Huang Zitao was warm, friendly, and professional. JJ Lin and Jackson Yee gave a detailed explanation of the check-in process and even offered to connect on WeChat, assuring us they would respond immediately to any needs throughout our stay. This trip was to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary, and the hotel surprised us with a special cake and fruit, which was a wonderful touch. We were extremely satisfied.

XXiongshifujiang-For my trip to Dalian, I chose to stay at The Castle Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel. This neoclassical building, perched halfway up Lotus Mountain, is a landmark of Xinghai Bay itself. From a distance, its spires and arches evoke a fairytale Bavarian castle, making it a 'photographer's paradise.' From the moment I stepped in, the high-ceilinged lobby with its crystal chandeliers, angel frescoes on the walls, and the melodious piano music—every detail exuded regal luxury and sophistication. The spiral staircase was an absolute perfect spot for photos, where every shot looked like a vintage masterpiece.
I booked a Grand Sea View Balcony Room. Upon check-in, the front desk staff not only processed everything efficiently but also thoughtfully provided welcome fruit and a handwritten card. The room continued the European palace style, with velvet sofas, decorative vintage fireplaces, and Baccarat crystal lamps, all exuding a sense of quality. The most delightful feature was the magnificent 180-degree floor-to-ceiling window, offering an unobstructed panoramic view of Xinghai Bay as soon as you opened it. The traffic on the cross-sea bridge sparkled in harmony with the ocean's waves, and at sunset, the sea was awash in an orange-pink glow—a truly spectacular sight. The room's amenities were designed for ultimate comfort; the toiletries were refreshing citrus-scented Atelier Cologne, and even the disposable items felt high-quality. As someone who appreciates attention to detail, I was thoroughly impressed.
The hotel's dining options were extensive and of high quality. Breakfast was a fusion buffet of Chinese and Western dishes, featuring not only standard bread, coffee, and hot entrees but also Dalian's local specialties like seafood porridge, freshly made seafood pancakes, and stir-fried mung bean jelly (chao menzi). The fresh salmon sashimi and warm egg tarts were particularly unforgettable. The policy of free breakfast for children under 1.2 meters also makes it ideal for families. In the afternoon, I enjoyed a castle-themed afternoon tea at the Lobby Lounge. The three-tiered silver stand held exquisite and tempting delights like crabmeat tarts and macarons, paired with a pot of Earl Grey tea. Sitting by the window enjoying the sea view provided a complete sense of occasion. The Royal Beer House on the fifth floor offers brewed German beer, perfect for an evening drink in an authentic German setting, while the Royal Club on the 20th floor provides breathtaking panoramic sea views, making it an excellent spot for relaxation.
In terms of facilities, the hotel's heated indoor pool had pristine water and was surrounded by lush greenery, resembling a secret forest oasis. The 24-hour panoramic gym was equipped with top-of-the-line Technogym machines, with treadmills facing the sea, allowing you to enjoy the beautiful scenery while working out. The hotel also features a dedicated Castle Kids' Club, offering themed rooms and exclusive toiletries for children, and even providing bed rails, making it incredibly family-friendly. The concierge service was extremely thoughtful, offering electric buggy transfers by appointment, which avoided the inconvenience of walking up the mountain roads. Occasionally, we even spotted pheasants and deer within the grounds, adding a delightful touch to the trip.
The location is another major advantage of the hotel. Xinghai Square is just a 10-minute walk away, where you can feed seagulls, watch the sunset, and enjoy the light show on the cross-sea bridge in the evening. Xinghai Ocean World is about a 10-minute taxi ride, and both Tiger Beach and Bangchuidao Scenic Area are only a 20-30 minute drive away, making transportation very convenient.
Overall, The Castle Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, Dalian, with its unique castle architecture, unbeatable mountain and sea views, attentive service, and comprehensive facilities, was the highlight of my Dalian trip. Whether for a romantic getaway, a family vacation, or a business trip, this is an excellent choice. I will definitely stay here again on my next visit to Dalian.

GGuest UserThe hotel boasts a fantastic location. Right outside, you'll find a scenic viewing platform, conveniently situated between Gates 3 and 4. For just 20 RMB, you can enjoy unlimited rides on the shuttle bus all day, which conveniently connects all gates from 1 to 7. Gates 3 and 7 offer water activities, while Gate 6 features a charming beach dotted with pink tents. If you're looking for dining options, Gates 1 and 2 have a wider selection. In the evenings, Gate 3 also hosts vibrant stage performances. The hotel rooms are generously sized. Photos 1, 7, and 10-13 below were all taken from the hotel balcony, showcasing the stunning views. In the evenings, you can clearly hear the lively buzz from the Gate 3 performances, and at 9:30 PM, you're treated to the spectacular fireworks display from Discoveryland. It's also a perfect spot to catch the sunrise in the morning.

