The location is great, literally steps from the Bell Tower and Zhonglou subway station. I had booked a room with no windows but they upgraded me to a bigger one with windows. The hotel isn't it's own separate building, but uses a couple floors of a shared building. The lobby is on the fourth floor and I stayed on the fifth. The stairs to get into the building are a bit wonky and the elevators are really slow, but it wasn't that big of a deal. The room was clean and always well-maintained by the cleaning staff. It was also quiet, and I didn't hear noise from other rooms. I didn't use any of the amenities or eat breakfast, so I can't speak on that. I enjoyed my room and stay-- Xi'an is amazing!

The hotel's location is incredibly convenient, right outside Bell Tower subway station and across from Kaiyuan Shopping Mall, making getting around a breeze. The room was spotless, and the gentleman on the ground floor was very welcoming, even helping us with our luggage all the way to the subway entrance when we checked out. Breakfast offered a great variety, and they even had afternoon tea. Our child got tired from exploring in the morning, so we could relax at the hotel with afternoon tea before heading out again in the evening. We forgot to bring a pencil sharpener for our child, and the front desk thoughtfully sent a robot to deliver one to our room. When we checked out, the front desk ladies were all very friendly and even gave us a thoughtful little gift. Next time we visit Xi'an, we'll definitely choose Novotel again.

Walking distance to most attractions around Xi'An.. (about 15 mins walk) We stayed there 3 nights.. We had issue with the air cond in our room on the 1st night. However, when we brought this up with the staffs, they upgraded us to a much better room with working air cond. There is a laundry room with 3 washing machine and 1 dryer.. We didn't end up using it as Xi'An was the last city we went to in our journey. There's also this massive kids playing room Overall, for the price, this hotel is really really good.. I defnitely recommend this hotel.

This is more than a hotel. It is a sanctuary in the middle of bustling Xi'an. We were always welcomed with a warm smile by the staff daily. The hotel was tastefully designed and exuded warmth and calmness. The clever use of earthly colours and heavy accent on the usage of timber created an inviting atmosphere. The usage of lightings to highlight certain objects while casting shadows around said objects created an impression of an art gallery. One word to describe this hotel.... LOVELY!!! The butler service in servicing breakfast, afternoon tea and supper was highly appreciated. One added bonus for me was that I was able to photograph Bell Tower in peace and luxury at the top open deck. Highly recommended this hotel for relaxation and also photographing Bell Tower

This hostel has an amazing location! There are several highly-rated restaurants from Dazhong Dianping's must-eat list within 1km. If you're coming to Xi'an for noodles, like me, you absolutely have to choose this place, haha! It's also very clean, and they ask you to change into slippers when you enter. This is the first time I've encountered a hostel that's both affordable and has strict rules (like no smoking, they have a dedicated smoking room). There's an elevator inside the hostel, but you still have to climb a small flight of stairs. The four-person room has eight people sharing two bathrooms. The only minor drawback is that both are Western-style toilets; it would be perfect if one was a squat toilet to accommodate different preferences. It's located in Dapi Lane, basically inside the Muslim Quarter, surrounded by delicious food. The downside to this is that shared bikes aren't allowed to park inside the alley; you have to find a parking spot at the alley entrance. So, no matter if you're taking a taxi or a shared bike, you'll have to walk a bit, but it's only a few hundred meters, so not too far. I truly recommend this hostel. I'm currently staying at a hostel in another city and constantly missing the facilities and strict rules of this one 😢

From airport pick-up to check-in, and then our excursion to the Terracotta Army the next day, everything was seamlessly arranged with a one-stop service. Our tour guide and lecturer were incredibly attentive and knowledgeable throughout, making it very kid-friendly – definitely a thumbs up! The entire experience was completely hassle-free. The hotel lobby was quiet and elegant, and our room, the Camphor Manor, was comfortable, clean, and boasted excellent natural light. The bed linens even had playful little astronaut designs, and there were both iPhone and Type-C charging cables by the bedside – attention to detail was top-notch, making for a very pleasant stay. The hotel is conveniently located near the Xiaonanmen morning market and about a 15-minute walk from the Bell and Drum Towers, offering both peace and comfort. I'd definitely stay here again on my next visit.

