We arrived at the hotel around 6 PM on the 23rd. We had anticipated the typhoon would arrive at 8 PM as per the forecast, but it turned out to be inaccurate. Even at 10 PM, the pool was still bustling with people enjoying themselves.
Later that evening, I took a stroll from my room to the observation deck at the end of the corridor and noticed that the staff had already prepared all the sandbags for flood prevention.
The front desk staff were very friendly, and our butler, Luy, was incredibly thoughtful. They even arranged for a fruit platter to be placed in our room while we were out for dinner. I felt the value for money was excellent. The facilities are comprehensive, and there's a supermarket conveniently located right next to the hotel's elevators.
The road outside the lobby entrance was undergoing repairs, but this didn't affect our ability to hail a taxi; cabs were readily available nearby. On pleasant days, it's also very convenient to walk to the local market for a meal.
In the evenings, the hotel pool was lively with many children, and the staff were diligently supervising, blowing whistles, and giving reminders to ensure safety. It's very convenient for families with children, and the hotel's playground is also quite spacious.
By the way, in the evenings, both older gentlemen and young people could be seen sea fishing downstairs. Overall, the stay was very enjoyable and felt very welcoming. The scenery here is beautiful, regardless of the weather.

The room is all white and very clean, with a balcony where you can hang clothes. 😏 Just downstairs is the beach, and a short walk away there's a beach music bar at night. The restaurant on the first floor (basement level) right by the sea has a great atmosphere and delicious food. The owner was super enthusiastic and even helped us take photos! Plus, there's a pool for playing in the water, which the kids found incredibly convenient, and the adults loved for photo opportunities. Staying here for several days without moving around still provided new and exciting activities every day. Perfect for guests who enjoy longer stays and in-depth exploration.

It was a lucky find, a serendipitous encounter, that led me to choose this B&B. The cleanliness was impeccable. As someone who usually struggles with sleep, I was pleasantly surprised by how incredibly comfortable the bed was; I slept soundly every single night. A pristine beach is directly accessible downstairs. The warm and attentive service from all the staff truly made me feel completely at home, despite being so far away. Thank you all so much! 🌹 We won't be choosing other hotels. My child even said that from now on, whenever we visit Sanya, we'll only stay here! ~Ziran Song · Fengbai

In Sanya!! The only B&B I'd recommend!!!
You won't believe it! Ruoyi Hotel in Tianya Town completely fulfilled all my fantasies of chilling by the sea 🌊
For this Sanya trip, choosing Ruoyi in Tianya Town as our last stop was absolutely the right decision! The moment I entered the room, the floor-to-ceiling windows framed the ocean perfectly, turning it into a living painting. The blue hour by the sea was breathtakingly beautiful, and at night, you could even see fireworks exploding over the water, like watching a private romantic movie 🎆
The bathtub was my happy place. Soaking in it in the evening, gazing at the sea view and just zoning out – that’s what a vacation should feel like! And the soundproofing in the room was incredible; not a sound from outside could get in, only the gentle lapping of the waves, which acted as perfect white noise for sleeping. I had such a peaceful night's sleep 💤
The hotel's ground-floor pool and terrace were also fantastic. In the afternoon, if I didn't feel like going out, I'd just lie on a lounge chair on the terrace, enjoying afternoon tea, feeling the sea breeze, and watching the ocean. Time really seemed to slow down. Just a few steps downstairs and you're on the beach, walking barefoot on the soft sand – super therapeutic! They even offer a complimentary photo service to capture all these beautiful moments, which is so thoughtful 📸
The hotel facilities are comprehensive, fully immersing you in that vacation vibe, and it's conveniently close to the airport, so no stress about catching flights. My days at Ruoyi really helped me understand and embrace slow living by the sea. Next time I'm in Sanya, I'm definitely staying here again!

