Stayed at the hotel for three nights, the hotel is very new, although small but the facilities are very good, facing the beach and the sea (although it is black sand beach). Breakfast is delicious, if you don't have time to eat, you can ask the hotel to prepare a sandwich. I have eaten a few meals at the hotel, but it is more expensive than the outside, but it is recommended. The hotel also has a horse to kill the chicken, but there is no special room. It is made on the beach chair by the pool. The price is more expensive than the outside, but the experience is Not bad. The only bad thing is that the hotel location is cheaper. Come in and take a bad road. We were also found on Google Maps. It would be a bit painful to take the baggage. The hotel is 20 kilometers away from the city, it is more troublesome to go out, you can sit on the yellow bus is very cheap. It is recommended that people who like a quiet holiday come, otherwise it is better to live in the city. The chickens in the house next to the hotel like to call in the middle of the night. If the room is close, it will be a bit noisy.
Stayed at the Villa (5 nights) with a friend! A very nice and quiet place, if you have adequate neighbors (before leaving, a group of noisy Chinese checked in, who were swimming in the pool at 2 am and laughing loudly) 🤦🏻♀️, so much so that we even had to go out and ask them to calm down!!! We even wrote a note to the admin, and in the morning we received an apology and an offer of compensation for the ”night rendezvous”!
Overall, everything was great: attentive and responsive staff, beautiful and well-kept territory, the only downside is the restaurant menu (many items were missing, but the cooks 🧑🍳 met us halfway every time and this is a big plus ➕)
Every morning, fresh and delicious pastries were brought to the guests' room!
Kandaya resort is definitely very beautiful and clean. It offers many activities from ARV, horseback rides, archery, island hopping and many more. The breakfast is delicious and has a variety of, especially Philippine cuisine. The kayaking was our personal favorite. It’s just a long drive away from Cebu city. However, should we find ourselves that side of the world again, we will choose this resort anytime. Lastly, the room was so stylish and modern..it was just amazing. Bed is super comfortable.

the place was so nice and people were accommodating my family very well. i am currently staying in japan and i booked this hotel for my family for there new year vacation and when they got there the confirmation booking was smooth and my mom told me that even the staff there often ask if they're comfortable with the room and if they lack something like knife or basic utensils because they can lend them there's. When my mom ask for a possible motorcycle rent one of the staff did not hesitate to provide solutions and shared amazing spots that must be visit within the area free of charge and provided tips on how to get there. the wifi was never a problem. the room was clean and the towels smell amazing. Overall i would recommend this place specially with its budget friendly prize and the people there are nice. :) leave a like if this helps :D
About the room: Price is around 2,200Pesos (40 USD) per night for 2 people. They dont provide hair dryer, slippers in rooms. There're only 2 towels, no mat for CR. Air-con is Philippine traditional style which means it's somehow noisy but acceptable. The utilities in toilet are poor. Luckily they still have hot water even though the shower head is not functioning well.
They let us check in early (11am) because there's available room.
The best thing about this resort is the view. It's stunning and adorable. I enjoy taking a rest here.
Food in restaurant is also quite affordable.
The location is not far from the Consuelo port, but it costs 300peso (5USD) to ride a tricycle 1 way (hotel to port).

