A positive surprise: the room had a couch corner, coffee machine and microwave as well as the actual bedroom. This is rare in this price range. Although everything was clean, the hotel also has room for improvement (peeling wallpaper and stained sofa). The reception staff were very quick and friendly!
Traveling for work and this was one of the few hotels that looked ok for around $100 a night. It amazes me what people will pay per night locally. Amsterdam is an older hotel, but it's not run down and falling apart. It's got a neat cool vibe to it. Smaller everything, except the room. It was quiet, comfortable, clean, and easy. No bugs or boogie men like these fake reviews of hotels all around the area say. I stayed at the Hyatt in Greenwich last week and I'd choose Amsterdam 10 times out of 10.
The facility was lackluster at best. It used to be great. Eco friendly was claimed for not doing daily room service. Hypocritical. There were paper plates, plastic serve where, and poorly working HVAC units. The organization was simply looking to cut down on costs. Similarly, I’ve seen better breakfasts at hotels that cost half as much. Vents in the bathrooms were nonfunctional. The window could only be closed from the outside. I look forward to posting this on yelp unless you make amends.
Breakfast is a bit simpler, the shower water is small, not hot enough, too tired, waiting for a long time without hot water, I slept, the next morning tossed for nearly two hours, the water can take a bath. The hotel is very Nice, and the breakfast coupon is presented as compensation for the shower. Probably because of the renovation, the last time I stayed in the swimming pool was under renovation.
The location of the hotel was perfect for me since the place I was attending was down the block from the hotel. Service and cleanliness was also perfect. The only thing that I didn’t like was that you had to pay to park in their parking garage even though you was staying at their hotel. It was the first time that I had to do that.
The facilities are a bit old, but the environment and service are good. When I checked out, he asked me enthusiastically and helped me get a cup of hot water. I asked him for hot water the night before.
The room is spacious and clean, the bed is very comfortable, the breakfast is rich in variety, the male manager at the front desk is enthusiastic and tells you how to get hot water for drinking. Parking is convenient and there is a gas station just outside the door. The only drawback is that there is only a coffee machine in the room, but no kettle. It is recommended to have a kettle.
The room was clean and comfortable, and check-in was smooth. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The location was convenient — close to the university, with easy parking and access to nearby stores and restaurants. The room itself was simple but had everything I needed for a short stay.
Overall, a good value for the price , perfect for a quick trip or business stay in Danbury.

EElizNinaWe had a few issues but they took care of it I would recommend tripped.com for many new customers it is a great booking site and overall we were extremely happy with our stay and how you guys handled the few little issues we had
AAnonymous UserChecked into a room and the tub was filled with dirt and was disgusting not even cleaned. The floor was still dirty and had someone's finger nail on the floor it was a fake nail but still. Covered in dog hair like it wasn't even mopped and then on top of it there was a bunch of roaches behind my fridge! I couldn't even take a shower after a long day at work!
GGuest UserFor what it was I was very impressed. Also it’s one of the few Motel 6 that has indoor room access which is very comforting knowing that someone from the street can knock on your door.
AAnonymous UserThis was a good price for the cost was everything was located close and nearby not any issues with too many items in the room all around fairly well and had a bad day
LLaomoyoutianxiaThe room was not bad, at the motel on the way from Boston to New York. The price is much lower than the big city, as an overnight use. There are no attractions around, there are some aristocratic shops in the distance, selling donkey cards and the like.
张张Country small shop, heavy in cheap. Very large motel. But there are a lot of people living, and the ice is gone. Personally, I don't feel particularly safe. Many idle people are wandering around. Still clean.