The room was huge, like, ridiculously huge! 😂 I honestly think it could easily fit two adults and a child. The ocean view, in my opinion, was fantastic; getting a high-floor room with a sea view is definitely the way to go.
The balcony was also excessively large. There are gaps between the glass panels on the balcony, so parents with small children should be careful. Honestly, though, there's enough space in the room for kids to run around anyway. The second video was shot from the balcony – who wouldn't be captivated by that sea view? 😁
I didn't eat at the hotel restaurant; I ordered takeout, which was delivered by a robot. If you're in a hurry, you can go downstairs and pick it up yourself. The hotel also has its own indoor pool, so you don't even have to leave the building. It does get quite sunny in there, though.
I saw some reviews online saying the hotel is a bit old. To be honest, while it might be old, it's very clean. You can see signs of wear on some of the furniture, but nothing is dilapidated. The only thing I think needs improvement is the living room sofa – it's incredibly soft, almost to an absurd degree, and the bedroom sofa covers definitely need to be replaced. Oh, and the pillows were super comfortable, but the bed was on the softer side.
Overall, for this price, this view, and this much space, it's totally worth it. Seriously, just book it – you'll be blown away, haha. This room is also perfect for taking amazing photos.

This B&B in Tianya Town? What an absolute gem of a find! 💯
The location is absolutely unbeatable! It's right by the sea. As you step into the lobby, you're immediately greeted by the breathtaking blue ocean🌊, and my mood was instantly lifted! Next time I'm in Tianya Town, I'm absolutely locking this place in for my next visit!
Their complimentary beverage service truly impressed me! It's free and incredibly thoughtful. I happily downed a couple of their delicious coconut lattes☕️, and honestly, the coffee quality is good enough to be sold in a cafe! They truly don't cut corners. Sipping coffee on the balcony with the sea breeze – the sheer bliss was beyond words!😭
And the sea view? Reportedly out of this world! Though I booked a street view room this time (a slight regret 😅), I heard their sea view rooms offer an unbeatable and utterly stunning vista! (Definitely trying that next time!)
The value for money here is exceptional! Even with a street view room, it didn't stop me from having direct access to the beach🏖️ and the sea just by stepping downstairs! The savings on the room felt like a bonus! What's more, the room was exceptionally clean and spotlessly, literally sparkling! The water pressure was also super strong! Considering the fantastic service and impeccable cleanliness, this place truly reigns as the king of value for money!
And here's a delightful surprise! In the evening, you can catch a live performance🎤 by a beach singer directly from the lobby balcony! Watching the sea, listening to music, and sipping on a complimentary Americano – the romantic ambiance was off the charts! Utterly enchanting! ✨
To sum it up: Convenient, Attentive, and Impeccably Clean! I'm definitely coming back – this place is now my firm favorite! 🔒

Location: The hotel is located in Sanya Bay, with an excellent location. Downstairs is Haiyue Square, opposite Phoenix Island, within walking distance to the sea. The surrounding transportation is convenient, and the convenience of travel is a plus point across the road from the beach, suitable for guests who like sea views.
Facilities As a newly opened hotel, the rooms are fully equipped, including refrigerators, self-service laundry rooms, etc. Some room types also have bathtubs and are smart facilities to meet the different needs of guests. The hotel is clean and tidy as a whole, and the items are fresh and odorless. The bathroom items are bright like mirrors, giving people a fresh and comfortable feeling.
Dining: The hotel offers a rich selection of buffet breakfasts, afternoon tea and special meals such as coconut chicken or dregs vinegar hot pot, allowing guests to taste local delicacies. The breakfast is very rich and meeting the needs of different tastes is a highlight of the hotel.
Service : excellent service quality, friendly and welcoming staff with smiles and meticulous

The location of this homestay is very convenient. It takes only a short taxi ride to the scenic spots. The environment is beautiful, the air is fresh, the sky is clear, and the environment is clean. It is especially suitable for traveling with friends. It is very comfortable. I would like to give special praise to Xiaoli at the front desk. She was very enthusiastic and took the initiative to help us carry our luggage and send us to the car [strong]

Upon check-in at 4 PM, our room wasn't ready. We were upgraded to a room with a small plunge pool, but its edges were yellowish. The chef at the breakfast congee station had a poor attitude. The restaurant's linen seats and floor were dirty, and we were seated before cleaning was complete. Breakfast was also quite limited. Lobby signage was unclear, and it was often impossible to find staff for assistance. The photography service called me after 11 PM to arrange a shoot, but then no one contacted me even after the scheduled 2 PM time the next day. With a typhoon approaching, I simply left. The pool was quite good, with slides that adults could enjoy without long queues. Our butler, Mango, was quite helpful. The lantern lighting activity was interesting. However, only a small, insufficient amount of cocktails were prepared. Surprisingly, they also charged a deposit for the room booking. This is the first hotel in Haitang Bay I've stayed at that required a deposit.

