No complaints whatsoever, apart from the hot weather. The location is fantastic, and the environment is stunning – it truly felt like a scene out of the 'Wizard of Oz'. Jintan Beach is right downstairs, perfect for taking the kids to catch small crabs and collect seashells. However, compared to Yintan Beach, the water quality here is slightly inferior. On the bright side, Jintan offers better value for money, and most importantly, the sunsets here are absolutely breathtaking. The swimming pool downstairs is also excellent – clean and well-maintained. Dining options nearby are plentiful, and if you don't feel like going out, you can easily order food delivery to your room.

Facilities: The hotel has a very stylish design with various room types. We chose the 'Wave Seaview' room, which features floor-to-ceiling windows and a balcony, offering an instant view of the ocean. The hotel facilities are also comprehensive and modern, including a constant-temperature hot tub, a dryer, and smart home features (the large smart TV was a lifesaver for putting the kids to sleep – they’d just watch it and drift off 🤣). Service: The butler service was superb! With a team of 10 butlers, all our requests and issues were addressed promptly. It's perfectly suited for families with both elderly members and young children. Every day, there was afternoon tea and a 'goodnight stew,' along with airport/station pick-up and drop-off services. They also arranged activities like clam digging and sea fishing, and even provided a farewell gift upon departure! Location: It’s located in the Golden Beach area, not far from the old town and very close to the Oceanarium. A night market is right downstairs, and if you walk a bit further, you'll find various local food stalls. It's a bit further from Silver Beach, but a taxi ride takes about half an hour, so transportation is convenient! Especially noteworthy is the complimentary travel photography service. They collaborate with Yuexiang Travel Photography. The photographer was excellent at capturing moments and kept us in a great mood throughout, leaving us with beautiful memories of our family of five. After the first day's shoot, we immediately booked another session for Silver Beach the next day. The photographer arrived on time and even waited a bit for us. Since we had seniors and kids and didn't want to overexert ourselves, she encouraged us to play naturally while she took photos. We were extremely happy with the pictures!

The biggest highlight of this hotel is undoubtedly our butler, Lulu. Before our arrival, she proactively contacted me to understand our needs and went above and beyond to fulfill them. She was incredibly helpful with anything she could coordinate and actively sought solutions for things beyond her direct control – truly commendable! 👍 During our stay, she was incredibly responsive and efficient in booking activities and arranging a late check-out. So, these 5 stars are definitely for our butler. Another great point is the lifeguard at the pool; they are, without a doubt, the most responsible I've ever encountered at a hotel. They diligently watched the pool every single minute, never getting distracted. The staff at the kids' activities also did a fantastic job, engaging with every child and ensuring everyone felt included. On the downside, the room cleaning could be improved. The non-slip mat in the bathtub had a greasy film underneath (though when I informed the butler, she immediately resolved it and provided disposable bath liners). Replenishment of amenities was also inconsistent. The hot food at the executive lounge was disappointing and didn't match the quality expected from a five-star hotel at this price point. Lastly, the kids' club was very small and lacked proper ventilation.

Traveling with my child, staying at the Crowne Plaza was incredibly convenient. We were right next to Silver Beach Yuyou Plaza, which made it super easy to go clam digging and play in the sand. The hotel has a self-service laundry room, and there's even staff to help with washing and drying, which was a huge plus. The complimentary morning tea voucher was legitimate – no hidden catches – and the morning tea itself was delicious and plentiful. Breakfast was also very diverse. My child and I would usually have breakfast at the hotel, and that would basically cover us until dinner. The evening buffet was also quite extensive, with excellent service and a great selection of seafood.

Just stayed at Fangchenggang Atour Central District Store, the overall experience is directly full, and it must be highly recommended by five-star praise! From entering the door to staying, I feel the caring and thoughtful service throughout the whole process. I especially want to thank Lu Yi. Only true, with the three staff members, their professionalism and enthusiasm, the journey is full of warmth. When checking in, the young lady smiled kindly, moved quickly and efficiently, quickly helped me through the procedures, and patiently explained the use of hotel facilities, actively recommended the surrounding food and travel routes, and the details were full. Virgin is intimately assisted on the side, handing in warm welcome tea, gentle and patient, and answering any questions in detail, which makes people feel comfortable. Yihao followed up the needs throughout the whole process, took the initiative to help carry luggage, guide the elevator, warm and thoughtful attitude, and did not neglect the whole process. The hotel is in a superb location, located in the downtown business district, with convenient transportation, dining and shopping around, and super convenient travel. The room was clean and tidy, no smell, reasonable layout and warm, the bedding was soft and comfortable, the deep sleeping mattress was matched with skin-friendly pillows, and it was easy to relax when lying down. The bathroom is separated from wet and dry, the quality of toiletries is online, and the corners are cleaned spotlessly. In addition, the hotel is very complete, 24-hour self-service laundry room, gym is all available, late at night there is warm heart porridge supply, the details are full of care. Overall, this Atour has a superior location, comfortable environment and top service. Luyi, but true, with the warm service of the three staff, it makes this stay experience particularly unforgettable. Next time I come to Fangchenggang, I will definitely choose this Atour and I will highly recommend it to my friends!

I highly recommend the Beihai Marriott! Especially the complimentary photography service by Manyun Travel Photography – it was absolutely fantastic! The hotel's location is excellent, just a few minutes' walk to Silver Beach. The rooms are clean and bright, and the sea-view rooms offer an incredible panorama. Watching the sunrise and sunset from the balcony was simply beautiful. In terms of service, from the front desk to housekeeping, everyone was very attentive and quick to respond. I must specifically mention Manyun Travel Photography. As a complimentary experience for guests, the quality was truly outstanding! The photographer was skilled and patient, taking many beautiful and Instagram-worthy photos for us at the hotel and by the sea, capturing the most wonderful moments of our trip. The hotel's breakfast was also extensive, and there's a dedicated kids' club, making it a top choice for family holidays. When I return to Beihai in the future, this Marriott will definitely be my first choice!

This has to be the most highly recommended luxury hotel in Beihai. The location is excellent, the facilities are new, and the rooms are cozy. The food is also a rare find – delicious and great value for money. The infinity pool, outdoor pool, pet park, and the kids' club on the 7th floor are perfect for families, and there's even a bubble show in the pool in the afternoon, which kids absolutely love. A big thank you to the front desk lady who upgraded us to a sea view room, offering direct views of the most beautiful part of Silver Beach. I also want to commend the two gentlemen who led the morning beachcombing activity; they taught us detailed techniques and went above and beyond to help us collect shells and catch crabs, making sure we had a plentiful haul. We will definitely choose Hualuxe again next time.

This is a fantastic homestay! The staff are incredibly welcoming and always ready to help with any questions. The Rainforest Restaurant has a bar area where you can order new cocktails, and the evening ambiance is really nice. There's also a pool at the homestay, perfect for a swim in the summer. Booking includes pier pick-up and drop-off, and breakfast is also included with a self-service buffet. Overall, it's a great experience.

The hotel is quite close to the old town street, with the sea right behind it. I saw people fishing, though I'm not sure if they caught anything. There's a swimming pool at the hotel, but the weather was a bit cool, so I didn't go in. Instead, I sat by the edge watching kids learn to swim. Staying here was very convenient. I bought some dried seafood to take home; the price was reasonable, and fresh seafood would have been too difficult to transport.
