Location near Waterfront. We booked seaview room great view of the sea & sunset. Our room is huge with kitchenette. Bathroom is huge too but cleanliness of the room is below par. There's oily stains on the main door that were never cleaned. We stayed 4 nights, the oily stains were still there when we left. For 4 stars hotel it's a shame the hotel cannot even provide a shampoo holder in the bathroom for guests. It was very troublesome to squat down every time to get the shampoo or shower gel when we shower. Also the drainage of the bathroom needs to be fixed. It smells terribly.

Good location - We stayed here only for 1 night before catching a morning flight after a trip to Manukan Island. It was about 15 mins from the airport and 6 mins from Sutera Harbour. We were able to check in early at about 1pm. It was a great location with the market and food stalls just in front of the hotel. There was also the night market just beside the hotel.
Club lounge - We enjoyed our time at the club lobby with unlimited alcoholic drinks from 5.30pm to 7.30pm. The service staff were very patient, welcoming, and attentive.
Room - we had the king room with City view. The room was spacious and clean. While it was stated city view, we were able to have a view of the harbour and Mt Kinabalu at the far distance.

Hyatt Centric truly impressed! Upon arrival, the staff were incredibly welcoming, especially the young man from the baggage team. He not only helped with our luggage and stored it for us but also informed us we could check in at 1 PM (the usual check-in time is 3 PM), which was a fantastic perk.
The hotel is centrally located, right across from a large shopping mall. Nearby, there are popular eateries like Fool Yuen and Xin Feng Bak Kut Teh, along with many restaurants catering to Chinese palates, and Sabah souvenir shops.
The breakfast was extensive, offering a wide variety of options. I especially loved having breakfast in the morning with views of the sea and a clear blue sky.
A taxi ride to Tanjung Aru during peak hours cost 35 RMB due to traffic congestion, but it was still convenient, and we even managed to check out the cultural wall.
I would definitely choose this hotel again when visiting Kota Kinabalu.
Good, good, good, very good! I always thought that Semporna only had island hopping, sea resorts and town homestays. Unexpectedly, I never expected that I would live in a forest resort villa in Semporna, which was a large environment in minutes! I lived in the real nature in a second, the stilt wooden house unique to Malaysia, each room is large, clean, tidy and comfortable, and the boss said that all the best local mahogany materials in Malaysia were used! Speaking of the boss lady, I have to praise her! The boss lady is Chinese, enthusiastic, meticulous and meticulous! When you arrange your accommodation, you will set up a butler group dedicated to serving you, which will not only solve any problems for you, but also enthusiastically help you with eating, drinking and having fun in town, and help you arrange sea and other entertainment projects in town. More importantly, when you go out for island hopping, she will distribute a towel cape customized exclusively for the resort to each guest, which is quick-drying and sun-proof, so that you will not come back wet and cause a cold, meticulous and caring! When we checked in that day, we really had nothing to do in the afternoon, so the lady boss arranged a unique mangrove firefly tour for us! This is the first time I have seen groups of fireflies since I was a child. They are so beautiful. I also saw the Malaysian national treasure proboscis monkey 🐒, and experienced the ATV jungle adventure, which showed us another different beauty of Semporna! My girlfriend's hand-painted painting was done for free in the mangroves. In Kuala Lumpur, the minimum starting price for a painting is 50 Malaysian ringgits. In this attraction, it is actually: free! Free! Free! Thank you very much to the lady boss for bringing us an unforgettable journey! Finally, I want to say from the bottom of my heart: Chinese people don't cheat Chinese people ☺️☺️ Baltic Holiday Villa, sincerely recommended!
Facilities: very good, new and avant-garde
Hygiene: clean, tidy and comfortable
Environment: large natural beauty in minutes
Service: All service staff are super good, Chinese communication is barrier-free, the lady boss is meticulous, caring and meticulous!

Real review, checked out on August 19th.
Pros: 1. Great location, perfect for the city walk.
2. Excellent service from the host and housekeeper. Proactively addressed any issues and responded promptly to messages.
3. Two bedrooms and one living room, perfect for two adults and two children.
Cons: Constant 24/7 noise. This apartment is right next to the elevator of the neighboring hotel. The elevator goes up and down, doors open and close, and the rumbling noise is constant. If you can't stand noise, be careful about booking this room. I happened to be taking melatonin with me, otherwise I wouldn't know how I would have gotten through those few nights...
The noise isn't the host's fault. They've actively tried to communicate with the neighboring hotel, but to no avail, so that's it.
Semporna is really the king of value for money. I still prefer Xiguan after visiting so many islands! It's so beautiful to go out to sea. I will come again next time! The hotel service is also very good. There is also a dock car to pick up and drop off. The service is also good. The key point is that the room here is clean and the environment is very comfortable. Next time I will invite more friends and family to come together. It is really suitable for vacation! !

Our room was spacious, comfortable, and spotlessly clean, offering fantastic sea and sunset views right from the window! The hotel also boasts an infinity pool on the rooftop. Spending the evening up there, feeling the gentle sea breeze and watching the sunset, was absolutely heavenly! Now THAT's what I call a true holiday! I'm already looking forward to my next trip to Kota Kinabalu and would definitely stay here again!
It was a nice short getaway place to escape from the busy city life.
As usual, we checked in and started exploring. The beach was beautiful, the sand was super white and clean, and we even got to try the ATV ride, which was really fun!
The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
For cleanliness, it was okay it’s a beach after all, so it’s not surprising if there’s a bit of sand in the room. Nothing major though.
The highlight for me was definitely the sunset. The sunset was absolutely breathtaking right in the middle of the sea.
Overall, it was a really good experience perfect for a quick escape and some peace of mind. ❤️✨🌸
This water house was a little unexpectedly satisfying to me. It was very clean and the facilities were well maintained. The manager was a Chinese guy who spoke Mandarin very well and was very talkative. Judging from the comprehensive indicators, it is worth recommending!
One of our best experience. Best part about Manukan Sutera lodge
1) very helpful and friendly staff.
2) i booked 2 rooms. They gave me adjoining room. Super helpful for family with kids.
3) very spacious rooms.
4) sunset viewpoint is a big plus. U get the see the beautiful sunset. But have to walk 1.5km to and another 1.5km back.
5) private beach is helpful for guests so that we don't have to share the public beach with the rest of the visitors. U get to see more fish and corals because fewer tourists to scare away the fish
6) free rental snorkeling equipment.
7) delicious and sumptuous breakfast.
8) easy boat transport. Free overnightt parking at sutera marina club.
Disadvantages
1) no data signal or wifi in the room.have to go to reception for wifi or data signal.
2) dinner is slightly more expensive because there is only 1 restaurant, so no other choices. But food is delicious, even for the fried rice (see pic)

MM834577****Booked for a friend – it was fantastic! Located right at Hai Feng Wharf, it's incredibly convenient and safe. No worries with kids, there were constant patrols, and we even saw police checking in and signing documents at night. Compared to other commercial areas, this location is remarkably safe! We didn't get back until 11:30 pm. The 24-hour Indian roti, 24-hour convenience store, and ATM are all downstairs – super convenient!!! The cleanliness was impeccable; you could walk barefoot into the rooms – our feet were spotless. In short, after a few days of exploring hotels and guesthouses in Semporna, this was the best value for money! We're definitely extending our stay for three more days!
