We were so glad we chose this guesthouse! The entire check-in process was incredibly smooth and made us feel instantly at ease.
**Regarding the environment:** The place itself was immaculately clean and tidy, boasting a modern decor. The bedding was wonderfully soft and comfortable, guaranteeing a fantastic night's sleep.
**As for the service:** The front desk staff were excellent! They proactively sent detailed check-in instructions which were incredibly practical and helpful. Whenever we had questions, their responses were always prompt. They even paid attention to small details, like noticing we'd bought water and then kindly providing us with extra bottles.
**Location-wise:** It's perfectly situated right next to the famous Zhongshan Road Pedestrian Street, making exploration incredibly convenient.
**In summary:** This was an absolutely flawless experience! I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone visiting, and we will definitely be looking to stay here again if the opportunity arises.

Choosing Ruiyi for our 3-day, 2-night trip to Xiamen was absolutely the right decision.
1. **Location:** The hotel boasts an excellent location, being very close to Ba Shi Market and Zhongshan Road. It offers direct sea views of Gulangyu Island and is just a 10-minute walk to the subway station.
2. **Rooms:** Our 50 sqm room was spacious and thoughtfully designed with clearly defined areas. The facilities were new, comprehensive, and well-maintained â thankfully, none of the issues rumored online were present.
3. **Service:** The service was top-notch. Upon check-in, a lovely staff member guided us to our room and ensured everything was to our liking, making us feel completely at home. Late one night, returning to the hotel, I saw a manager diligently checking room cards in the elevator â this attention to detail truly made us feel secure. And upon departure, a kind staff member at the entrance helped load our luggage into the car, a thoughtful touch that was much appreciated.
While our overall travel experience in Xiamen wasn't extraordinary, the hotel truly exceeded expectations. I would highly recommend Ruiyi Grand Hotel to everyone I know.

I especially want to commend Ms. Yvette. Her professionalism and genuine hospitality are a true asset to the hotel. She proactively shared her WeChat contact, checking in daily to ensure everything was going smoothly, and met all our needs with a positive attitude.
Our celebration was made truly special thanks to her efforts. Even though I had already booked a cake, Yvette went above and beyond. When we were tired and needed to change the delivery time, she surprisingly went out of her way to personally arrange for another cake at her own expense, delivering it the night before our departure to ensure we could still have our celebration. This 'above and beyond' service truly exemplifies genuine hospitality and a high level of responsibility; this gesture was unforgettable.
Additionally, the housekeeping staff on the seventh floor also left a lasting impression. Although we didn't catch her name, we met her every morning. She always greeted us with a smile, initiated friendly conversations, and thoughtfully asked if we needed any assistance.
We look forward to staying at your hotel again in the future.

This hotel is located right next door to Xingleen Bay Hotel; I decided to try it out for a different experience.
The area by the sea is quite undeveloped, but if you walk about 500 meters in the other direction, you'll find dining options.
They offer a free shuttle service to Xiamen North Railway Station, which is a great convenience.
Breakfast: There was a decent variety of choices, and it was quite acceptable.
**Facilities:**
The gym is a bit small, but the outdoor swimming pool is lovely.
The hot spring is right next to the pool and isn't very large. It was my first time soaking in a hot spring that overlooks a road, which felt a bit unusual.
**Cleanliness:**
Clean.
**Ambiance/Environment:**
The lobby is undeniably grand, but it leans towards a somewhat gaudy, nouveau riche aesthetic. It almost feels like an attempt to mimic Macau's decor, but the overall scale and attention to detail don't quite meet the mark. However, the rooms themselves are quite elegant and tastefully decorated.
**Service:**
1. The staff have an excellent service attitude.
2. A minor point: access to the hot spring is limited to a single use.
3. Furthermore, much of the information displayed on public signs about hotel operations and timings is inconsistent with reality. My advice is always to call the front desk for the most accurate operating hours.

