Ocean View Hotels in Hainan, China

There’s nothing to complain about this gorgeous hotel. From check in to check out, the service was fantastic on the hotel’s end. They take care of the luggage as you get off the car. After checking in, the staff walked us to our room and explained where everything was and to contact her if we needed anything. They made sure we had the right size robes and slippers for the kids and sent us a welcome fruit basket. The view was breathtaking. Beds and linens were soft and comfortable. The restaurants gave excellent service as well. Room service was fantastic. The water park food stalls are the only ones that were rude. The only other complaint I have is the staff that works at the breakfast buffet. When other restaurant guests cut in line, they still serve them instead of telling them to get in line. It’s a big culture shock as 9 out of 10 people here don’t get in line unless the staff insists and not serve them. The water park could use clearer signs. And some slides were closed due to staff shortage. That was a bit disappointing. The hotel swimming pool is beautiful. Night swimming was one of my son’s favorite part of the trip. We did the beluga whale encounter and it was so worth it. The staffs were really nice. That definitely made an unforgettable trip. At the end, the hotel even left us a gift of 2 stuff animal whales. So happy they gave us 2 so my kids can each have one. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are going to Sanya. FYI, you’re going to need translation app if you don’t speak Chinese because other than the staff that was assigned to help us, nobody speaks or understands English.

Good accommodation! The hotel itself not new - built in 2014. But all services and amenities functionality very good. Every day cleaning service, wide choice of foods on breakfasts, swimming pool area and etc was good. We got number in non smoking floor (10th) and that was very surprising (we’re not smoking so that was cool benefit) All hotel staff was friendly and professional. Unfortunately i met only one employee who can speak English. So having translator app on your phone is necessary unless you’re speaking Chinese :)

The hotel turned out to be quite good, it justifies its four stars. The rooms were a little tired, but there was a kettle, a TV, and a refrigerator in the room. Towels are changed every day, bed linen is changed every few days, and the bathroom has a full set of accessories. There are beach towels and a mosquito fumigator. The breakfast is good, mostly Chinese-style, but there are also European dishes such as yogurt, scrambled eggs, toast, sausages, and more. The chefs are trying very hard, the food is delicious. How to do it, I would like the mattresses to be softer. It's a 10-minute walk to the beach, and there are plenty of cafes, restaurants, and shops around. the pool in the building across the street is clean and secluded. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel. The staff speaks little English, it's better to download a translator.

The hotel is great. Great location (just beside a big mall) and great staff. Special mention for Joey and Sally, they provide excellent service. The view from my hotel room is gorgeous with glimpse of sunset. Full breakfast range with live eggs and noodle stations. On the whole, staying in this hotel was a very pleasant experience … they even took care of my parcels before my stay. The concierge helped to received and safe kept them! Thumbs up to the Langham team!

Hilton Wenchang is located on a beautiful property, having a great staff kindly extending most excellent hospitality to our family all the way from the swift check-in, breakfast, happy hour in the lobby lounge, kids club with great activities as well as the refreshing outdoor pool. I also need to mention that our daughter was super excited to see the space rocket launch from the tropical beach just a short walk from the hotel. A memory for a lifetime!

I have a wonderful time with my mom at castle hotel 欧宝酒店 and for the first time I am purchasing clothing from a hotel and the quality is great and price is reasonable. I bought a lot of t shirts and beach pants for my 2 kids. I also bought a lovely dress for myself and scarf for my mom. The breakfast have variety of choices and is very delicious. The noodles is a must try items. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The island is easy access and is very suitable for family with young kids. There are a lots of activities available for them that can keep them occupied, within the hotel and island too. The ocean park is a must go place to see dolphin’s show, apart from that, there are many other marine species in the park and activities that may excite the kids. Please spare a day here to finished off all the shows. The light show at 婚礼庄园is also a must go place. There are 2shows available daily at 8pm and 9:30pm . Just took a train at CNY30, you can have unlimited rides to travel within the island 1. I personally love 海花岛and will definitely come back again in near future. Me

Ocean Flower Island is a little deserted and many attractions were closed, probably due to low peak period and stagnation of the island development, but the stay in Hilton more than made up for the disappointment. Front Office Manager, Ms Judy Zhu was very helpful and accomodating. The concierge boys were very nice, especially Leo Tang and brought us around the island whenever we wanted to, even when it is not the listed shuttle timing. The executive lounge was closed due to the low occupancy but we were still able to enjoy the lounge benefits at the 1st level restaurant.. The restaurant manager even told us we can order food that is not listed on their menu for the high tea and happy hour and the chef will try to whip up the dish. Room furnishing is new and looks better and more modern than the other 2 Hilton hotels that I have stayed during this vacation in Guangzhou and Sanya. I would highly recommend Hilton if you are planning to visit Ocean Flower Island in Hainan.

This stay was truly like coming home. The host was incredibly thoughtful and patiently solved many of my problems. The room was clean and tidy, with complete facilities, everything described online. I loved the balcony the most, with a view of the refreshing ocean. It was perfect, and it only took a few minutes to get to the beach, bringing me even closer to the sea. It was also very convenient to eat downstairs, and there were many bus routes to all the attractions. Everything went smoothly. [OK][Handshake]
