Very good hotel. The owner enthusiastically introduced his family's 120-year-old hotel and let me choose a room when I checked in. In the end, I chose the sun room. I really like the scenery from the hotel. The rooftop is also very beautiful. The room was clean and comfortable, I regretted not staying a few more nights.

We went with my 2 little children and my wife. First of all, the cleanliness was very nice, everything was clean and hygienic. We were especially pleased with the attention and smiling faces of the nice staff. It was a comfortable stay with the children. The breakfast was very nice and varied. Thank you very much, we are glad we chose you.

The cleaning was good, the yaluminum was bad, the roof was raining, the room was flowing, the room was watered, and the stones were thrown into your head, so I don't know the gentleman who welcomed us, but it was very interested, they said, there was the top terrace on Saturday night, the latin dance night. He warned that we wouldn't be disturbed by the voice of our room. He said that it would take to ten and half. The location of such itself, the outskirts of the city, and also on the rise. Of all that was, I can note the staff - very polite and try to help with any unbound. The room ventilation is not working at all if you take a shower, be aware that the moisture will stand all day and all the things you have there will not dry, including a towel. Also there are ants, in the room it is better not to take anything from the food with you

The soundproofing of the hotel is not good, there is a small yard in the middle, and the sound of sleeping in the yard at night will be transmitted to the room. No house cleaning. There is no staff at the front desk on Saturday morning. The facilities in the room are old, there is no hot water, and the mattress is not good for sleeping. The breakfast on the first day was okay, I couldn't live and went to a friend's hotel.

GGuest UserI stayed at this lovely hotel for four nights. It's located slightly up a hill but not all the way up, so it made it very easy to get away from all the hustle & bustle of the tourists on the main street, but yet still have the charm & proximity to beautiful architecture, restaurants and shopping. The staff is very accommodating, and the environment is very chill. In addition, there are two little furry staff members, sometimes three, who will run the courtyard and keep you company.
Upon checking in, they informed me that if I wanted to include breakfast with my stay, all I needed to do was let them know how many times I dined at checkout. Also, I needed laundry to be done, therefore dropped it off in the morning by 10:00 a.m. and had it back by early evening. They also said just pay upon checkout. They are very trusting! No one checks you at the restaurant for your room number! One load was $10€, but I will say don't expect them to fold everything. I dropped everything off in my own laundry bag, and it was pretty much shoved back in there! You also have to be specific with what you want hung dry too. They have an iron in the reception area should you need it.
The rooms are nicely decorated in a rustic style. It's a decent size, but they are rather dark. I had a hard time putting on makeup before going out. 😂 The bed was rather comfy. The water pressure was absolutely fantastic, and the water gets hot quick too!!
There are several delicious restaurants within 2 to 3 minutes walking distance ... Taste of Mama (Gözleme), Omru (rooftop), TUMA (rooftop), INCI, and Keyif (rooftop & great music).
Overall, a very pleasant stay in a lovely location. I would definitely return!

GGuest UserI’m stayed with family at family suite with 2 bedrooms plus spacious living room. Super nice Hot Air Balloon & sunrise viewing in the morning. Very attentive, polite and friendly hotel specially compliment to both Zeynep & Mensure. Both are lovely ladies.Thank you once again for everything during our stay . Highly recommend hotel if you going to Cappadocia.

Breakfast was a great Turkish spread. With a hot omelette or traditional pie or donut. Absolute treat and great value. Mineral water and Chai tea on tap all day.
Internet was perfect to take video meetings with colleagues in the USA and Europe.
Location is away from the noise of Goreme, directly under the hotair balloons every morning. Incredible view from the rooftop terrace.
Rooms are perfect, comphy bed, crisp sheets, brilliant water pressure!
Staff are great! They even invited me to sit and have lunch with them one day. Delicious lemon cake. I asked for two of each Turkish coin, I'm collecting for my niece and nephew. Esra from the front desk found me all of the coins. Ever the scarce 1c and 5c, she even looked in her purse and tip jar for the 10c we couldn't find.
Everyone gave the exact same service. On morning three I didn't even order a Double Turkish coffee with less sugar. One for the staff, knew and brought it for me.
These guys get it. They know service and it's a treat. The price is oddly low. Incredible value.
There is an epic hiking trail that starts in their back yard and goes all the way up the mountain and back down through the spectacular sand caps and dramatic Turkish landscape.

