Smile Hotel Shinsaibashi in Osaka truly exceeded my expectations, offering a five-star experience. The location is superb, right next to the bustling Shinsaibashi shopping district. Everything from shopping and dining to attractions is within easy reach, yet the hotel itself is a tranquil oasis, providing a peaceful escape from the city's hustle and bustle. The cleanliness was impeccable; every corner of the room was spotless, the bedding pristine, and the bathroom gleamed. The air was fresh and pleasant. While the facilities aren't luxurious, they are complete and practical. The comfortable mattress ensured a good night's sleep, and thoughtful amenities like air conditioning and an air purifier were much appreciated. The staff were a true highlight – everyone from the front desk to the housekeeping team was warm and friendly, always greeting guests with a smile, patiently answering questions, and even hand-drawing maps to help with directions, which made me feel incredibly welcome. In summary, with its convenient location, pristine environment, excellent facilities, and attentive service, this is an outstanding choice for anyone visiting Osaka. My only regret is that this was just a stopover for me, and I only stayed for one day before heading to Kyoto. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Osaka.

Great location and in Osaka. Our room was on the larger side for Japanese hotel rooms so that was an added bonus. The bathtub had a large window with a great view of the city! The option to do laundry while traveling with a toddler was a lifeline! Certainly would recommend to families traveling with small children.

The hotel is a 10-minute walk from the subway station and consists of two buildings: the main building and an annex. The rooms aren't huge, but they're a good size for hotels in the same price range. They offer 24-hour hot water, coffee, drinks, and a microwave for heating food, which is great. Free luggage storage is also available. There's a Chinese-speaking staff member at the front desk, so communication was seamless. Breakfast was decent too. The only downside, if I had to pick one, was the constant stream of tour groups. It's also just a 5-minute walk from the main shopping street in Shinsaibashi.

Had a really nice stay at Hotel Keihan Tenmabashi Ekimae. The place was clean and the location couldn’t be better—right across from the station, with loads of places to eat nearby and a shopping mall close by too.
Beds were comfy and towels were changed every day, which was great. Breakfast wasn’t amazing, so I’d suggest grabbing something nearby instead.
Overall, super convenient and I’d definitely stay here again 👍

Stayed 3 nights. Very accessible location, though about a 20+ minute walk from OCAT—carrying luggage was quite an experience 😄
Room was clean and felt like home. Breakfast was amazing. Wi-Fi was fast and reliable, which helped since I worked during my stay. Amenities are on the ground floor, and I appreciated the umbrellas they lend during rainy days.
The reception lighting is a bit dim, which may be part of the hotel’s design or ambiance.
Overall, a comfortable and pleasant stay. I will definitely stay here again when I visit Osaka. Thank you!

Very satisfied! The sun shining through the window was so warm. There's a supermarket downstairs with a good selection of items, and a 7-Eleven nearby which is really convenient. It's also pretty close to the subway. I'll definitely come back next time!
Very nice hotel close to KIX and JR station, with walking distance (less than 10 minutes) to Rinku Premium Outlet where many brand name shops offer, together with good restaurants. Nice sea view with airplanes landing on KIX. Front staffs are polite, helpful and communicate in Eny. The price is also reasonable. Very convenient to catch your early morning flight, as the hotel offers free shuttle bus service (less than 15 minutes) to Terminal 1 KIX.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort and convenience. One of its biggest strengths is the location—it’s situated in a very accessible area, close to key attractions, shops, and public transportation, making it easy to get around.
The cleanliness of the hotel was truly impressive. The housekeeping team clearly puts in great effort to ensure a pleasant environment for guests.
I also appreciated the thoughtful amenities, especially the availability of free coffee and drinking water. It’s a small touch, but it really adds to the overall experience and makes guests feel welcomed and cared for.
Another highlight was the seasonal decorations throughout the hotel. The festive decorations created a warm and inviting atmosphere, showing that the hotel pays attention to detail and strives to make each stay special.

📍 **Location**: Not bad and quite convenient. There’s a **Life supermarket** nearby, plus a **FamilyMart** right behind the hotel. A **7-Eleven** is just opposite, but you’ll need to cross the traffic light to get there.
🚇 **Metro access**: Do note that the nearest metro exit may be closed after 9 PM, so it’s better to head back earlier if you want to use that exit.
☕ **Amenities**: The hotel provides coffee, and during my stay they upgraded the machine to include **hot chocolate** which was really nice!
Overall, a comfortable stay with good convenience stores and essentials nearby.

Great hotel with spacious room and awesome amenities. Located in a really fancy part of Osaka so walking down the streets is kinda fun. Totally walkable to a lot of main city spots and train station nearby. Since a popular business hotel laundry rooms can get busy just an fyi

Great
EELIZABETH ZZThe room was clean and they offer free luggage storage before check-in and after check-out on the same day. Check-in and check-out are self-service. There's a communal bathroom, a dining area, a microwave, a water dispenser, and an ice machine. The room was quite spacious for me. The bathroom has a bathtub and a separate toilet. There are power outlets and USB ports by the bed. Other amenities in the room include a refrigerator, a kettle, a TV, a safe, and Wi-Fi. Someone comes to change the towels daily. I highly recommend it! It's conveniently located near Nipponbashi subway station, or you can even walk to Namba station. There's a 7-Eleven and restaurants right at the street entrance. I was very impressed! 💖
NNutchanonThe hotel is very spacious, about 15 minutes walk from Ishizugawa Station. The area around the hotel is quite dark at night, a bit scary, but there are restaurants, McDonald's, Lawson and 7-11. Walking near the station, there is a Family Mart. Under the station, there is a Watt100 shop where you can buy snacks and other necessities. There is also a bus near the station, so you can get out and see it right away. But I was a bit upset because I couldn't find a bicycle to rent around there, so I had to walk. The train to Namba takes about 30 minutes.
YYueyexiaomiThe room rate is high, and the facilities are of an old-fashioned style, but overall it is good, and everything is available.
Comes with breakfast and light meals (can be considered dinner or midnight snack, and comes with a free drink with alcohol)
Breakfast and dinner are ordered through the TV, and then the staff will deliver them to the room. You can refer to the pictures for what you ate these days.
We stayed for three days, and no waiter took the initiative to clean, change towels, or replenish supplies. I went to the service desk on the first floor to report that it needed to be cleaned, and an aunt on the first floor replied that it had not been cleaned. Well, but my colleague and I have booked it. She said that we can leave the key at the front desk and tell the time to come back, and there will be cleaning.
The tableware will not be collected after eating, nor will it be told how to deal with it.
In short, this service model and attitude vary from person to person, and the feeling is very bad. This is the worst service hotel I have stayed in Japan. If you don't want to receive Chinese people, don't sell to China, thank you.
