The hotel has been open for over a hundred years, and although the facilities are a bit old, they are still kept spotless. The elderly lady was very welcoming; seeing that we were checking in on a hot day, she quickly brought us bottled ice water. The hotel also has onsen (hot spring baths), with separate baths for men and women. One highlight is that you can choose an elegant cup to enjoy your tea or coffee for free. Another highlight is that you can take photos with the antique objects. A third highlight is that they offer a light breakfast of bread, juice, and salad in the morning. After enjoying the evening activities, it's less than 200 meters from the entrance of the Takeo Onsen building, making it a great accommodation option.

QqqdaughterThe location is on the hillside, and the bus station is a bit hard to walk up with luggage. The outdoor hot spring has been remodeled, and the male guests have no outdoor hot springs. The service is very good and the environment is very good.
GGuest UserDelightful and unique! Easy to find, with a warm welcome and a lovely, nostalgic vibe. The private onsen with wonderful water was a highlight. Our renovated room was beautifully appointed, with a private bath and lovely details. We also savored a spectacular feast of Saga beef and other fine traditional meals. The staff's genuine kindness, including arranging a special gift, was much appreciated. Highly recommend!
JJUOCHIAs soon as the hotel car parked, the service staff immediately came to pick up the luggage, checked in kindly, and felt at home. The hot springs are great and the sauna is great and the breakfast is delicious. Mocha coffee is delicious. The bed is also good to sleep on the pillows. The only soundproofing is not good. Outside the window on the first floor is the chimney. I smelled the smell of smoke all night. Even the pajamas smelled of smoke. Unfortunately, the windows were airtight and soundproofed. The door switch of the room was very loud. The overall feeling is still great and I like it very much.
MMary_Yao88I stayed for another three days and two nights. I really liked the hotel's hot springs. 1) The second floor of the hotel's main building is a hot spring for hotel guests, with indoor and outdoor pools. 2) Guests can also enjoy the hotel's hot springs, which are open to the public and are located in a building next to the hotel. Both options are very comfortable. At the same time, across the road from the hotel is the Tamahime Shrine, and towards Lawson from the hotel is Zuikoji Temple. You can visit it. Overall, it was a very happy experience. The only drawback is that the hotel's network needs to be improved. 👍
