It was midnight when we arrived in Xining. As the starting point of the Qinghai-Gansu Grand Loop, we had a good rest. The new hotel has a little smell, but it is fine once the fresh air system is turned on. The breakfast is not suitable for southerners, it is simple and not suitable for this star rating.

JJamesHarrisI will start off by saying that the room and bathroom were well appointed, the staff were friendly and helpful and breakfast was delicious. However, whilst the room was generally clean, when I dropped something that subsequently rolled under a fitted unit, I was pretty disgusted to see the dust and filth beneath it. It clearly had not been cleaned for…well…ever? I appreciate that these areas will not be as clean as the more visible parts of the room, however for a five star hotel, this is unacceptable. I do not expect to find dirty tissues and a thick layer of dust and dirt anywhere in my hotel room. But by far the absolute worst part of my stay was the inability to control the temperature in the room whatsoever. The room was so swelteringly hot that despite the comfortable bed, and everything to go with it, I was almost unable to sleep at all. I do not expect this in a five star hotel(and have never experienced it other than here and at anther Wanda hotel in Hohhot), I pay for luxury; controlling the room temperature is a basic requirement that I can even do in a 50 yuan a night hostel dorm. When I asked the staff at reception the following morning I was told the AC wouldn’t be available until after April 15th because ‘it’s cold outside’. Firstly, I am not sleeping outside, I am sleeping inside, on the 22nd floor, where it is anything but cold. Not to mention it was April, not January, even in Xining it is not that cold. Secondly, as a paying guest, in a five star hotel, it should be up to me to decide if it is hot or cold, not the hotel. For this reason, as lovely as the room, staff and breakfast may have been, I would not stay here again. I checked out and moved to the lower rated Hilton, where I could control the room temperature and actually managed to sleep…generally what the whole point of a hotel is.

GGuest UserTaking my daughter on a business trip is inherently stressful. The demanding schedule and childcare are combined, and I'm always worried about neglecting one over the other. But staying at this hotel softened all my anxieties with gentle care. I was busy with work this morning and didn't pay my daughter any attention. She ran to the front desk, where the staff not only combed her hair but also pinned a child-friendly hairpin. When she returned, she smiled at the mirror for a long time. I was on a video conference at lunchtime and couldn't leave. The front desk lady offered to bring breakfast to my room, specifically asking about my daughter's dietary restrictions and offering an extra portion of fruit, saying, ”This is good for children.” In the afternoon, while I was out, the staff came to my room to help with homework, which was truly reassuring. I'd expected a tough battle, but instead, these strangers quietly warmed me. Their small acts, like family, helped me share my worries, making me feel less anxious and more at ease. This wasn't a hotel; it felt more like a temporary ”home.” The kindness in the little details speaks louder than any lavish decor.

HHaluojiasidexueMy bestie recommended this place, and I'm glad she did! From the front desk staff to the cleaning aunties, everyone was incredibly friendly. There was even a staff member by the elevator who was super enthusiastic, warmly greeting and advising every guest getting into the lift. The surrounding area is lively; as soon as you step out of the hotel, you're right in the middle of a bustling night market with tons of delicious food – roasted lamb, yogurt, all sorts of fruits, you name it. The hotel itself is conveniently located, clean, and safe. It's easy to get anywhere, and it's only 3 kilometers from the train station, so a taxi ride is just 10 yuan. What truly touched me was that during the Mid-Autumn Festival, the hotel even gave us beautiful silk scarves and a heartfelt handwritten card. They really put thought into it! Five stars, I highly recommend everyone to book this place with their eyes closed! (^_^)v

AAnonymous UserStayed during the National Day holiday, and it was a great value! The service was also excellent! There's a museum just over a kilometer away, and Wuyue Plaza is also quite convenient. We checked in late at night and were even given an upgraded room, which was great! The breakfast was also very generous, and the hotel even has a gym. For the price and location during the holiday, it's definitely worth it! They even offer takeout delivery. Transportation is also convenient. Compared to the price, this isn't much better than other chain hotels. I'd definitely consider staying here again when I come to Xining!

Next to the hustle and bustle of the city center, I found such a corner with a sense of security and comfort. The fatigue of the journey was instantly dissipated. Special thanks to the room staff for free laundry and shoe shine. The cleaning was very thorough during the stay. The front desk staff had questions and answers, very professional. The memory point is that the Tibetan decoration of the room is very beautiful (unfortunately forgot to take photos of the interior of the room). The roof of the three-person room is two eight-petal lotus lamps, which is very warm overall. (Each room name is very elegant ”Lotus x”, like entering the magical world...) The bathing environment is very good and clean. It takes a long time to wash and there will be no hot water. The bathroom space is large, the privacy is opaque and the decoration style is still obviously beautiful. The service is particularly good, the waiter will come to teach how to open the door with the room card, and ask the surrounding attractions to respond patiently and diligently. For the spring of the bed mentioned in the comments, the bed is obviously hard: there is indeed a problem, but there are individual beds. I told the waiter that I can help improve it.