This was my second stay here, and this time I brought my parents to Xi'an. I specifically chose a hotel near the Grand Tang Dynasty Everbright City so we could immerse ourselves in the ancient charm of Xi'an while still enjoying modern conveniences. The Westin, with its unique location, was undoubtedly the best choice. The hotel is at the northern end of the Grand Tang Dynasty Everbright City, facing the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, just a two-minute walk away. You can easily step out into the bustling city or retreat into quiet comfort. It's less than 1 km from the Furong Garden, about a 20-minute taxi ride to Yongning Gate, and a 45-minute drive to the airport if there's no traffic. The breakfast offers a rich selection of both local Xi'an specialties and Western pastries. The Chinese restaurant has great food and ambiance, though it doesn't serve Shaanxi cuisine. For authentic Shaanxi dishes, you can walk to Xi'an Restaurant in just two minutes from the hotel. This is one of the few hotels in the area with a swimming pool. While it's a bit small, the overall facilities are excellent. I was pleasantly surprised by the Qujiang Art Museum on the hotel's second basement level. It's supposedly owned by the hotel, and the collection is quite exquisite.

My stay in Xi'an far exceeded my expectations this time! The hotel's location is excellent, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and finding food. Whether it was visiting popular attractions or exploring the shopping districts at night, everything was easily accessible. As soon as I entered the lobby, I felt the warmth of the staff; the check-in process was efficient and thoughtful, which made me feel very welcome. The room was spacious and bright, spotlessly clean, and the bedding was soft and comfortable. The breakfast selection was rich, offering not only a balanced meal but also delicious local Shaanxi specialties, which energized me for each day's activities. Overall, it's incredible value for money, and I will definitely choose to stay here again on my next visit to Xi'an!

It was a beautiful moment to be there. I’m a female and I was traveling alone. And it totally felt safe to be there. Most of the team that I’ve seen were female too and they were always very helping if I needed something. Location is not so far from the Center and very quiet. I had the family room and the room is very spacious, isolated(in a good way) and cozy. Many windows but warm, the bathtub and the water was very hot. Very high ceiling and it’s always the best! Sometimes it’s important to have a great hotel by yourself if you are traveling alone, it totally gives you better feeling of the city and welcoming energy. For that it was a very good price. I’ll definitely come here again if I come back to X’ian one day and I already recommended my friends to stay here. Thank you so much Yixi hotel. Happy new year!

Walking in was a little surprise, haha. The room had a musty smell, like it hadn't been aired out in ages. At night, there was a constant noise above the door, and by 4 AM, I couldn't take it anymore. I called the front desk, and they said turning off the AC would fix it. So I turned off the AC, but then at 8 AM, I was woken up by incredibly loud noise downstairs, like a bustling market. I called the front desk again, but got no response. The noise continued until past 10 AM, when I called the front desk a third time. They told me it was a tour group staying at the hotel, taking photos downstairs. This hotel is supposed to be a luxury type, so why are the guests so ill-mannered? I chose the best room type, and my stay was a total disaster. I had planned to check out at 2 PM, but I couldn't sleep a wink! The noise even continued until I checked out at 1 PM! This clearly isn't the first time something like this has happened, so anyone considering this room type should be very careful! Unless you have money to burn, of course. The garden-view balcony room is on the 2nd floor, right above the hotel's small garden area! People are almost constantly taking photos there throughout the day. I don't understand the point of this room type. When I checked out, the front desk manager gave me a small blind box as an apology. Other than that, the location is quite convenient.