We had an unforgettable time in Xiamen during the Dragon Boat Festival, made even better by our stay at the Fenghwei Lanxi Seaview Hotel for two nights.
The hotelâs location was extremely convenient, with popular attractions like Gulangyu Island just a short distance away. The surrounding area offered fantastic restaurants and a stunning coastline, making our stay both enjoyable and hassle-free.
Our room was cozy, clean, and surprisingly welcomingâdespite its compact size, it had a warm, homely feel. The breathtaking view, incredibly comfortable bed, and the attentive cleaning staff all contributed to a truly satisfying experience.
Overall, we were thoroughly impressed and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Xiamen!
I stayed for three days in July. The overall feeling was much more than expected. After all, I have lived in many homestays with my baby. This one can be regarded as the best stay experience. The room was very clean and the boss was super nice. In the evening, I also asked if I could set off fireworks. The boss said yes, and the boss had to help clean up after the release. Although breakfast is simple, it tastes very good. The children love to eat the blood glutinous rice bean paste early. The boss got up early the next day to buy more for the children, but unfortunately there is no, the boss bought steamed dumplings, really hard. The beach is downstairs in the homestay, you can catch the sea, it is very convenient.

Qishang Rongshe·Twelve Hours Travel Notes
đFirst encounter·Peace of mind journey
For my first solo trip in 2025, I chose Qishang Rongshe. Before departure, the hotel had arranged a three-day itinerary for me. The thoughtful details made me, a Taurus, feel at ease.
When I arrived, the sun was shining and the air was fresh, as if I had stepped into another time and space. Butler Qi Chu took me to the trail in the back mountain, picking flowers and plants as materials for rubbings. The breath was full of natural breath, and I bid farewell to the hustle and bustle of the city for a short time and just enjoyed the present.
đšArchitecture·Watching the century-old banyan tree
The building of Qishang Rongshe is an old building from 1920, which has been revitalized and renewed. The hotel's logo is a century-old banyan tree, with intertwined roots and symbiotic dependence with the building, which is also the origin of the hotel logo. There are only 9 guest rooms in the entire space, each of which is equipped with a bathtub and a meditation chair, which is very suitable for a person's healing journey.
The morning light shines into the room through the wooden window lattices, and the air is filled with the warm scent of wood, which makes people unconsciously slow down their breathing and immerse themselves in it.
đ” Time·Zen Tea
In Qishang Rongshe, time seems to flow very slowly. Practice Baduanjin in the morning, copy scriptures at sunset, and stroll in the mountains when the weather is fine, breathing the smell of the mountains and forests. In addition to the natural experience, the local culture of the hotel is also full of charm.
The hotel's refreshments are provided by Jinlan Bakery on Gulangyu Island, which is purchased daily to ensure freshness. Before leaving, I bought a few boxes as souvenirs to bring this âZenâ back to daily life.
[Color R] Taste buds·Surprise of shiso flavor
The dual enjoyment of vision and taste is a highlight of Qishang Rongshe.
For breakfast, the butler will deliver the meal to the dining table in the hotel corridor. The moment the curtains are opened, a new day officially begins. For dinner, I chose Haihai Restaurant. Every dish is embellished with shiso, and I even tasted the Fujian specialty lunch fish. At first I thought the price was a bit high, but after eating, I felt that this meal, both in terms of taste and experience, was the most unforgettable meal in my three days in Gulangyu.
[Rainbow R] Accident·Stunning in Light and Shadow
There is a small exhibition space hidden behind the bookstore in the hotel. This exhibition is called âFatâ.
During the day, I was attracted by the material and tension of the exhibits, but when I visited again at night, I was shocked by the unexpected beauty. The light was projected on the wall through the gaps in the works, and one of the shadows was similar to the whiskers of the banyan tree in front of the hotel. The ingenuity of the artist and curator made me resonate more deeply with this space at this moment.
Conclusion·The journey is not over
The three days in Qishang Rongshe are like a redefinition of time. Here, people and nature, history and the present, interweave a flowing poetry.
On the way back, my body and mind were already relaxed. This journey is not only a journey, but also a healing.
Looking forward to returning next time to continue the unfinished travel time.

