3-Star Hotels in Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan

Wow! Wow! Wow! What an experience we had! It was really fantastic! They provide a good service and do everything so well, that you want to continue your stay there! When we came into the room, there was a table laid with tea and Japanese desert mocha for two people. I appreciate for that! The Japanese kaiseki dinner was up to my taste, but not all the food as I could not recognise the taste of some and I simply didn’t like it. My daughter doesn’t like fish, so she could taste only a few dishes. She liked rice (how good it was cooked). A wonderful sunset and a wonderful sunrise is way I intended to see! I did! It was amazing! Photos attached. Try to see it, too! The breakfast was also with fish. As for me, it was tasty. My daughter found it not to her taste. Onsen was relaxing and very good to visit! Worthy! They drove us to the station after our stay at the hotel. I appreciate the hotel for the accommodation and service! I recommend this hotel, but I would come hear earlier to spend more time in ryokan!

The hotel is a Ibis/ Holiday Inn Express version of the Prince Hotel. It is no frills basic hotel with a great location. The breakfast is a simple chazuke dish with a drink. Check-in timing is inflexible but you can leave your luggage and explore the area a bit, not sure if Prince Hotel loyalty members get any special treatment. The room is basic and have everything you need with ensuite bathroom. The location is just a short walk from Atami Station and the Toyota Rental Car office. There is a car park but there are some restrictions over the timing etc.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at! Great quality hotel, especially for the price. Very professional and friendly service, the room is very high quality and nice. I especially like the onsen, which was complete with 2 different hot baths (one with fresh outdoor air even), a cold plunge, a rain shower, and a sauna! Just incredible for recovering after a long day of walking around. I actually wish I had gone to the onsen sooner, and would have used it likely 2x a day if I had known how good it was. The breakfast was also incredible. Just a huge variety of great food options, most of which were Japanese which I quite enjoyed. They even had wasabi (fresh I think), soba noodles, and lots of seafood options. This is one of the top 5 best hotels I have ever stayed at! Keep up the great work. I also loved Shizuoka!! This hotel has several restaurants very close by and is only 1-2 blocks away from the main store and restaurant area of that part of Shizuoka City.

The room was very clean, and the hardware facilities were very good, including air conditioning, a refrigerator, a kettle, and a small safe. Mount Fuji was right outside the window, and I was lucky enough to see it clearly. The breakfast was not very rich, but it was filling. It was very close to Gotemba Outlets, a 20-minute walk away. I made an appointment with my friends to stay at this hotel together next time!

The sea view is beautiful. Although the hotel is a little old in decoration, the hygiene is very good. The bathroom is newly renovated and the facilities are very good. The only drawback is that the room lighting is a little dim and the door can be upgraded to a smart lock~

The hotel is very close to the station. It takes 3 minutes to walk from the south exit and past two traffic lights, as shown in Figure 1. There are a few things I am particularly satisfied with this time: First, the room is very large, as big as the room of a domestic express hotel, and a 27-inch suitcase can be easily spread out. Second, the hotel can rent bicycles for 700 yen a day. I rode along the coastline to Sanbao Song. But the seat is hard... a bit painful. Third, my ********* sister, who is still an intern, solved the translation problem and helped a lot. This is the happiest time I have stayed in an express hotel in Japan!

The room was spotless and the decor was very welcoming, making us feel completely at ease. The location is excellent, very close to Mount Fuji, and the upper floors offer beautiful views. We hope to have the opportunity to stay here again. The staff were exceptionally friendly. The rooftop foot bath facility was incredibly comfortable and relaxing.

Anyway, all the staff were very friendly and the service was great. It was a ryokan that I would definitely like to use again. The room was clean, spacious and beautiful, and the open-air bath in the room was also very comfortable ♨️ There were many types of yukata, so it was fun to choose! The food was also very delicious, and the course meal at night was all luxurious and very tasty, which impressed me. Drinks are charged separately, but everything was delicious! I recommend Mt. Fuji Cider 🗻💗 Breakfast was a buffet, and meals were prepared for each person. The buffet food and the set meal were both delicious, and both my boyfriend and I ate it all up 😋 I have no complaints, so when I come to Izu, I will stay here again! Thank you so much! !

Excellent location with a surprisingly good view of Mount Fuji. Room small but has all the necessary facilities with lashings of hot water and a smartly designed plumbing system. Very close to Shimizu station and the Fish Market. The Maruko Land, Dream Plaza Complex is a pleasant 15 minute walk away.

it is about 10 to 15 min walk to the JR train station. Along the way, there are only a handful of shops are open. Although you can tell that it is used to be a busy and vibrant place to visit. Maybe it is due to covid that many businesses are closed. The castle nearby is a great place to visit and to enjoy the morning stroll.
