Wasn't expecting much but ended up so pleasantly surprised! My elderly parents and I absolutely loved our stay here! One of the best places we stayed in Iceland this trip. The Guesthouse manager (matnus? Sorry I'm not sure how his name is spelt!) was kind enough to help us arrange a last minute change of room as we changed our minds and wanted to upgrade to a bigger room. We stayed at the one bedroom apartment and everything was lovely. Squeaky clean, even for a clean freak like me. The place was well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. I noticed there is a thick layer of cushion over the sofa bed so this was the most comfortable sofa bed I've ever slept on. My parents also said the double bed was very very comfortable. Highly highly recommend this Guesthouse!

Location: Good, located next to the lake, with restaurants and attractions nearby Facilities: We stayed in a two-person room on the third floor. The room was a bit small, and a suitcase larger than a boarding suitcase might get stuck; the extension cord had poor contact, the hot water pressure was sufficient, and it came with a hair dryer, soap, shampoo and Conditioner; there is chess to play in the public area. But why does the 4-person room on the first floor have a hot water kettle (as seen through the window when walking by the lake), but not upstairs? ! Service: The first floor is under renovation, self-service is provided, keys are provided in envelopes for self-pickup, no breakfast is provided, only paper is enclosed in the envelope. Recommended restaurants Others: Located next to the road, with no airtight windows and poor sound insulation

The hotel facilities are complete. It is beyond imagination that the public bathroom is very clean and has no odor. There is only one washing/drying machine. It takes a while for a lot of people. (I waited for almost 2 hours because some people were unconscious. The clothes are left for a long time before they are taken away, which is a waste of my sleep time.) The room is super small. Very appreciated for the host’s understanding that we can’t arrive to the hotel on the booking date, due to the road closed for the heavy snow. Through the phone call one of the male reception asked where we were and the told us not to move any more just stay in the safe place. And trip.com services help us to communicate with them and we got the full refund days later. Really thankful for all the kindness for the hotels.

The stay at the Viking Cafe was very pleasant. We arrived in the evening in drizzling rain. We were very happy about the kettle and tea and coffee. Nice hosts, delicious breakfast in a nice rustic atmosphere. The next day the sun was shining, the Vestrahorn mountain in front of the black dune beach was magical and beautiful. Unfortunately, the time to discover everything was far too short.

大環島路上最貴的一家，早餐和房間並沒有比我們住過的1k酒店強多少，但是晚餐真的無敵。我們嘗試了羊排、牛排和prosecco（衹有一款意大利的）。當天沒有salmon，衹有另外的一種魚，所以我們放棄了魚。 路對面就是超市和加油站，淋浴間有地暖，洗髮露護髮素很好用。 走廊盡頭有旋轉樓梯可以看外面的景色。最高層有玻璃屋頂方便暖暖和和看極光，她們有極光叫醒服務，在前台登記即可，不過我們當天是陰天。 如果追求性價比，可以選擇僅晚餐在這家。她家羊肉的汁兒非常好吃，推薦。