GGuest UserLocation and Environment: The hotel boasts an excellent location near the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, offering convenient access to the Shaanxi History Museum, Datang Everbright City, and Joy City. Despite the bustling area around the Pagoda, the hotel maintains a tranquil atmosphere. Upon entering the lobby, you're greeted by a thoughtful ambiance featuring birdsong and fragrant flowers. Facilities: As one of Xi'an's top hotels, I have a few suggestions regarding the facilities. Firstly, the gym and meeting room are combined, and the layout could be optimized. The gym equipment is quite basic (perhaps not many people use it), and if you choose to work overtime in the meeting room, there are no power outlets for charging devices. While it's good to have both, they both feel a bit underutilized. Secondly, the hairdryer is incredibly loud; my ears were ringing by the time my hair was dry. While a Dyson isn't a must, a Laifen would be a welcome upgrade. Thirdly, regarding the washbasin, since this area is soft-separated from the bed, consideration should be given to preventing excessive splashing during normal use. The basin is too shallow and splashes a lot; I highly recommend replacing it if future upgrades are planned. Fourthly, I suggest providing two pairs of slippers in the shower room for added convenience, especially considering the risk of older guests slipping. On a positive note, I appreciate that small signs outlining the available facilities are displayed in the check-in area; it's concise and commendable! Service: The staff are very enthusiastic, and I find the people of Xi'an to be incredibly warm. My suggestion is for the hotel to proactively remind or reserve afternoon tea and evening soup for guests, perhaps with a call. For instance, I only discovered these services on my second day. In contrast, the Huagong Yutang Hotel, where I stayed the night before, specifically delivered these items to my room. There's room for improvement in this area. Breakfast: The breakfast chef's skills are impressive, and there's a good selection of local specialties like Roujiamo (Chinese hamburger) and Liangpi (cold noodles). The thoughtful mix of Chinese and Western dishes ensures that even latecomers won't miss out. The aunties at the breakfast buffet even thoughtfully suggested packing some pastries for the children. Overall, I'm very satisfied. I especially commend the soaking pool; the water temperature and flow control are excellent, so you don't have to fill it ages in advance, and bath salts are provided. My suggestion is to offer a fruit plate (delivered to the room) based on the room type, which would enhance the overall experience. In summary, both my parents and child were pleased, and we'll definitely stay here again!

TTinabean0109I wish I had stayed in Xi'An for a few more days and made use of this excellent hotel. Prime location straight across from the famous Bell Tower. Across the road from the famous eateries including the Muslim Food Street. Also literally 20 metres from the Metro exit. The rooms were clean and modern and quiet. There was free bottled water on every floor by the elevator that you could just grab and go. Free afternoon tea buffet from 2-4:30. The staff were also very nice, especially the door lady, she was lovely. I cannot recommend this place enough and will certainly be staying here again when I visit.