CCressidaxiaomai2025.09.01
The hotel is situated right next to Zengcuo'an and is also very close to Music Plaza. However, getting in and out of the hotel is quite inconvenient. You have to take a long detour because there's a large, empty parking lot directly in front, but no direct pedestrian access. This makes walking to and from the hotel extremely inconvenient.
As a newly opened hotel, its overall hardware facilities are quite subpar compared to other properties launched around the same time. It might even fall short of budget-friendly chains like Atour or Holiday Inn Express. For instance, the toilets aren't smart, and the TVs don't offer screen casting, which is a major drawback for younger guests. I'm really unclear about the hotel's target audience or positioning.
Getting back to the room package, despite the front desk claiming we received an upgrade, our room on the second floor was still a less desirable one, completely lacking any sea view and located in a separate building. The elevator situation was also inconvenient; you had to switch elevators just to reach the pool. Furthermore, the staircase leading to the pool was quite convoluted, although the view from the top was admittedly nice. Overall, the hotel's internal layout and guest flow design are genuinely unreasonable.
In conclusion, unless you have a strong specific need for the Zengcuo'an location, I would recommend looking into other hotels. Overall, this hotel simply doesn't meet Hyatt standards, not by a long shot, considering all its aspects. At this price point, you'd be much better off choosing a hotel near Huangcuo Beach.

JJinbaotuoleiChoosing this hotel for our Xiamen trip was truly an excellent decision. Its location is absolutely perfect, serving as an ideal starting point for exploring the city's highlights. Whether it was taking a ferry from the bustling ferry terminal to Gulangyu Island, strolling along the Nanyang-style Zhongshan Road in search of local delicacies, or visiting the lush Botanical Garden, everything was conveniently and quickly accessible, saving us a lot of precious travel time.
The hotel service was another major highlight of our trip, truly embodying the phrase 'a home away from home'. From the moment we stepped into the lobby, the staff greeted us with genuine smiles and a warm, friendly demeanor. Upon seeing us with luggage, a concierge proactively came forward to enthusiastically and professionally assist with carrying it. This thoughtful attention to detail made us feel incredibly welcome.
The weather was also on our side; during our days in Xiamen, we enjoyed almost consistently clear blue skies with fluffy white clouds. Bright sunshine during the day, and glittering lights at night. Looking out from our hotel room or nearby elevated spots, Xiamen's night view was stunningly beautiful, adding a romantic touch to our journey.
Thanks to the convenient location, attentive service, and wonderful weather, our trip to Xiamen was filled with relaxation and joy, leaving us with many warm and beautiful memories.

