This is a very pleasant, well located hotel for the price bracket. The staff are nice and efficient. The rooms are basic and singles are quite compact, but have everything you need for a night away from home. The tube station and main road with lots of dining options is about a 5 mins walk away (if that) but it's far enough away so there is no noise.

Bog standard room - worth the price - absolute bargain. Please make sure you let the reception know by calling or emailing your check in time just so things run smoothly. Signs of ageing furniture and flooring and a bug constantly flying in the air and buzzing around the ceiling light - but to be expected at such a cheap price. Room size is adequate - the curtain has a gaping hole which can be resolved quickly by replacing it. Shared toilet facility is good and clean and the hotel is relatively quiet.

Clean room. Lacks hair dryer, slippers, hand and face towels which are basic needs for travellers. Location okay hoppabus stops at the entrance,buses just outside the hotel. Restaurants, shops supermarkets, garden just round the corner very easy for a stroll.

Always a reliable place to stay as it is close to my work. In late 2023 and early 2024, I was often able to get a good value stay here in an accessible room. However, more recently prices have been a lot higher for this hotel on Trip.com, so I have stopped using it because the Stratford Travelodge usually works out quite a bit cheaper. It's a shame because I prefer the Ibis but can't really justify the cost difference.

Friendly and efficient check in. Corridors and room very tired and in need of refurb. Badly stained carpet.  Hot shower. Comfy bed but the usual synthetic pillows which I hate. Room incredibly hot even at lowest aircon. Tried to open windows but couldn’t. Good coffee in coffee shop.  Really, really slow at checkout.  Can’t fault location with hopper bus right outside front door. Picked this hotel over others as it was slightly cheaper for the required night. I’ll continue to shop around rather than prefer this hotel but it served its purpose for my stay.

Excellent hotel in East London. 10 mins walk away from Forest Gate tube station, 10 mins by bus to Stratford. Very well kept and rooms are very clean and have everything you need. Staff are very helpful and super friendly. Breakfast is very good as well. I would definitely stay here again, highly recommend if you’re looking for a great place to stay at a good price.

Generally great... location is good, shops right at your door step, room was an attic room, don’t really like that but was large clean and tidy, bed was a single and clean, toilet was clean and has a window. Only let down was the fact that when I checked it they said no breakfast when I specifically choose the package with breakfast, so ended up going to the Tesco 30seconds away to buy breakfast the night before. But would book and stay again.

I’ve stayed here before and the room has some dirt in it and the staff weren’t very helpful. But this time the men around reception were quick, professional and pleasant, and the room was much cleaner. After 2 stays I can confirm that no matter where you stay, you will be able to hear corridor noises and plumbing through the building. That’s fine for most people but just something to bear in mind if you’re neurodivergent like me.

First of all, credit go to a lady working in bar Ms. Deepti who is nice and helpful. Room is clean and spacious. However, 3 things make me concern about the security and privacy of my room. 1. No door latch provided 2. At around 10am, someone knocked my door. When we answered the door, he/she ran away to the lift lobby quickly. 3. At around 11am, a lady wearing uniform, WITHOUT knocking, opened my door with her KEY CARD. When she saw my husband inside, just said sorry and left WITHOUT any explanation!

I have speak with reception today, room was dirty, pisses of glass on the floor, toilet dirty , hair under the shower, dirty toilet seat , I should stay a whole night , I came only because I didn’t wanna pay cancellation fee because we booked wrong date, but I couldn’t use the shower and toilet seat was very dirty so after 2-3 hours I check out. Room doesn’t smell even fresh - for this price I was in shock. Anyway 86£ was wasted. Reception amazing, helpful and nice. They told me even I’m Not the only one who complain about cleaners.
