3-Star Hotels in Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes, France

Stayed at L'Oree du Parc in Divonne-les-Bains for three nights in March 2022, deciding to book one of their small apartments. This is larger than their standard Studio, having a separate bedroom and a lounge/dining room with a sofa which would convert into a single or double bed if necessary. For two people we had plenty of space. Cleanliness on arrival was excellent and the overall condition of the apartment was also very good with only a few small signs of wear-and-tear which were really unnoticeable. The kitchenette facilities were fine for preparing breakfast but we didn't use them for cooking any meals. I'm sure the hob and microwave would be adequate for preparing a small meal if you wanted to eat in. My only minor comment would be the curtains in the bedroom should be thicker than the net provided, since there aren't shutters. This meant the outside lights shone into the bedroom at night, but really I didn't lose any sleep due to this. We would certainly stay here again, as proven by the fact this was already our second visit.

Perfect location!! Close to the mall with different stores and also a migros. A hypermarche where to buy everything. Its very close to ome great restaurants, close to Geneva, about 20 minsby car. Very accessible. Love the size. Kitchenette was only 2 pits but we managed to get some food done. The hotel is clean, quiet and it was an overall great stay. Breakfast was limited but nice enough.

This is a clean- cheery and fun hotel! A very good rate- awesome staff and food! The location is convenient as well- a perfect place for a family or couples stay - little bowling alley Board games- pleasant surprises everywhere-they even had parking!

We often stay in Adagio Aparthotels because we often travel as a family and having a kitchen is always a plus. We find that Adagio service, comfort & cleanliness is always consistent. Rooms are always clean upon arrival. And although there is no daily cleaning of the apartment, they have cleaning supplies for you to use. This Adagio in Annecy is very well located. It is about 300 meters behind the train station, walking distance to the old town and the lake. Just around the corner is a mall with a big Monoprix supermarket. We had a room good for 3 people with a small balcony. The bed was comfortable but the sofa bed wasn’t too comfortable. The bathroom had both a shower and tub. The kitchen had a small dishwasher and very ample kitchen cookware, plates, glasses, etc. They also had a coffee maker. Air condition worked well, and there were a lot of cabinets for us to use. The people in the front desk were friendly and helpful too.

The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable. Small but correct rooms. Well complicated telephone to use (app + cable required) Small dad just right

The hotel is not in the city centre, but is close to the station. The rooms are clean, the bathrooms are separate from the toilets and it is quiet at night.

i wanted to try this hotel because it was in / at the airport and it gave me the impression to be a bit different, fresh, funky. That is true, the rooms have a different look, are more inspired that your usual hotel, well equipped and maintained. but unfortunately that's where it stops. The rest is totally sub standard. It took more than 15 minutes to check in and then it wasn't over yet, because i had to go back once more in the queue because the room key didn't work. That day, the weather was hot, so the room was extremely hot because the airco wasn't functioning until i entered the room. It took over an hour of noisy max level airco to get the room to a decent temperature. There is a light below the bed that automatically switches on when there's movement - it is a great concept but unfortunately it detected something several times during the night as well, switched on automatically in the middle of the night, so that i woke up. All in all, the concept of the hotel might be great, but the basics for a hotel (i.e. a good night sleep) are not met due to the time lost at check in, the time need to get a correct temperature and the odd light switching on during the light. Finally, I mentioned these issues at check-out, i got a lot of generic apologies, they mentioned that they would look into the airco and took my name, but never reverted to me. Also, no attempt was made to make me feel better, eg by offering a coffee, breakfast or a face to face with the manager on duty. And if the staff doesn't offer that proactively, I'm not going to ask it. I will use the NH back again next time. A bit less fancy perhaps (but very solid correct quality) and at least i can be sure that i get what i come for: sleep when i arrive late night.

Fifth visit to this hotel and for the first time when booking I saw different prices for different room sizes, and chose the only 1 that had any availability when I came to book, so I knew I would not be getting a big room with balcony as I've had twice before. The air considering now seems to be in all rooms (it was only in some last time I stayed in 2019), but I do wish they would give the option of being able to use it all year round (a notice states that when the mode has been switched, I guess centrally, it is not possible to switch it back, and last time I stayed it was a warm October and the air conditioning didn't work). In steamy June it was great to have very efficient and controllable air con and the room was very comfortable for sleeping. Every room has a kitchenette which we find very useful for chilling drinks etc. We did miss the balcony for having a drink, but knew we wouldn't get this so weren't disappointed. The young chap who checked us in was very pleasant but spoke very fast French to me at check in and didn't revert to English despite my not great French, I think I should be flattered! We had some issues with our door lock which worked only intermittently. We reported it twice and the problem seems to be diagnosed by what colour light shows when the card is inserted, the problem was there was no light at all! The second time, after being totally locked out and even a very friendly housekeeper couldn't make it work, the lady from reception changed the batteries but it still didn't work reliably so she said she'd get maintenence to have a look the next day. We don't think this happened, but we did find that if we pulled the door forward before putting the key in we could get it to open. The piece of wood at the bottom of the door was loose and was a bit of a trip hazard. Housekeeping is only done every other day which was perfectly fine and when it was done it was to an amazing standard (eg sheets changed) but the coffee supplies seemed inadequate for 2 people (only 1 coffee capsule, creamer etc) , not that it was a problem for us as the machine was a bit too complicated! All in all, this was another very pleasant stay in a hotel that feels like home from home for us now!

