to help the room well, but the room is not soundproof, I can hear the sound of people walking loudly.

AAnonymous UserGood prices for those who gonna find a place to rest…. 2-3 minutes walk to blue temple…. Several breakfast restaurants choice besides temple…
GGuest UserThe hotel is in MFU. The atmosphere is very good, not hot, lots of trees, refreshing, safe, comfortable sleep, but the room is not very soundproof, the sound of opening and closing the door is very loud, the signal is not very good, there are only a few channels, the old air conditioner is a bit noisy, but the room is very spacious, there are many facilities, there is a restaurant near the accommodation, overall it is good.
