Helpful staff at check in. Room was average size. Comfortable bed,with fresh linen each day. The lady housekeeper kept the room clean durian my daily absence and wished me good morning with a smile each time I saw her. When I checked out she acknowledged me farewell with a wave and warm smile. Breakfast was mainly Chinese as expected in a Chinese hotel, but there was adequate Western style food on offer. All the food was fresh and hot. Overall a good experience with the added bonus of only a short walk to the Yellow Crane Pagoda and ferries across the Yangtze River.. I took advantage of the free Metro and Bus travel for senior citizens.

The location is very nice but our room faced another building which was not the best view possible. Anyway, despite the big amount of visitors, the manager helped us to change room and provided us a better service. The swimming pool was super cold, which clearly was not suitable for me and my kids. Breakfast on the average for this level of hotel. After all I believe the price was too high compared with other hotels in the same area. I want to prize the manager and for his support, but generally I would not recommend this hotel.

Once again a great Somerset experience! The room was very spacious and clean. There were even toys for our daughter. The breakfast was a good selection, both Chinese and Western. The fitness centre and children's playground were also impressive. The location above a mall and the metro is unbeatable! The staff spoke very good English, which is not usual in China. We would love to come back! All in all a very good performance, please keep up the good work!

We decided to to go with a suite and the reservation came with a free photo shoot. Our photographer, Xiao Liu, was kind and the photo shoot was an amazing experience. The breakfast buffet is amazing and the dinner buffet has live entertainment and amazing chefs as well. We also wanted to get massages too but ran out of time. We will get them next time. Overall, I’m grateful for Optic Valley Hilton and the true peace our experiences bring each time. Exactly what we need on vacation.

The hotel located next to the shopping mall and opposite to the river. Nice place to walk and chill. Moreover, the metro station is next to the hotel in front of Starbucks. It was neat and clean hotel and well equipped. We where traveling with our two dogs and this hotel is fully dog friendly. However, covered parking is not provided and there is no EV charging at the hotel parking but there is some in the shopping mall parking next to it. Parking charges 5rmb per hour or 30rmb or night. The only issue with the room was its narrow staircase to access the second floor.

This speaks volumes to the quality of the staff. Thank you so much! I think the newly renovated rooms are clean, well maintained, and smoke-free. The size is small and the views are not great but for the price, I will never actually complain. It is a better bang for your buck than most other hotels in the area. I highly recommend this hotel.
