Ocean View Hotels in Kedah, Malaysia

If you are looking for a place close to the sea, with a real pool for the children and adults as well this hotel is great for your familly trip specially if you have little kiddos. The service is efficient and all the personel are amazingly warm, helpful and réactive to your needs. A warmth thanks to all of you. Rooms are clean and the breakfast is diverse and delicious. The rooms have sufficiently space missing part is the coffee machine that it is missing. Also no bathroom where you can rest and enjoy hot bath but instead, a huge space to have your shower. Regarding the amenities ,the sport room is great but, I will have move it to have the view of the sea,instead of the current place. The spa is really simple, not so cosy and fancy, no as expected for a 5 stars. For me, the missing part is the hotel's place: close to the city , the aerport, , many construction around, far from the forest. For me, it is more a 4 stars hotel but not a real 5 one that take you breath as you can expect in this environement, so to say. As a conclusion , If you are looking for a place to rest, restore, regain energy, I don't think it is the right place. If you are looking for a place to enjoy with your children then , Parkroyal is the right one. Being as well very close, almost attached to a conference center, is a great hotel for the guests.

The hotel lobby is an open-air concept, so without air conditioning, waiting for check-in can get quite hot and stuffy. Thankfully, they offer refreshing iced towels and a welcome drink (fair warning: it's very sweet!). The accommodation blocks feature a rustic charm, with red-tiled roofs and black walls. Each block has a single entrance that leads to four rooms – two on the upper level and two on the lower. A shuttle will take you and your luggage to your room, but it's actually quite close and easily walkable if you prefer. There's an outdoor pool to enjoy. We had dinner at the hotel's grill restaurant, enjoying sunset views with live music. P.S. Check-in isn't particularly early; our slot was 3:30 PM.

A Memorable Return to Aloft Langkawi Pantai Tengah – Great Food, Modern Rooms, and Friendly Service This was our second stay at Aloft Langkawi, and we chose to come back because the food is fantastic, the rooms are modern, and the staff always makes us feel genuinely welcome. One major highlight is the breakfast – it’s simply awesome, with a wide variety of delicious options to kickstart your day.Good atmosphere & view at the pool However, we did encounter a minor inconvenience. Our initial room, 218, was located directly below the 24-hour gym. Unfortunately, the sound of weights being dropped and equipment being moved above was quite disruptive, creating noticeable thuds that occasionally made the ceiling vibrate. Thankfully, the staff and manager responded quickly and efficiently, arranging a smooth room change, which we greatly appreciated. Another thing that could use improvement is the hairdryer in the room – it feels a bit dated, and my wife, with long hair, found it a bit of a challenge. The washroom ventilation could also be better, as it tends to get stuffy after a shower. On a brighter note, the live band at the dinner area is fantastic, creating a great atmosphere to unwind in the evening. While we didn’t opt for the Saturday seafood buffet, even though it was my birthday, this was mainly because the promotion (pay for two adults, get one adult free) isn’t particularly couple-friendly. Instead, we chose the à la carte menu, which was equally impressive and added to our overall dining experience. Additionally, parking is convenient, which is always a plus, especially in a popular destination like Langkawi. Overall, despite a few minor issues, we had a wonderful stay and would recommend Aloft Langkawi for its excellent service, modern design, and outstanding dining options. With a few small tweaks, it could be the perfect getaway.

Customer service very good, room are big and spacious only TV is a bit small. Breakfast are ok but can have more variety. The gym equipment needs to be improved as some are out of order. Overall, we enjoy our stay here.

Resorts World Langkawi offers a great location with beautiful sea views and easy access to local attractions, making it a convenient base for exploring the island. While the building is quite old and could use better maintenance, the friendly and helpful staff make up for it with good service. For the price, it’s a decent value — especially for budget-conscious travelers who prioritize location over luxury. Just don’t expect modern amenities or a freshly renovated space.

The beach view and overall atmosphere were absolutely premium. However, the cleanliness inside the hotel was rather disappointing. The floor seemed uncleaned, there were unwashed lizard droppings, and the coffee machine hadn’t been cleaned, leaving an unpleasant smell. Still, I would return and try a different room because the view is truly unique.

After such a hectic schedule of wedding, me and my husband thought of having WE time before returning to work, I must say we made the best decision.  Rebark island is a private island with beautiful resort and best rooms having sea pool or forest silent view. Beach, swimming pool, spa, gym access. Room amenities and housekeeping top notch. Breakfast buffet and food was very tasty I must  Staff here is so friendly.. if you want some time out from the daily chaos and this place is the best. Highly recommended

My wife booked us a stay here for my birthday, and the experience was awesome. Clean room, excellent service, and stunning views. The hotel has a very nice pool and the location made everything very convenient. A convenience store and many affordable restaurants nearby.

Overall I had a very nice stay here, their staffs were very helpful and attentive. The resort is a bit secluded but understandable since they have private beach. Remember to arrange ur transportation like renting a car earlier. The Grab price from resorts to other locations are very expensive. And I don’t suggest renting motorcycles coz at night the road that lead to the resort is very dark and eerie I must say haha. The beach was clean, our room was so big and we can turn the tv to our bedside haha! Lotsss of electric plugs. Movies options was a lot. Facilities are also a lot. Bath tub has bath salt okayy yall! The swimming pool near their cafe is a bit scary though coz it’s really deep like head level deep with no life guard on duty. The price of their foods & drinks were definitely on the higher price side. But we didn’t mind coz there was a night market on Friday just 9mins from the resort. The downside is the rooms that are not ocean view don’t have an elevator so it can be tiring to go up and down. They have quite a lot of breakfast options, but the taste are only so so. But i did enjoy my stay here! 🩷
