Very good hotel, right in the center of amifl, with panoramic sea view. There are bus stops when you go out, and you can reach all the small towns you go to. The maintenance of the hotel is okay, and the price/performance ratio is not too high. Traveling is very convenient. The breakfast is mediocre and not rich enough.

Facilities: There is a swimming pool, but it is not open in winter. For people on business trips, there is a lack of office desks and stools in the room, which is a bit inconvenient for office work. Hygienic: clean, the health staff is still very responsible. There is no bathtub and the shower room is very small. Environment: Not too far from the attractions and the city, quiet around, no Chinese restaurants around. Service: The front desk and restaurant staff are very welcoming.

Nice and clean hotel, the receptionist was very helpful, she recommended nice restaurants for us and also help us book the taxi whenever we need it, breakfast was simple but good, overall I fully recommend this hotel

The actual hotel is much better than the photos, the environment is elegant and pleasant, and the sunlight in the restaurant is beautiful. The pictures posted include breakfast and dinner, which are very good. It is also very close to Naples Airport. The hotel staff also helped to book a taxi to the airport for 10 minutes at a flat price of 20 euros. When I arrived at the site, I booked a standard room with two beds, but I was taken to the underground floor, the sunlight was not so good, and it was a family room with three beds. The staff said that the first floor and the underground floor are the same room type, but they are all full. However, there are rooms on the second floor with better views, and you can overlook the scenery of Naples, which costs 60 euros more. In the end, I had to add another 60 euros for a better environment, but I still have doubts. Fortunately, the service and environment are great, and the hotel has a big iron gate surrounding the yard, which feels very safe!

It's very clean, the hair dryer is a Dyson, and the details are well done. As soon as I entered, the air conditioner was turned on, and I felt like I was home.

We recently stayed at the Hotel Royal Continental in Naples from January 7 to January 9, 2025, and our overall experience was very positive. Location & Safety The hotel is located in one of the safest and most touristic areas of Naples, right on Via Partenope, facing the sea and Castel dell'Ovo. Naples, as a city, is still evolving into a true tourist destination. The city is making significant improvements to attract more visitors, and you can feel that transition happening. This particular area where the hotel is located feels very safe, thanks to continuous police presence. We saw officers patrolling on foot and by car at all hours of the day and night, which gave us peace of mind. The neighborhood is also filled with excellent restaurants offering a wide range of quality food at reasonable prices. Of course, not every place is great, but there are many good options within walking distance. Additionally, the historic center and most major tourist attractions are within walking distance from the hotel. You can take a leisurely stroll and reach the main sights in under an hour. Room & Comfort The seafront location of the hotel is outstanding. The view from our room was beautiful, and we loved opening the panoramic window to let in the fresh sea breeze in the morning and evening. It’s a wonderful way to start and end your day. The room itself was comfortable and well-maintained, with a level of luxury comparable to a 4-star European hotel. However, it's important to note that European hotel standards are different from those in the U.S.. By American standards, this hotel would be closer to a 3-star property. Despite this, the housekeeping staff did a great job cleaning the room daily and replacing towels. Service & Atmosphere The hotel staff is professional and polite, but interactions felt a bit robotic and mechanical. It seemed like they were following routines rather than making genuine connections with guests. That said, room cleanliness was good, and we appreciated the attention to detail in that regard. One thing that stood out is the hotel’s nostalgic 1950s vibe. The hotel seems proud of its mid-century charm, which they promote through signs and advertisements around the property. If you enjoy that type of retro atmosphere, you’ll appreciate this hotel. Breakfast Experience The breakfast at the hotel was excellent. The dining room overlooks the sea, which makes for a lovely breakfast setting. There are several breakfast stations with a wide variety of options, and the food quality was great. Waiters clean the tables and take care of guests throughout breakfast service, which adds a nice touch. We were very satisfied with the overall breakfast experience. Final Thoughts Overall, Hotel Royal Continental is a solid choice for staying in Naples. The location is its biggest strength, offering stunning views, proximity to restaurants, and easy access to the historic center. it provides a comfortable and memorable experience with beautiful sea views and a nostalgic atmosphere. Would we stay here again? Yes, for the views, location, and breakfast!

The location of the homestay is near the attractions, but because it is a residential house upstairs, you have to find it. You must contact the owner before you check in to determine the check-in time and arrangement. You must find a parking space for self-driving tours. The breakfast is good. We stayed at Gram Suites for 4 nights. The location is very convenient—about a 10-minute walk from the metro/train station and just a few minutes from the bus stop to the city center, which made getting around Naples really easy for us. Max, the host, is incredibly friendly and helpful. We really appreciated his warm hospitality and quick responses to any questions we had. The room itself is cleaned daily, which is a nice hotel touch, but the overall vibe feels a bit more like a hostel or Airbnb: cozy and casual rather than super polished. There were a couple of issues during our stay (sorry Max, we were too shy to mention these in person): Noise: The room is close to a road, so it can get quite noisy at night. If you are sensitive to noise like my friend, I would definitely recommend bringing earplugs (she could barely sleep) Mosquitoes: We had quite a few mosquitoes in the room and ended up killing 1–2 every day. Despite using mosquito spray, both my friend and I got bitten several times. Strangely, we didn’t have this problem anywhere else in Naples.