Ffengxiao96Our second stop on the National Day holiday trip to Hainan, and what a fantastic hotel experience! The hotel is located within the scenic area, spread across (what I'd estimate to be) four different hills. It's nestled in a tropical rainforest, surrounded by the sounds of birds and fragrant flowers. You might encounter an occasional insect or gecko in your room (though the hotel seems to put a lot of effort into pest control). But honestly, it just adds to the authentic natural ambiance! After checking in, you get a dedicated personal concierge service. For getting around, you rely on the hotel's private shuttle service, which arrives within 10 minutes of calling (even during the busy October 1st holiday period). A friendly tip! If you're traveling with elderly guests or those with mobility issues, I recommend contacting the hotel in advance to arrange special services. The Bird's Nest rooms, in particular, require walking along boardwalks to reach them. The quality, environment, and overall experience of this hotel are definitely commensurate with the price!

Excellent
GGuest User**Room:** As it was the low season, we were assigned a high-floor room with excellent views and no construction sites visible. A protective railing was already installed before we even entered.
**Service:** The hotel proactively called in advance to confirm our room preferences and added us on WeChat to assist with any requests. Yarra (a staff member) reached out daily, and her responses were incredibly prompt. We even received a small gift upon check-out. All hotel staff were incredibly friendly; even the cleaning ladies would proactively greet our child. After switching to a similarly priced hotel in Qingshuiwan, we truly appreciated that InterContinental is a cut above the rest in terms of rooms, facilities, and service.
**Dining:** Breakfast offered a rich selection with many choices, but the taste was quite average. Our room included executive lounge access. While the 'Happy Hour' food options were somewhat limited and replenishment was a bit slow, we still managed to get full. The hotel's Chinese restaurant was excellent, with fantastic food! The in-room dining was also good, and the prices were comparable to ordering from outside.
**Facilities:** The entertainment facilities were perfectly adequate for our young child. After all, the pebbles in the lobby alone kept them entertained for half a day, and they had a great time.
**Travel Photography:** The travel photoshoot process was enjoyable, and we were happy with the photos.
MM361185****Among the many high-end resorts in Haitang Bay, this one offers the most approachable price. It's an older hotel, over a decade old, so don't expect it to be brand new; that's its only drawback. However, the service and activity arrangements are excellent. I particularly enjoyed the hotel's bubble party, bonfire night, and bamboo pole dance. Both kids and adults can easily spend a whole day having fun. The beach is right outside, there's a free shuttle to the duty-free shop, and you can book an airport shuttle (at your own expense). Recommended.
CChristieThis hotel was excellent. There are 2 pools, both very clean and large. The staff also frequently check the pool and maintain it in excellent condition. The highlight….the breakfast buffet was amazing!!!!! It had multiple stations including BBQ, noodles, traditional dim sum, western breakfast options, Thai/malay curry, pastries, desserts and an excellent assortment of fresh tropical fruit. They had guava, passion fruit and fresh melons.
Would definitely come again and stay longer so that I can see other parts of the island.
TtemmariamStaying at the Four Seasons was such a beautiful experience 🌿✨ The whole place felt luxurious and welcoming, but what truly made it unforgettable was the bathtub on the balcony 🛁💫 Nothing beats soaking under the open sky with a peaceful view—it felt like my own little slice of paradise. Everything from the service to the atmosphere was top-tier, but that balcony bathtub is what I’ll be dreaming about until my next visit 💕

MM17464****This was my third stay, and as always, I was completely satisfied. I chose a mountain view room again, and the enthusiastic front desk staff helped me pick one with a balcony. It was perfect for drying clothes and offered a sea view, which was amazing – huge thanks to them! The hotel facilities are also comprehensive, with a pharmacy, a small supermarket, and more. The ground-floor pool connects directly to the beach, allowing for endless fun. They even offer a free shuttle to Nanshan Scenic Area, making trips there very convenient.
The room itself was clean and tidy, with daily housekeeping ensuring it remained spotless.
Whether it was the front desk receptionists, the restaurant staff, or the cleaning ladies, everyone was incredibly friendly, patient, and had excellent attitudes.
The breakfast buffet was, as always, fantastic, with a wide variety of dishes and plenty of choices – very satisfying.
I didn't try the dinner buffet this time, so I'm not sure if it's changed since last year. I'll have to give it a try next time.
The afternoon tea has become a buffet now. I'd recommend keeping a non-buffet, set menu option as well.

