Our stay at the Arcadia Hotel was truly idyllic and met our expectations. This resort is located on a beautiful, private island called Pandanan, opposite Timba Timba Island. Its location is wonderful. The hotel's facilities and decor are very beautiful, luxurious and white. It has a very large infinity pool where you can enjoy the view of Timba Timba Island. We've read some negative comments about the buffet, but for us, it was truly incredible for its variety and quality. Even more so considering the hotel is on a remote island. The kitchen staff, and especially the cook, is a talented and very pleasant gentleman. Additionally, the stay includes a day trip to an island, snorkeling, and a boat ride to watch the sunset. The only negative point I consider is that the island's shores are littered with bottles and other plastic products, which is truly shocking and sad. I think whether the trash comes from another island or not, they should definitely take this into account and have the staff clean up the beach. Thank you very much!

I had a truly wonderful stay at this hotel in Semporna! The highlight was definitely the breathtaking sea view from my room. The room was clean, cozy, and well-maintained, with all the basic amenities provided. The staff were friendly, helpful, and always ready with a smile, making me feel welcomed throughout my stay. I also appreciated the convenient location, with easy access to the jetty and nearby eateries. I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The check-in process was smooth and easy, and the hotel itself is beautiful with clean and comfortable rooms. What made the experience even more special was the thoughtful service. they helped me arrange a birthday cake in advance and even gave me a free room upgrade. I truly appreciate the warm hospitality. Overall I enjoyed our stay in sky water villa. When I was booking I read the reviews also worried that they are a bit old, so that the houses might not be well maintained. But during my stay I feel like the houses are used but still in okay manner. The best thing for this hotel is that I think they have the best house reef, and you can see turtles at night from your balcany. I went snorkling a few times during my stay I saw quite a few clown fish aka nemo and many fishes and even a sea eel one day. They also provide “galss” kayak which you can watch sunset on it. And the best thing they offer is that the tours you book with the villa starts around 10 am, you can just get ready and wait in your room, and when the boat is here the staff will get you from your room, and you’ll finish the tour around 3-4 pm which is the afternoon tea time at the villa. Instead of in the town area you need wake up early and meet and wait at the jetty around 8:15 am . And power supply is stable just may be ocassion blackout but it would turn back on very soon. However I do think they need to clean their air con as the one in our room seems very dusty, we had to clean the filter ourselves, they were very dusty. And during the afternoon coz our villa faces the sunset direction the air con feels a bit not strong enough. And the aircon outer unit is installed right at the room’s wall so it’s a little bit noisy, I’d suggest why not just use a more powerful window unit instead. The food is so so, but it’s difficult to cater everyone’s preference for food. The hotel is not cheap and maybe not very cost effective compare to hotels in other places, but to be fair i think if you want to go to semporna, this might be a reasonable option as overall semporna and malaysia is very expensive for tourists. And i higly recommend to stay at least 2-3 nights instead of 1 night to fully enjoy and relax yourself.

The hotel front staff is friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is good. The sunset view from the rooftop is so beautiful. There are many useful stores such as restaurants and marts near the hotel, so it is convenient. It is very close to the airport, so it is convenient. If you pay for the deposit with your card at check-in, it cannot be canceled immediately at check-out, and it is a pity that it takes about two weeks. Most hotels cancel the card approval right away at check-out. I'm waiting for the deposit I paid with my credit card to be canceled properly.

It takes about 20 minutes to get there from the pier. You can go directly into the sea from the room. The water is very clear. You can see the sea as soon as you open the French window. You can also see starfish and fish around the water house, and small crabs on the wooden stairs. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included, and there are afternoon tea snacks in the afternoon. There are seafood, crabs, squids, shrimps and some blanched vegetables every night. The stay experience is not bad. Since it happened to be Christmas, I also caught up with the hotel's fireworks celebration! It is recommended to order deep diving directly from the store. The accompanying crew not only has good photography skills, but also gives deep diving photos and videos! ! Love it!

From picking us up at the airport to sending us back to the airport, he also sent us to Semporna town for a walk. We stayed for two nights and free pick-up. The meals were also very good. Every meal was seafood, chicken, meat and vegetables. There was a good combination. There was also watermelon. The staff was also very enthusiastic. The room standard was OK. There was definitely a gap with star hotels, but the scenery and entertainment could make up for it. The vacation was very good. It is highly recommended!