NNichengbaixiaobaiExcellent! Very convenient location. Right across the street is the terminal for bus route 16, and Line 2 of the subway is downstairs. The room was clean, and breakfast wasn't included (but that's fine). Great value for money. The only downside is that the food options nearby aren't great, but the BT clothing store on the first floor of Kaidan Plaza downstairs has some really good deals – super cheap!

KKal KarimA very comfortable and enjoyable experience at Bayshore.The hotel was fully booked with families on holiday, and many enjoyed the Sea World Park and fun fair rides 150m from the hotel. My room was 1912, and overlooked the bay. The room was spotless but getting a bit dated. The shower door is not sealed, so it leaks, but everthing else was fine.Air con was working very well and kept the room very cool.
Breakfast had a vast menu, but for a foreigner, the choice was acceptable but limited.
Overall, it was an enjoyable experience but expensive at £195 for a sea view double room for 2 nights staying on my own Weather was poor but did not detract from my stay..
Location excellent. Metro (2nd Hospital of Dalian Medical Uni) and Xinhai Square about 15 mins walk.

The B&B is located at Dalian Fisherman's Wharf, directly opposite the sea. The first floor is a breakfast restaurant + coffee bar, and the second floor is a B&B. The overall accommodation is very retro and very photogenic.
The environment is super good. I stayed in a triple room for two nights and a quadruple room for one night. The price is fair and reasonable! I came before May Day so there weren't that many people.
The big bed in the room faces the sea, it has a duplex structure, dry and wet separation, clean bedding, and it is pet-friendly! ! ! I brought a kitten and a puppy. My dog is very well behaved and doesn't bark. The staff will also take care of the kittens and puppies.
Travel photography at the pier: I especially want to praise the travel photography! The retouching is super natural, I’m not even wearing any makeup! The photos you took of me look really good. I’ll give you five for free! Posting to Moments is especially chill
Service: The breakfast is very good, and the best way to describe it is clean! The wontons are freshly made by the old man, the noodles are all hand-rolled, the shrimp paste is especially delicious, and the Italian meat sauce is not bad either! I want to praise the coffee, the Americano and latte are very pure~

Every day during our stay, she'd ask if we needed anything replenished in the room and if we were satisfied. The day before check-out, she even asked if we needed a late check-out. The hotel service is top-notch; after we mentioned it was a bit dry, the butler proactively brought in a humidifier and then asked again at check-out if the humidity was suitable – the attention to detail was exceptional. The hygiene was good, and the facilities were also very comprehensive.

GGuest UserA very memorable weekend trip. I booked a sea view garden room on Ctrip, and the front desk upgraded it to a sea view garden suite for free. It was a 180-degree unbeatable sea view. The afternoon tea snacks and fruits were of high quality. All the drinks in the small refrigerator were free, and the breakfast was also rich. After checking out, the hotel also gave us a gift. I have been to many places in China, and the Kowloon Bay Full Sea View Hotel left me with a very good impression. I hope to have the opportunity to come again in the future. The hotel has an excellent geographical location, with one mountain and two seas, and is very close to the first mountain in southern Liaoning-Dahei Mountain. Across the road from the hotel is Tongniuling, which is surrounded by mountains and the sea, and the scenery is pleasant. In the colorful autumn, between the mountains and the sea, encountering this hotel is the most beautiful encounter!

Being so close to Xinghai Beach was a game-changer—I loved starting my mornings with a stroll on the sand. The hotel itself felt really welcoming, with cozy rooms that made me feel right at home. The staff were really friendly, always ready to chat or offer tips on what to see in the area. There's usually sojourners who can speak English to help international tourists. It was the perfect way to fuel up for a day of exploring. I’m already planning my next visit!

AAnonymous UserAfter a few days, I stayed at the Hilton again, and I'm giving a strong five-star review to Hilton Dalian! From the moment I walked in, I felt a warmth. The parking attendant was very responsible and attentive in the cold winter, guiding me every step of the way, totally reliable. The bellhop actively helped with my luggage and escorted me all the way to my room, with a kind and thoughtful attitude. The front desk even thoughtfully upgraded me to a sea-view room, which was a wonderful surprise! After checking in, I felt the room was a bit cold, so I called customer service for a heater. In less than 5 minutes, a manager called to check in on me, not only arranging it quickly but also specially bringing a pot of steaming ginger tea. After drinking it, I felt warm all over and started sweating, and my cold symptoms immediately eased! From the gate security to the front desk, and then to customer service and room service, the entire process was professional and heartwarming. The attention to detail was evident throughout, making the experience absolutely top-notch. I must highly praise this hotel; it will definitely be my first choice when I come to Dalian in the future!
