GGuest User1. During check-in at the Manyue Hotel, the staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. Upon entering, it immediately felt like Wynn Macau – very high-end. The abundant and pleasant fragrance was very comforting, and you could tell this hotel is very upscale, stylish, and trendy.
The hotel's location in Gongbei is excellent, close to the Macau border, the light rail station, and the bus terminal, making transportation incredibly convenient. The environment is elegant and sophisticated, and the lobby is spotless.
2. We stayed on the 16th floor, which was excellent, offering views of Macau. The room was very spacious, the pillows were comfortable, and the bed was large and cozy. Everything was spotlessly clean. On the 5th floor, there's a gym and a swimming pool, along with complimentary laundry facilities. The only minor drawback was that the swimming pool was a bit small. Otherwise, everything else was fantastic.
3. There's free parking for guests until check-out, which is very convenient. The parking lot isn't huge, but it's sufficient. Right next to it is Lovers' Road, offering a pleasant environment.
4. There are several dining options, and the front desk informed us that hotel guests receive a 15% discount. On the 22nd floor, there's morning tea, seafood, and Cantonese cuisine; on the 4th floor, Thai food; and on the 2nd floor, a very affordable afternoon tea.
We chose the 22nd-floor restaurant for tea, which had a great ambiance and offered views of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge. They serve authentic Cantonese dim sum, and both the manager and the service staff were excellent, providing very warm and enthusiastic service. Their operating hours for dim sum are from 9:00 AM to 2:30 PM. In the evening, they primarily offer dinner with a limited selection of main courses. If you want to have tea, I recommend going at lunchtime! The manager recommended their signature dim sum: cashew char siu pastry, pineapple buns, and roast goose. The manager explained that every dish is handmade and made-to-order, ensuring freshness as they take about 15 minutes to prepare. They are not pre-made dishes, which is excellent. They are very authentic, especially the fresh ribs and the generously filled, delicious shrimp dumplings. It's a highly recommended Cantonese restaurant. Due to time constraints, we couldn't try the authentic Thai cuisine on the 4th floor, which is supposedly prepared by Thai chefs. We'll definitely give it a try next time!
Overall, this trip was a fantastic experience; both the accommodation and dining were very enjoyable. We heard the hotel has been open for 10 years. The 22nd-floor Chinese restaurant was indeed busy, and the food quality and service were excellent. We even had to queue when we arrived at 12 PM, so business was truly booming – it was impressive. I suggest those who want to try it go a bit earlier; they said it's less crowded before 11 AM. Highly recommended!