GGuest UserDuring this trip to Xiamen, we stayed at three hotels, and my child absolutely loved The Portman the most. I would also highly recommend it.
Here's why: Qixing Bay boasts a beautiful seascape with fewer crowds. You can probably catch both sunrise and sunset here (though we didn't specifically try). The hotel's direct access to the beach, just across the road, is incredibly convenient. At low tide, you can go beachcombing â there were plenty of hermit crabs, razor clams, and balloon-shaped ghost crabs. We caught some and then released them all. The coastal road alongside the beach is great for cycling, or you can rent an e-bike to enjoy the ocean views. In the evenings, you might even stumble upon some street vendors or activities. It's tranquil and scenic during the day, lively but not noisy at night â a stark contrast to the busy Huandao Road, which is constantly packed with people and traffic.
As for the hotel itself, it's sprawling and stunning. Every corner offers a picturesque spot, perfect for taking photos. The rooms are generously sized with high ceilings, creating a very spacious feel. If you opt for a sea-view room, the ocean vista is expansive and unobstructed, unlike some hotels where 'sea view' means straining to glimpse a distant, hazy ocean. The hotel also boasts comprehensive facilities, including a swimming pool, a water park, and a kids' club â everything you need. It's absolutely perfect for a relaxing three or four-day 'staycation' with children.
The staff members are generally friendly and professional. In particular, the pool attendants are very responsible and meticulous, strictly managing the area. They test and change the water daily, and the water quality was indeed much cleaner than at the state-owned hotel we stayed at previously. The hotel is conveniently located, about a 20-minute drive from Xiamen North Station and Jimei University Town.
I heard there are several breakfast venues, but we only tried the French restaurant. The selection wasn't huge, but the quality was excellent. They also offered local specialties like Shacha noodles, peanut soup, and Mianxian paste â a 'quality over quantity' approach, I'd say. Plus, kids under 1.2 meters eat for free.
The only minor drawback was that due to how busy the hotel was during our stay, there were some inevitable oversights in room cleaning. However, I personally found this understandable. As long as you don't have excessively strict hygiene requirements, it should be acceptable.
After two nights, my child declared that they want to come to Xiamen again next time, specifically insisting on staying at The Portman.
JJogger91Okay, but much better options exist if you have the money and book in advance.
First of all, its a separate class of hotel situated within the very same Marriot (which is higher end), so consider this a class below the actual Marriot. The exit is separate, and leads mostly to nowhere, and you will most likely enter the real Marriot part of the building at first, but thankfully staff knows this is a common mistake and leads you through a small hallway of about 200m to the other reception where you will be greeted by just as professional staff.
They don't include any toiletries but will deliver them swiftly to the room door if you need any, I guess its ecological, in their mind, but practically..ultimately pointless and saves no one's time and energy.
The room itself is a bit of a step down from regular 4* chain hotels - the size, the leather on the furniture is torn and worn a bit, and it shows its age and class. There are similarly priced competitors within the same 1-2km range, who do a much better job, plus better view, for a few bucks more. It should be priced a bit lower in order to be a good deal and vibe for the money. Ultimately an okay hotel, no one will be disappointed, but the value to me just isn't there, and the real Marriot is in the same building, but you are getting the cheaper version of it, watered down.
TTvemiw9This vacation at the Xiamen Hacang Roxen Seaview Hualuxe Hotel completely won me over! The sea view from the room was simply breathtaking. The vast, endless ocean stretched out before me, its azure waters shimmering, meeting the sky in the far distance. This incredible scenery alone made the room price entirely worthwhile. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows gave the whole space an open, bright feel. Lying in bed, with the sunlight bathing me, every moment was pure bliss. The sea view experience here was truly next-level!
XXieshoutongchengyangDuring our week-long trip to Xiamen, we chose to go sailing in Wuyuan Bay and stayed at the Wyndham. A special thanks to our butler, Annie, for her warm hospitality. She was incredibly helpful, providing her WeChat so we could ask questions and get assistance anytime. Seeing that we were two adults and two children, the hotel proactively upgraded our room. The room was beautiful and boasted a stunning sea view. The kids were absolutely thrilled the moment they stepped inside! We had a very comfortable night's sleep, as the bedding was wonderfully cozy. It was a shame the weather was overcast; otherwise, we could have watched the sunrise right from our bed.
LLuĂs T. PiresPositive: The hotel is spacious, though itâs starting to show signs of age. Nonetheless, it is well-maintained and clean. The room was large and comfortable, with the staff ensuring it remained tidy throughout our stay. Its location, about 20-30 minutes from central Xiamen, makes it convenient for accessing various parts of the city. The hotel offers two large swimming pools, and the locker rooms are equipped with both dry and wet saunas. The staff were generally friendly.
Negative: The exterior pool area lacks sufficient seating, making it difficult to relax by the pool, which is a significant drawback if youâre there for a vacation. The hotelâs considerable size is a downside, with only one central set of elevators, leading to long and tiresome walks down the corridors. Moreover, there are no power outlets on one side of the bed, nor are there any USB outlets. The area surrounding the hotel is rather dull, with little to offer beyond a shopping mall, a wharf, and a small stretch of beach.
General: While we had a comfortable stay, this hotel is not ideal for a vacation. Itâs recommended only if you specifically need to be in that location.

MM307140****The accommodation experience is very good, the room is very stylish and comfortable, and the service attitude is also very good!
I stayed directly in one of the attractions on the island, with a wide view and an extraordinary experience.
The breakfast is great, and there are porridge and side dishes, which are very comfortable to eat, and the combination is balanced and nutritious~
The brother who helped carry the luggage was very handsome and patiently helped to plan and introduce the travel route; there was also a friendly brother at the front desk; and a very reliable boss...
Great travel experience!
(It was mainly rainy when I went there, but there was also a different atmosphere)
MMiriamZHad a great family vacation stay at Linghai celebrated my sonâs birthday in last minute plan with hotel staff recommendation and help. Hotel located about 15 mins walk from ferry station, but definitely worth for the view. Staffs and services are professional, great overall experience including the restaurants hotel thoughtfully recommended to guests for food safety and not getting tourist scams. Highly recommend the place, and would love to go back!
GGuest UserGreat atmosphere, friendly service.
I stayed in this hotel for a short trip. The reception lady was friendly, the bar in the lobby is beautiful and they had some singing performers there on Sunday evening, which felt really special and welcoming.
The carpet and walls in the hallways need renovation and an AC in that area would be nice. My room was quite far away from the elevator, which was quite inconvenient.
Unfortunately, the adults pool wasnât âworkingâ when I wanted to use it and the sauna was out of service as well. Other than that, I really enjoyed my stay.
