The hotel itself is quite nice, with good facilities and spacious rooms, and the service is top-notch. The breakfast spread is extensive, though the only minor drawback is that they're a bit slow to replenish items. This would be my first choice for hotels in Xiamen.

Our flight landed at 11:50 PM, and the owner provided a free pickup, which was incredibly good service! When the car pulled into the parking lot, it looked a bit old, which made me a little uneasy at first. However, once we arrived at the guesthouse, the room was spotless and tidy, equipped with a washing machine and air conditioning. Most importantly, disposable bath towels and hand towels were provided, which is excellent for this price point. My partner and I were so tired that we went straight to sleep after getting to the room. The photos were taken after we woke up the next day, so they might look a bit messy! The building itself looks a little dated, but there's a supermarket and dining options on the ground floor, open from 6 AM until midnight or even 1 AM, so you won't go hungry upon arrival. It's only a ten-minute taxi ride to a food street – I've forgotten its name, but the owner recommended it, and we went there the next morning. Our Didi driver told us many shops there are open all night. If you don't feel like venturing out, the ground floor shops are convenient; otherwise, the food street is a great option for meals. We heard the beach is just a five-minute walk from the guesthouse building, but being late risers and needing to catch our flight, we didn't get a chance to go. We'll definitely come back next time we have the opportunity!

This is super convenient, especially when returning from Gulangyu by ferry at night as it docks right here. Secondly, the decor is a refined retro style, offering a unique visual aesthetic that I absolutely loved. The attention to detail was excellent: they provided a fruit platter, afternoon tea, and drinks in the mini-fridge. There was even a special tea set, and I found a small pair of scissors in the drawer, which was perfect for snipping off tags after shopping—a really thoughtful touch. I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Xiamen.

Stayed here again on my way back. The hotel is only 10 minutes from the airport, quiet and comfortable. They even called to remind me about the shuttle service. The owner provides free airport pickup/drop-off and was very friendly – he even dropped us at Wanshou subway when available (ask in advance). Located just a 5-minute walk from a beach, with a few small restaurants and a mini-mart nearby, perfect for breakfast. Highly convenient for an overnight airport stop.”

You could also make your own sandwiches, with a rich variety of both Chinese and Western options. After a hearty meal, we enjoyed a stroll through the tropical gardens, filled with palm trees, and took a ride on the park's mini-train. It truly felt like a vacation, making it the top hotel choice for a trip to Changle.
