Hexi Corridor Grand Hotel

Shazhou Market
Our stay at this riverside hotel was pleasant, thanks to the nice and friendly personnel. They were consistently helpful, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The hotel's excellent location by the river and close proximity to main tourist attractions (accessible by taxi) made exploring the city a breeze. The room was spacious and impeccably clean, ensuring a comfortable retreat. While the breakfast was just okay, the reception staff's exceptional assistance stood out—they were always ready to help with anything we needed. Overall, a reliable choice for those seeking a convenient and comfortable stay near key tourist spots.
the Silk Road Dunhuang Hotel

Mingsha Mountain and Crescent Moon Spring
You won’t regret staying here. In summary it’s a very nice hotel (quite large actually) that is perfectly located (about 1km walking from the sand dunes (Mingsha mountain and Creacent Moon spring area). Staff is extremely friendly and helpful and the architecture is also really nice. The views from the roof top terrace (breakfast/ coffee spot) are amazing and the breakfast itself is also quite good. The downside that’s also to mention: Price wise it’s a bit expensive especially during holiday season. Rooms are a bit old and you can hear everyone passing by.
Holiday Inn Express Zhangye

Just completed a wonderful three night stay at the Zhangye Holiday Inn. Perhaps most Silk Road tourists do not spend three nights in Zhangye but we wanted to visit both the popular and more “off the beaten path” historical sites nearby. This Holiday Inn is up to international standards - the staff was very professional, courteous and well trained, the rooms were modern and well-maintained, and even the buffet breakfast restaurant manager spoke English. This is probably one of the few (if not the only) more Westernized hotels in Zhangye) and we had a very good stay and experience in this hotel in Zhangye.
M International Hotel (Shazhou Night Market)

This hotel accepts foreigners. Location is not far from Dunhuang night market. Reception is nice and welcoming although they did not speak english. Translation app will do just fine. 100rmb deposit at check-in and they will give you back at check-out if everything is fine. Room is small, quite old and basic. Smoking is allowed inside hotel floors so it felt really suffocationg. The faucet in the bathroom did not give hot water, only the shower did. The only thing I don’t like is the AC (also heater) emitted kind of a burning smell which made the room suffocated. I turned on for a while and turned off in order to sleep safely.
Dunhuang Bohui Wenhua Hotel (Shazhou Night Market Branch)

We arrived in Dunhuang at night, and the pick-up service arranged by the hotel was very heartwarming. The room is spacious, clean and comfortable. You can see the beautiful scenery of Mingsha Mountain in the distance outside the window. The front desk service is warm and thoughtful, making you feel like spring breeze. The hotel breakfast is delicious. The restaurant is on the 9th floor and has a large viewing platform where you can enjoy the beautiful Dunhuang. The lobby on the first floor of the hotel also provides yogurt, mineral water and seasonal fruits. The hotel's service details are very attentive. The Dunhuang landmark Rebounding Pipa is right in front of the hotel. It is very close to the Dunhuang Shazhou Night Market. It is only a 5-minute walk away. It is convenient for eating and transportation. You can take the No. 3 bus at the door directly to Mingsha Mountain, and there are direct buses to the Mogao Grottoes. I had a comfortable stay and had a lot of fun during my trip to Dunhuang. I hope to come again if I have the opportunity.

When we arrived at 930pm there was loud construction next door and didn't stop till after 1230am both on the first night and 3rd night. Very loud and difficult to sleep. Room was ok but bed was very hard like sleeping on wood. Breakfast was Chinese breakfast and just mediocre. Hotel advertised a gym , spa and sauna. Gym was 2 small machines stuck in the corner of the 2nd floor out in the open. I could not find the spa or sauna so I asked the front desk and was told ”no have”. I discovered later the next night the spa is outside of the hotel and not affiliated with the hotel. Won't stay here again
Aisiting Hotel

I stayed at his hotel during my first two visits to Dunhuang. The hotel environment is very good and parking is convenient. On the second day of my stay, I encountered sandstorms and the hotel staff helped me wash my car. I took my children to visit the Dunhuang Museum, Crescent Lake, and rode a camel. The experience was very good. The Shazhou Night Market is also very good.
Zhouji Hotel

This hotel is convenient for charging the car Seeing the previous bad review was very awkward, after the check-in, I found that the health situation was actually OK, not so bad, the first two days may be the National Day holiday hotel staff insufficient, resulting in a worrying health situation. Staff service is relatively indifferent, but the request can basically be answered. Breakfast is so-so, many steaming points are cold. The main building where I live, the hotel facilities are old, the makeup mirror lights and air conditioning have been broken, it was very cold in early October, there was no heating, and there was no air conditioning. This is a bad review (the local intercontinental brand hotel in the cooperative city has already provided heating). I specially asked for a quieter room type. I was not noisy at night, but the waiter started to do hygiene at 9 o'clock in the morning. I would ring the doorbell to confirm that no one was in the room that I had checked out. If you want to sleep late, don't expect it. In general, this hotel is worth about 200 a night, 399 during the National Day, the price is very low. The hotel did not make up for it through the service when it knew that the hardware facilities were insufficient, and the food was ugly. Friends who want to go to Zhagana, there is no need to live here, they are all slaughtered, it is better to go to the mountain and enjoy the beautiful scenery.
Metropark Hotel

Shazhou Market
The hotel is in a good location, with many restaurants around, including Fanji Jingyuan Lamb and Alibaba Barbecue recommended by Xiaohongshu, with many choices. The hotel has its own parking lot, and the service is also very good. There are also thoughtful gifts, and the room is also equipped with snacks and drinks, which is very comfortable. There are also many types of breakfast. The only thing to mention is that the details of hygiene need to be improved, but it may be that there are too many people during the National Day, which is understandable. It will be ok if it is strengthened a little more in the future. I will choose to stay here if I have the chance in the future!
Dunhuang Yuntian International Hotel (Shazhou Night Market)

Strategically located to stage to places of interest: like Dunhuang spring crescent n also Mogao Grottoes. Within 20minutes. Very affordable and great value for money with all the helpful front staff to housekeeping. Just around the corner is the street food with lots of restaurants n the Shahzhou nite Market is just 15 minutes walk away. I highly recommend anyone wishing to come to Dunhuang seeking reasonable and quality accommodation to stay here.