MMengxiaoyuExcellent Value for Money Hotel in Xi'an | Sheraton Xi'an North City Hotel After comparing several hotels for my trip to Xi'an, I finally chose the Sheraton Xi'an North City Hotel. My stay of several days far exceeded my expectations. As a long-standing five-star hotel, its excellent location, attentive service, and solid facilities make it an ideal base for exploring Xi'an, and have left me with an even greater appreciation for the Sheraton brand. 🗺️ Location: This was the primary reason for my choice. It's right next to Longshouyuan Station on Metro Line 2, and it's less than a 1-minute walk from Exit B directly to the hotel lobby. This means no more lugging heavy suitcases around. For tourists visiting Xi'an, this metro line is a game-changer. You can reach the Bell Tower and Muslim Quarter in just two stops, and travel to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda, Xi'an City Wall, and North Railway Station without any transfers, avoiding Xi'an's infamous rush hour traffic jams. Within a few minutes' walk of the hotel, you'll find shopping malls like Longshou Impression City and Rongmin Longshou Plaza, offering a wide array of dining and shopping options. There's also the Longshouyuan Night Market nearby, perfect for an evening stroll to experience authentic Xi'an street life and sample various local snacks. The convenience for both travel and daily life is superb. 🪴 Ambiance: The guest rooms have the classic feel of an established hotel, with a steady and grand style that differs from the trendy designs of 'influencer' hotels. However, the space is very generous and well-planned, so it never feels cramped. My room had excellent natural light, and the bedding was standard Sheraton quality with a mattress that was just right – neither too soft nor too hard, offering great support. The soundproofing in the room was excellent, ensuring a good night's sleep. 🛁 Facilities: The bathroom area features a separate wet and dry zone. The toiletries are the exclusive Sheraton brand, gentle and replenished promptly. The shower had excellent water pressure and stable temperature, making for a comfortable experience. The room offered ample space for work and storage, and amenities like the TV, lighting, and power outlets were well-maintained and functioned smoothly without any issues. 🍚 Dining: The dining experience is a huge plus for this hotel, easily rivaling specialized restaurants outside. The breakfast buffet offers an incredibly rich variety of Chinese and Western dishes. What truly impressed me was the dedicated Shaanxi specialty counter. The freshly baked *baijimo* (flatbread) with *larou* (braised pork) was crispy outside and tender inside, with the *larou* perfectly marbled and flavorful. Shaanxi snacks like *yangrou shuipen* (lamb soup), *saomian* (noodles with gravy), and *hulatang* (spicy soup) were authentically prepared, easily comparable to popular street food stalls. Starting my Xi'an journey with such an authentic Shaanxi breakfast filled me with immense happiness. The Executive Lounge experience was also excellent. The afternoon tea and happy hour offered a wide range of food, with rotating hot dishes, exquisite desserts, and fresh fruits. Plus, there was an unlimited supply of Xi'an's local specialities like Bingfeng soda and plum juice. The staff were prompt in refilling drinks and clearing plates, and their attitude was gentle, making it a very relaxing place to unwind. The hotel's Chinese restaurant consistently delivers high-quality dishes. Both the Shaanxi cuisine and home-style dishes were authentic and made with fresh ingredients, making it suitable for both casual gatherings with friends and family meals. 💁 Service: The hotel team is attentive, thoughtful, and just right. During check-in, the front desk staff were highly efficient, proactively asking about room preferences and patiently explaining nearby attractions and transportation routes. For various members, room upgrades and benefit redemptions were handled smoothly, without any perfunctory or negligent behavior. Room cleaning was thorough and tidy, with items neatly arranged. The turndown service was meticulous, with staff thoughtfully providing extra drinking water and reminding guests about things to note during their travels, adding a personal touch. 🏋️ Swimming & Fitness: The gym on the fifth floor is well-equipped with a full range of cardio and strength training machines, all well-maintained. The space is bright and airy, and water and towels are provided, making both morning and evening workouts comfortable. The indoor heated pool has clean water, a comfortable temperature, and ample space, making it a great place to relax and alleviate travel fatigue. 😉 Of course, the hotel does have a few minor drawbacks. Due to its age, some of the soft furnishings and facilities in the public areas show a slight sense of history, lacking a bit of modern flair. However, this doesn't affect normal use at all, and the hotel's daily maintenance is excellent, keeping everything clean and tidy without any feeling of dilapidation. 🥰 The Sheraton Xi'an North City Hotel is an incredibly cost-effective five-star hotel. It doesn't rely on flashy gimmicks but has won over countless guests with its superb location, comfortable rooms, authentic cuisine, and warm service. Whether for leisure or business travel, it meets all needs, allowing guests to easily visit Xi'an's major attractions while enjoying attentive service and experiencing the convenience and comfort of the ancient capital. If I return to Xi'an, this will undoubtedly be my top choice for accommodation, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to all my friends visiting Xi'an – choosing this hotel will certainly not disappoint you.