It was a peaceful mind and relaxing day during stay . It seems feels peaceful home.thank you owner they are very responsible during my stay even there’s a problem during booking coz of unplanned cancellation flight but still they allowed me to choose any days to stay just to enjoy the booking that I did .
If you're looking for a a mountain scenic view, you should expect it to be a bit difficult for the location. So I wasn't really overly surprised that the road isn't as perfect but for the view its all worth it. Were lucky to be there on a weekdays so we have the whole place to ourselves. We rented their motorbike for it to be convenient to travel and get to shops coz they have a little kitchen so you can cook. Unfortunately Osmena peak was still close the time we went yet the place made it comfy for us to stay. I recommend this hotel specially for couples and young adults..
It was a last minute booking. We arrive at the property at 8:00 p.m from a long trip, and good thing there are still available rooms. The receptionist (both Kuya and Ate), whom I think the owner or the caretaker are very friendly and accommodating. They answer all our inquiries, and even give us some tips on where to book online and some details about when they started opening the place etc..The place is very new, and the rooms are very clean and new.
We've been to many places but this is the only place that has a swimming pool and their rooms and bed are big with our own bathroom/toilet, aircon, TV and free wifi, and it is only 700pesos per night for 2 pax. However, they do not have a hanging rack inside the bathroom, but they have a hanging cabinet where you can hang your clothes and you can also hang your wet clothes outside the room.
How we wish we saw this place first because the place we booked before this, we also paid 700 pesos but it does not have a pool, and the room is very small with a double deck bed, and it does not have a TV and private toilet/bathroom.
As per Kuya, they also offer catering services and private events to be held in their place. They also have free coffee and water in their mini pantry just in front of the pool.
They also have breakfast if you want to book with breakfast. They also have a menu of their available foods at a reasonable price.
Overall, we really like this place, what you see in the pictures are exactly what you get in actual. We will book this place again to celebrate the birthday of my partner's brother.
Thank you,
Facilities: There are swimming pools, restaurants, billiards, and the equipment is old and acceptable. Clothes can be dried at the door.
Environment: Very good. The room and bathroom are big enough. If you have enough budget, you can choose the Bathala Resort next door, which has a better environment. The two hotels are connected, interconnected, and have the same style. It feels like they are owned by the same hotel.
Service: I booked a triple room with two beds, a queen bed and a sofa bed, with a fitted sheet, and an extra bed fee of 100 RMB per day was charged. Although it is clearly stated on the confirmation page, I feel that the price/performance ratio has dropped. Every day there is a cat lying at the door asking to be petted.

GGuest UserThe staff is awesome!!! The owner is warm!!! The location is great, the atmosphere is very cozy. The breakfasts are good, and the kitchen in general too. There were cute dogs on the territory, and small puppies under the stairs 🐶. Nice. The only thing is, maybe it was just our room that was a little shabby, in the attic, but it didn't bother us, we had a great rest. Thank you very much
SShebarshova15 minutes drive from Alona Beach and the airport. There is a descent to the sea. We swam with masks, a lot of starfish and sea urchins, beautiful corals, without special shoes and masks you should not swim, it is dangerous, only splash around near the shore. Great breakfasts, interesting territory, restaurant with a view, their own ice cream, the most delicious thing I have eaten. We lived in a wooden house, the room is spacious, with air conditioning, but the room has a heavy smell of old age,
EEmmanuel SarmientoThe place is quiet, good for people who like relaxation in a tranquil environment. The room is okay, I got a small ne but it was enough for me since I came as a solo. However, I don‘t understand why it was so hard to hail a tricycle going to this place, no matter how near it actually is. Even the tricycles from there won‘t pick you up even when it‘s not yet fully occupied. So far my stay was good. I was able to work in my room, I just wished they have something like a study table where guests who needs to work remotely can work. Also, it would be nice if you know how to drive a motorbike and hold a driver‘s license. Cause going to the places there back in forth can be really hard when commuting only, unlike when you can rent a motorbike, you can go anywhere, anytime without a hassle.

HHelenLenThe location of the hotel is not the best. The room I stayed was facing a very noisy road filled with traffic noise and it’s surrounded by local houses with noisy roosters that start at 3:30 am. There’s no swimming pool as it shows in the pictures. It’s under frozen construction which was right over my room. There’s no hot shower.
The owner is very sweet and welcoming! Very nice lady Ruby. She gave many useful tips about the island and helped with booking the diving course.
If you’re not a diver, this place is not the best option for you. There’s not much to do on the island. It’s very undeveloped and there’s are only few stops to enjoy the beach life.
GGuest UserVery good, the location is very close, very convenient for eating, drinking and having fun, the front desk service is warm and thoughtful. Because my plan has changed, I left first, and I will patronize this store next time.