Very Good
GGuest UserI personally really did not enjoying my stay at this hotel. I felt it was more of a mainstream Chinese tour group hotel than an international high-end brand. The breakfast was so busy full of so many people the swimming pools were really bad. Are they too small and weird shaped and closed. you can’t swim on the beach here. There was only two check in staff for 1 million people so expect to have to wait to check in. If you have kids, maybe it’s fine but for Western tourists especially those without kids I would strongly recommend not to stay here.
MMr. HEOA Memorable Family Stay at Atlantis Sanya
During the long Korean Chuseok holiday in early October 2025, my family and I took a short trip to Sanya for some rest and fun. We stayed at Atlantis Sanya, and from the moment we checked in, it already felt like the right choice. The room was big enough for our family of four and so comfortable that we felt at home right away. Everything, including the bathroom and the amenities, was modern and spotless.
Most of our time was spent enjoying the water park, which quickly became our kids’ favorite place. We laughed, played, and probably spent more time there than we planned. Breakfast was another highlight — every morning offered something new, fresh, and delicious. Those small changes each day made every meal feel special, and the cheerful atmosphere helped us start each day in a good mood.
The most unforgettable moment came when my daughter lost her phone in a taxi. We were quite worried, but the duty manager and our butler, Farhana, stepped in immediately. They contacted the driver, explained the situation, and somehow managed to get the phone back to the hotel. I was honestly amazed — I never thought we’d see it again, especially in another country. Their kindness and determination left a deep impression on all of us.
Thanks to the thoughtful staff — especially Farhana, who took care of our family as if we were old friends — our stay at Atlantis became something truly special. It was a trip filled with warmth, laughter, and unforgettable moments. If we ever visit Sanya again, there’s no question — we’ll be staying at Atlantis once more.
MM225220****Grand Hyatt Sanya Haitang Bay: A Perfect Holiday Cured by Max's Thoughtful Service
I have to give full marks to Grand Hyatt Sanya Haitang Bay and my personal butler, Max! A huge part of the joy from this vacation came from her.
The hotel itself is stunning. As the first beachfront resort for Grand Hyatt in China, it beautifully blends traditional culture with modern design. Walking through the grounds feels like stepping into a tropical oasis, with lush flowers, plants, and trees everywhere you look. Our sea-view room offered incredibly expansive views, and the 180-degree ocean-view bathtub was perfect for photos. Soaking in it at night, listening to the sound of the waves, instantly melted away all fatigue. The three unique pools each offered different fun, and the 900-square-meter Camp Hyatt kept the kids entertained to no end. The direct access to 68 Food Street from the basement made dining and shopping super convenient. Breakfast had a rich variety, with a good balance of Chinese and Western options.
But the most delightful surprise was the service from our butler, Max. From proactively adding us on WeChat after check-in to confirm our needs, to responding instantly to any questions we had during our stay, she was amazing. Every day, she delivered fresh fruit and delicious refreshments, thoughtfully sent us local activity guides, and even prepared a bubble bath for us in the evenings to wash away the day's tiredness. In short, the experience was fantastic, and we'll definitely stay here again.
This vacation completely won me over with Max's professionalism and warmth. The luxury of the Grand Hyatt isn't just in its hardware, but in the service that permeates every detail. I'm already looking forward to my next visit and hope to meet Max again!
GGuest UserOn our way back from Wenchang after watching the rocket launch with our child, we spotted Mission Hills Hotel, a place we'd stayed at before. Seeing such a great price, we booked it right away! I recall when Mission Hills first opened; it was quite a sensation, and we felt so proud to stay there. This time, with our child in tow, we arrived to find the doorman as friendly and enthusiastic as ever – truly maintaining their high standards. Even though it was almost midnight, the front desk attendant politely and gently handled our check-in, making us feel the hotel's service genuinely exceeds five-star expectations. Our room, while small, was immaculately clean. The thick carpet immediately conveyed its luxury status, and the room smelled wonderfully fresh, completely free of any odors. They thoughtfully provided a children's toiletries and slipper set for our little one. This attention to detail made us feel incredibly warm and cared for. Throughout our one-day stay, every staff member greeted us with a smile, making us feel completely at home. Mission Hills Hotel truly is a super five-star experience!