YYongqijunThe hotel is conveniently located right behind the tourist center. The owner is very friendly and helpful; she can assist with booking tickets and provides shuttle services to and from the station and tourist center. The restaurant and shop on the first floor are great for hikers, offering affordable raincoats and food. The room itself is spacious, and the shower has good water pressure and temperature – that feeling of a hot shower after a hike is just pure bliss! My only suggestion would be to place the toiletries closer to the shower area. They are currently on the sink, which is a bit far, so you don't have to step out and potentially wet the bathroom floor.

GGuest UserLove love love this hotel!!! I stayed with my friend in a 2 bed 2 bath room for 8 nights and it was extremely spacious and comfortable. The rooms were very clean and the beds super super super comfy ( I could sleep it in all day but my itinerary was super full). The photos online are quite true to the actual room. They had extremely good service too, starting from the airport pickup, where they were on time and the car was spacious and luxurious! We did the 5 seater sedan at RMB100, the price is comparable to a didi premium but the difference is that they would track your flight and made sure to you were taken care of. The hotel even had Butler service and was very attentive, I could even get them to help store my friend's birthday cake sent from the local cake shop and send it up to us when we were back. The laundry service was handy for a long stay, it was easy to use (and we were on the same floor so it felt like home to just go to and from our room to the laundry room). They even had special prices for popular shows, easily saving more than 50% of the listed price. Thanks for being a home away from home! PS the cats on the 2nd floor is super cute!

GGuest UserThe staff provided excellent service, and the location is fantastic, just a few hundred meters from the Bell Tower subway station. Right outside the hotel, the Bell Tower area is bustling with delicious food options, and the night market is lively in the evenings, yet it's not noisy. Our room was on a higher floor facing the residential area, and the soundproofing was excellent for sleeping at night. The shower water temperature was just right, and the overall color scheme of the room felt very warm. The 'birdcage sofa chair' has a unique look! Every corner of the room was spotless. I'll definitely stay here again when I visit Xi'an.

GGuest UserFor my trip to Xi'an, I chose the Dongshe Hotel, and its location is absolutely unbeatable, right near the Bell Tower, making it super convenient to visit the Muslim Quarter and Drum Tower. But what surprised me most wasn't the location, but their attention to detail in service. I have to praise the housekeeping; the humidifier in the room was such a thoughtful touch, especially great for those traveling during season changes or to dry areas – my skin didn't feel tight all night. Every staff member I interacted with, from the friendly front desk team at check-in, to the housekeeping auntie, and the restaurant staff, was incredibly sincere and enthusiastic. It wasn't just a professional smile; you could genuinely feel they were dedicated to helping you. The overall experience was fantastic; not only was my stay comfortable, but it also lifted my spirits. The daily afternoon tea and 'goodnight sweet soup' were also thoughtfully prepared. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Xi'an; it's definitely worth staying here.

Ggy1983Great location and spacious rooms. The front desk service was excellent, and the complimentary fruit platter was very generous. However, the doorman at the hotel entrance lacked a service-oriented attitude. When I arrived, he was just standing by and didn't offer to open the door. Even after I told him I had luggage in the trunk and was with a child, he remained indifferent. The hotel doorman creates the first impression, and perhaps this gentleman would be better suited for a less demanding role like housekeeping. Standing at the entrance to welcome guests seems to be a challenge for him. This is just my personal suggestion.

FFeifanFamily trip, everyone went, booked in advance, and the price was decent. The hotel's location is great, with all sorts of food options nearby, and a night market in the evenings. Breakfast is quite extensive, with a good variety of dishes and types. It was a comfortable meal, with corn, sweet potato, pumpkin, fried noodles, fried rice, congee, stir-fried dishes, pork buns, vegetable buns, steamed buns, shaomai, roujiamo (Chinese meat burger), bread, cake, noodles (self-service), eggs, fried eggs, three kinds of fruit, milk, soy milk, tofu pudding, coffee, and more. The fruit tasted good, and the tofu pudding was nice. I tried the roujiamo – it was a really authentic local experience.