As the room was not ready yet, we leave for the city centre and as we come back in the afternoon, two other guys at the reception, barely speaking any English or French, hint that we had to pay for the stay. Somehow we manage to be understood and we only have to pay for the ”tax de sejour”. Let's speak about the rooms - I understand that this is an extremely basic hotel, but for the price paid one would at least expect a decent room. Well, this is definitely NOT the case. Rooms are tiny - literally. No hooks to hang clothes, no bathroom shelf, leaving the nice option to leave all your toiletries on the floor. The towels are two tiny towels that might be used to dry your mouth (maybe) after cleaning your teeth - hoping that the sink is not clogged and not fixed (as it was four our case, even after having promptly informed the reception). The TV has NO other channels if not French speaking - I understand we're in France, but haven't you heard of satellite? The AC does not refresh this tiny hole, and even in May, we had to sleep with our windows open not to suffocate What else to say if not: save your money and go else where, for that rate you can absolutely get better accomodation

I spent a relaxing night in this hotel residence after a good day of travel and work. The bedding is great, the room very clean and spacious with the necessary equipment, desk, wifi. The room also has a balcony. We can enjoy it when the weather is nice. There are restaurants nearby. The street can be noisy with the windows open. But with double glazing and air conditioning, this inconvenience is easily resolved.

We needed to stop en-route to Marseilles and also needed EV charging. It is the first time we have used B&B Hotels and it won’t be the last. Booking is easy via the app and it is worth contacting the reception and saying that you have an EV. We arrived, booked in, were given one code for front door, garage and room and when we parked up there was charging point ready to use. The rooms are functional, clean with more sockets than you can ever use - nobody has that many devices - comfortable beds and great conditioning. The breakfast was included and was all you needed for the journey ahead. The receptionist was most helpful and guided us to a local brasserie George being Sunday that was a blessing.

De passage a lyon en famille nous avons passez une tres bonne nuit ,endroit calme et propre .Jeune veilleur de nuit courtois et agréable ( Merci pour les petits ) . Les pizza au feu de bois sont tres bonne . On reviendra !!

Hard to find fault for the price and location. It's not 5 star, but it isn't 5 star prices. Nothing wrong with it. Reception staff are nice and helpful. Hotel is very clean. Good room, nothing fancy but good bed and linen. Modern clean bathroom with big shower. Bring your own hairdryer though, you will be there all day if you have long thick hair, it's useless really. Quiet room. Breakfast was good. Good coffee and juice. Good quality plain yogurt and pastries. Also bread, ham, cereals etc. Right next to station which you can walk through to get to Westfield shopping centre. Just across the road for the airport tram etc. Would stay again

I stayed here in August and November and am returning in December. (Visiting my daughter on her erasmus year). On both visits to date I have found the rooms, whilst compact clean.and well maintained. The beds have been very comfortable. The rooms have a decent hairdryer, fab showers, free wifi, tv and tea and coffee facilities, which the staff are only too happy to top up. Breakfast is mainly continental (although there is bacon, sausage and egg available - just not my choice) lovely and fresh selection of meats, cheese, fruit, cereal, breads, juices and hot drinks - self serve. The staff, different on both visits, have always been welcoming and friendly. Location wise - perfect, close to trams and buses and easy to access to main train station. Easy to access all sights of interest. My husband and I look forward to revisiting in early December.. the only downside the price in December (during festival of lights) is nearly treble... but that appears to be a similar trend in other hotels at this time. Overall, an enjoyable stay.

Very well priced, modern and very comfortable hotel. Good location off autoroute for one or two nights stay and close to Lyon centre. Good breakfast. Rooms have separate bathroom and loo, modern rain shower with great design and finish. Highly recommended.

The location is awesome, the front desk is friendly and helpful. I did not try the food. The rooms are compact and practical. The property is well maintained. its like a friendly neighborhood hotel.

The apartment-style apartment has a kitchen and full tableware in the living room. There is a supermarket within 10 minutes walk. You can buy your own ingredients for cooking. The two-bedroom lake view apartment is facing the lake. The view is very good. There is a garage for free parking. The price is right, cost-effective, distance Evian town center is a little far away, the town itself is not big, on the hillside, it is more suitable for self-driving

I don't think this level of hotel is at this price in Chamonix. The staff are kind and the rooms are clean. Wifi doesn't feel stressful. It is a little inconvenient that it is far from the center and there is no shop nearby where ski rental can be done. However, there is no problem because the bus stop is a 1-minute walk away.

Room is quite small but clean, bed is comfort. I love their live music on Saturday night. Free Arcade game. Lots of activity. The restaurant is full, need to book in advance. Love their decoration as me, 90's. Strongly recommend.

Lovely hotel in the city center. We weren't expecting much as the price is low compared to other hotel in chamonix, but everything was perfect. The room is clean and confortable, with balcony and view on the mountain, we had free access to sauna. Thanks to the location and the free parking, you Can just leave your car and use mecanic devices and bus. We would like to thank all the staff who were adorable and helpfull. Be sure we'll either come back or advise someone to go in that hotel.

Absolutely fantastic. Wasn’t expecting so much from what was classed as a 3-star hotel. I’ve stayed in 5-star hotels that weren’t as good as this one. Staff were always super friendly and very helpful. Even gave advice on ski resorts. Food wonderful also. Location brilliant. Super clean. Very comfortable. I actually don’t think I’ve stayed at a hotel were I can honestly say everything was perfect… EVER! Truely a brilliant hotel. Highly highly recommended. Will definitely be back.
