⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5‑Star Review: Pacific Hotel Cairns We had an excellent stay at Pacific Hotel Cairns. Max at the front desk was outstanding—warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful from the moment we arrived. Mila was also wonderful and made us feel very welcome. Our room was clean, spacious, and brightly lit, with a comfortable layout and a balcony that opened to lovely views. The location couldn’t be better: easy walking distance to major tour departure points, the Esplanade, and many great restaurants. The convenience of a self‑service laundry room was another big plus during our travels. Overall, this hotel delivered comfort, convenience, and exceptional service. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Cairns.

I have been coming to The Chateau for yrs. New management now but I feel the place was run better previously. Especially with maintaining the facilities like the jakoozi and spa. Room was fine, broken lamp shade and everything so out dated they just don't wish to change anything but make money off it? However, perfect lil hotel right on the beach, immaculate location with all at your feet to see at Surfers. Great pool, gaming room, sauna and spa, jakoozi the Best in GC! From the heating to correct bubble levels it's been my go to. But the plumbing or sewerage was off. Water smelt and my friend visiting was grosed out sadly taking a shower right away. Fix this!

The room is spacious. You can see a stunning ocean view from the room; it's beautiful on a sunny day. Perfect for a vacation.

Excellent place for stay! Super friendly and generous staff especially Elaine at the front. The moment we checked in she was so helpful and very respectful in communication. This is like home feeling and advertisement doesn’t elaborate everything.. it’s beyond that comfort. Only thing was noise due to building at back property and clearly communicated.. it didn’t affect us as at all as Saturday we were mostly out exploring and late afternoon onwards till Monday.. full comfort. Peeps on going project will be finished soon.. highly recommend as close to beaches… and proime location. We had awesome view on our window. Thanks Team, see you again next with my family. Everything about this hotel is exceptional. The only downside was the room that I was given was on the top floor and the noise from either some sort of pump or the outside unit of the air condition was so overwhelming that I couldn't sleep well all night.

Great location and secure no need at ease breakfast is yum coffee is hot can sit back and relax and enjoy the weekend and they have it covered the rest of your stay . Thanks guys 10/10 Best part I loved was the balcony room 1502 pretty sure because this is right in the 0ath of fresh air . And room service quick and affordable.

This is our second time to this hotel and we loved it just as much as the first time. It has been four years since the last time, however in the area has grown significantly. But we think this is a good thing or in a good way. This is turned out to be a great central location with lots of restaurants and a nice public lagoon swimming pool area with lifeguards and beach swimming with lifeguards just steps away from the hotel. The staff is friendly and helpful. Have a great secure parking garage underneath the building and the roads are clean very nice and spacious with a large sofa couch TV in kitchen. We would most definitely stay again if we come back to the area.

After a long day of driving, i arrived at the place because i just needing a place to sleep for the night. It’s basic, as expected, but at least it was clean. The room was small and plain, with just the essentials—a bed, a desk, with shared bathroom. It wasn’t particularly comfortable, and the amenities were minimal, but it served its purpose as a quick stopover. The staff was polite enough, and while it’s not somewhere we’d stay for more than one night, it worked for what we needed: a budget-friendly, no-frills place to rest before hitting the road again.

Great hotel near the beach in Mackay. Comfortable stay with a great breakfast, a little far from Mackay city if you don't have your own transport, but the views are beautiful.

A decent five-star hotel. The room was spacious and even had a balcony, perfect for enjoying the refreshing sea breeze. It's located right in the city center, making it convenient to get anywhere – Cairns itself is quite small, so you can easily walk to most places. A taxi from the airport to the hotel was around 25 AUD.
