Oh dear Miss [Name], please forgive me for not remembering your name. Thank you for the room upgrade and for proactively arranging breakfast for me. Every staff member I encountered, whether it was 1 or 2 AM or early in the morning, always greeted me with a sunny smile, making my day feel very comfortable. The only minor issue was being told that fruit would be delivered to my room around 2 or 3 PM. I had been out all night and returned to the hotel hungry, thinking I had fruit in the room, so I didn't bring anything back with me, and it turned out... 😂

Full marks, highly recommended! This hidden gem of a hotel truly impressed me with the owner's attentiveness! This stay far exceeded my expectations, and I absolutely have to praise this place! First off, the cleanliness was impeccable. As soon as I entered the room, it felt fresh and comfortable. The bedsheets and duvet covers were spotless, odorless, and soft to the touch. The toilet and shower glass in the bathroom were sparkling clean with no water stains, and I felt completely at ease walking barefoot on the floor. What truly warmed my heart was the owner's service. From check-in, they greeted me warmly, proactively recommended nearby restaurants and attractions, and were smiling throughout, instantly dispelling my travel fatigue. When a small issue arose in the room, I contacted the owner, and they personally rushed over immediately, quickly and efficiently resolving the problem. They even kept checking if it had affected my stay – that level of responsibility is truly rare. There was no perfunctoriness or delay throughout my stay; you can really feel that the owner genuinely cares for every guest. Whether for leisure or business, I highly recommend this place. I'll definitely choose it again next time I'm in town!

IMAY Etiquette - Tidal Twilight Photography: A big shout-out to the photographer! Their posing guidance was excellent, and we shot in many different locations. The retouched photos were delivered super fast, which is fantastic compared to places that take two or three days just to let you choose your pictures and another week to deliver the retouches. I posted them on my social media right away! The photographer clearly has their own unique style and vision. The sea-view room was great, for just over a hundred yuan, you get a huge floor-to-ceiling window overlooking Gulangyu. The indoor space is incredibly large, and there's also a big common living room, kitchen, and laundry room. It's a bit like an apartment I stayed in Australia, but much larger. The housekeeper's responses were very prompt, thoughtful, and thorough. This was my first time staying in a hotel without a front desk, and it was a really different experience. I'll definitely stay here again next time and recommend it to my friends.

The hotel's location is strategic, but the hotel address must be carefully considered, because it is on the 20th floor. The reference point is the Mercure Hotel, the building next to it goes up to elevator 20. The hotel staff are very nice, helping when I left my phone in the taxi. They helped contact the police and used their phones many times and are also very caring and helpful.

The location of Xiamen Ruiyi Hotel is absolutely stunning! You can see a panoramic view of Gulangyu Island right from your window. The morning sun sparkling on the sea and the evening glow painting the sky red make every moment a truly therapeutic scene. A few minutes' walk downstairs takes you to Zhongshan Road for shopping and dining, and the ferry terminal to Gulangyu Island is also super close, making getting around a breeze. The room facilities are very thoughtful; the bedding is soft and comfortable, providing a very relaxing stay. There's plenty of space for two people to sleep without disturbing each other!

Even though December is considered the off-season in Xiamen, hotel prices remained quite high. I booked a suite, which was only 58 square meters. Since I was traveling with my parents, I had an extra bed added to the living room for convenience. The added bed was very comfortable, with a thick mattress. The total cost ended up being more than two standard rooms. The decor has a unique charm, and this hotel even boasts Xiamen's first elevator, with Roman numeral displays. As for service, it didn't quite match the warmth you'd expect from an international five-star hotel. The doorman was often absent from the main entrance, and the butler's response time was quite slow. For example, I asked for some vinegar at breakfast and it never arrived, even by the time we finished eating. In terms of hygiene, the closet had a noticeable amount of dust. The showerhead in the bathroom was broken and sprayed water everywhere, and the seal on the glass door was also damaged and hadn't been repaired. For a hotel that was only renovated a year ago, the maintenance is quite poor. Overall, the location is unbeatable, but the service and facilities don't justify the price.

The room is very good and suitable for family travel. It is clean and hygienic. The beach is opposite the window and the location is excellent. The most important thing is that the boss is very enthusiastic. After picking us up at the airport, he first settled us in, then took us to the town for delicious food and treated us to ice rice. Before leaving, he told us to contact him to pick us up after shopping and eating. I like this beautiful city and this enthusiastic boss. I will choose this next time I come.

I'll definitely be back! From the window, you can see Xiamen's iconic Twin Towers, and the beautiful scenery of Gulangyu Island across the water is all within view.