The kindness of the blonde-haired girl at the front desk, especially her care for local cats, added a personal touch, especially given the cultural context that not all Turkish people may share this affection. This combination of unique accommodations, stunning views, and outstanding staff service makes Traveler's Cave Hotel a highly recommended destination for anyone visiting Cappadocia as of my stay in June 2025.

It was our first time visiting Cappadocia and we were looking for a luxury cave room experience with an authentic Turkish rooftop terrace.
The customer service at the hotel was exceptional - very friendly, attentive and accommodating. Even when we had checked out, they still displayed the same faultless level of service. We had requested to move to a quieter room and the hotel provided us with an upgrade. They were also very helpful in arranging airport transfers and Ferhad assisted us with our luggage to our room and throughout the hotel. He made us feel very welcome. The breakfast terrace (separate from the rooftop terrace) had a beautiful view and offered a great selection of traditional Turkish breakfast, overlooking the beautiful Göreme.
The hotel itself is located at the most elevated part of the town and their rooftop terrace is spread over three floors - it offers the most amazing view of the hot air balloons at sunrise and is spacious enough for guests to take pictures without feeling crammed. They also offered free Turkish tea throughout our stay!

SSiti NabilahWe had a fantastic 4-day stay at this hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, fulfilling all our requests, including placing us on a higher floor for stunning views. The room was clean, spacious, and perfect for our family of 4 adults. The beds were super comfortable, and the bathroom was large and modern.
Although we experienced a brief power outage one day, it was resolved quickly. The breakfast was amazing with a great variety, and the hotel's restaurant offers delicious meals—slightly pricey but worth it! We were served by the friendly Ibrahim!
A unique touch was the beautiful birds and hens they kept in cages, adding charm to the surroundings. The hotel’s location is ideal, close to the town, and we even got to see hot air balloons right from our room! Overall, it was a superb and memorable experience. Highly recommend!🥰😍

GGuest UserA fabulous and affirdable cave style hotel with a Turkish rooftop seating area overlooking stunning views of the town below. The staff were exceptionally helpful to organize and schedule a variety of outings from a hot air balloon ride to evening sunset horse rides and tours to visit multiiple famous attractions. The breakfast was delicious and the facility was cleaned well daily. Highly recommend!

GGuest UserIt’s been a great couple of days, the most beautiful and amazing attraction was to stay in the cave hotel room, outside was scorching hot over 100 degrees everyday, but inside our cave room without any air conditioning, it was comfortable between 70-73 degrees maybe. We were almost cold at some point, we had to open the balcony door to let warm air come in. The location was perfect it’s not the downtown where it’s bustling, but right in front of the biggest attraction the cave church. Easy short hike, and small restaurants and shops surrounding.
The staff was super friendly, the manager was very helpful, helped us with everything. They offered to help with all our activities and transfers.
The last most important part was that I had forgotten my 360 camera, and messaged them right away, they sent it to me to another hotel that I stayed in the next few days. They were prompt and helpful. So I caught up with my camera much sooner.

GGuest UserGreat stay in a very nice boutique hôtel great for balloon watching.. the breakfast is very tasty and plentiful. The staff is very attentive and helpful.
Although i booked my tours they do sell some. I thought they were more expensive but the manager showed me their value and inclusions. So it cônes back to the same.
Note that there is no AC and loud music that goes around until late so earplugs…and avoid during very hot months

GGuest UserThis place is a gem and the people are the stars! Both Aisha and Fatih made us feel welcomed like family. They always greet us with smile. The welcome drinks and sweets were very much appreciated after a long journey. The room is spacious, clean and well decorated. The bathroom is also spacious with good hot shower. There are generous free drinks and snack and some to purchase provided in the room. Bed linens are fresh and keep you warm in cold nights. Breakfast is a feast both to the eyes and the appetite. The breakfast room faces the valley over Goreme Town. The location is superb, within 5 minutes to the Uchisar Castle and also offers many interesting alley ways to get more of the view of the valley and access to some abandoned caves that are definitely photo worthy. There are plenty eateries nearby and also souvenir shops and travel agents. I highly recommend My Cave La Maison du Reve to other travellers.
