I had a pleasant stay overall. The hotel is clean and the location is great, very easy to find. The staff were all super friendly and welcoming, which I really appreciated. The only downside is that they didn’t provide slippers. Because of that, I noticed and felt the floor wasn’t completely clean, which was a bit uncomfortable.
Other than that small detail, it was a nice experience and I would still recommend this place for its great location and kind staff.
The reception at Ocean vida resort was exceptional. All of the employees are extremely helpful and quick to respond to our needs. The water pressure in the shower is a bit weak, and it’s still a bit salty, but that would be true for all places in Malapascua.

We thouroughly enjoyed our stay at Savoy. Usage of the beach/pool is included with the rooms. Dinner was fantastic. I had a problem with the room card and the elevator. Sometimes it would not read and missed my floor.
The staff was hard working especially during the breakfast buffet because it was so crowded may guests had to wait for tables. It was Father's Day and the last weekend before school started.
Other than that everything was great. Thank you.
First look on their IG and I knew I had to book this for my father’s 61st bday. Everytime we were at the hotel, it was a struggle between “I want to make the most out of this relaxing haven of pure green lush and, no let’s go outside and be with the locals”. My family fell in love with this hotel to the point that we want to go back just to stay here. The restaurants in their place are all so great too. Our favorite is Si Senor.
During my 3-night, 5-day trip to Bohol, I stayed at Northzen for 2 nights. It was unfortunate that it cost almost twice as much as usual because it was the ***** New Year holiday, but… It was the best choice I made during my trip to Bohol, and I had a great time~~.
Both the sunrise and the sunset were beautiful. The sea reflected the shadow of the sky, and the beautiful scenery was amazing. Personally, I liked the sunrise better.
You have to take a tuk-tuk to get to Alona Beach (15 minutes/200 pesos), but the beach side feels a bit complicated… The leisurely and relaxed atmosphere of Northzen really makes you feel like you’re on a high-class vacation. I think it’s perfect for those who want to take their time.
I suffered from seasickness after the hopping tour, but I was able to choose porridge from the breakfast menu. The porridge was so delicious and perfect for Korean tastes.
A great hotel for its price. The territory is ”fabulous”, the staff is very friendly. I will also note the comfort of the rooms and excellent breakfasts. I initially booked for a day, but then extended it. I highly recommend it
This is the best resort that makes you fall in love with Siquijor. I think it was enough compensation for the ferry ride that took almost 3 hours.
First of all, the accommodation consists of 5~6 private villas on two floors. Each floor has a queen-sized bed, so up to 4 people can stay. The furniture in the rooms and the bathroom are well-prepared in many ways. One thing that is disappointing is that there is no hair dryer.
The biggest advantage of this place is probably the restaurant with the best view. The breakfast and the regular meal menu were all delicious, and the price was reasonable. Above all, all the staff were really friendly. Despite my limited English skills, they understood me and welcomed me, so I didn't feel burdened at all.
One tip: they don't accept cards or dollars, and only accept pesos. I was really embarrassed because they said the nearest currency exchange office was near the port (500 pesos one way by tuk-tuk). The owner happened to have something to do in the city, so I was able to solve the problem thanks to them exchanging money for me. Thank you for everyone!

Very Good
PPaul and AmandaWe are a couple traveling Cebu, and regretfully we only stayed at AOSMEC for one night. We wish we could have explored the area more.
Pros: This hotel was very clean and new. The pillows and mattress were extremely comfortable and the AC cooled the room well.
The staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was Philippine style and amazing. I had pork, rice, egg, and coffee. My wife had fried chicken, rice, egg, and water.
We did not swim in the short time we were at AOSMEC, but there was a pool.
Cons: The shower did not have hot water, which I did not mind. But my wife had a little trouble as she is more accustomed to a warmer shower.
We would stay at AOSMEC again.
Mmariel finthe place was so nice and people were accommodating my family very well. i am currently staying in japan and i booked this hotel for my family for there new year vacation and when they got there the confirmation booking was smooth and my mom told me that even the staff there often ask if they're comfortable with the room and if they lack something like knife or basic utensils because they can lend them there's. When my mom ask for a possible motorcycle rent one of the staff did not hesitate to provide solutions and shared amazing spots that must be visit within the area free of charge and provided tips on how to get there. the wifi was never a problem. the room was clean and the towels smell amazing. Overall i would recommend this place specially with its budget friendly prize and the people there are nice. :) leave a like if this helps :D
ЛЛюдмила@We stayed for three days, I don't even know how to describe it correctly, the location is very beautiful, cozy! But the room, of course 🤔, no kettle, no glasses, dirty, one large towel, sockets did not work, no Wi-Fi in the room, in general, we finished our stay, although we initially thought to extend it, we definitely don't want to go back there(((
GGuest UserWhat an amazing find! Location is quiet with good rooms and lots to do there. The views from the restaurant are fantastic and the food is also excellent. The breakfast is nice and we had an early check out at 4am and they even left a breakfast for us to take without us asking which was a lovely touch! The shop is great with local gifts made on site and the coconut ice cream is so so so good (spicy ginger especially amazing)! The rooms are a great size and comfy with good AC. Hot water wasn’t great but after a day in the sun a colder shower was welcome. The only thing lacking here is a beach but there are drivers outside the farm to take you around or they can organise a trip/ scooter rental. In this price range, this is one of the best places we’ve stayed. Will definitely be back. Thank you
EEmmanuel SarmientoThe place is quiet, good for people who like relaxation in a tranquil environment. The room is okay, I got a small ne but it was enough for me since I came as a solo. However, I don‘t understand why it was so hard to hail a tricycle going to this place, no matter how near it actually is. Even the tricycles from there won‘t pick you up even when it‘s not yet fully occupied. So far my stay was good. I was able to work in my room, I just wished they have something like a study table where guests who needs to work remotely can work. Also, it would be nice if you know how to drive a motorbike and hold a driver‘s license. Cause going to the places there back in forth can be really hard when commuting only, unlike when you can rent a motorbike, you can go anywhere, anytime without a hassle.
AAlexAbout the room: Price is around 2,200Pesos (40 USD) per night for 2 people. They dont provide hair dryer, slippers in rooms. There're only 2 towels, no mat for CR. Air-con is Philippine traditional style which means it's somehow noisy but acceptable. The utilities in toilet are poor. Luckily they still have hot water even though the shower head is not functioning well.
They let us check in early (11am) because there's available room.
The best thing about this resort is the view. It's stunning and adorable. I enjoy taking a rest here.
Food in restaurant is also quite affordable.
The location is not far from the Consuelo port, but it costs 300peso (5USD) to ride a tricycle 1 way (hotel to port).
PPiwaaiweierFacilities: There are swimming pools, restaurants, billiards, and the equipment is old and acceptable. Clothes can be dried at the door.
Environment: Very good. The room and bathroom are big enough. If you have enough budget, you can choose the Bathala Resort next door, which has a better environment. The two hotels are connected, interconnected, and have the same style. It feels like they are owned by the same hotel.
Service: I booked a triple room with two beds, a queen bed and a sofa bed, with a fitted sheet, and an extra bed fee of 100 RMB per day was charged. Although it is clearly stated on the confirmation page, I feel that the price/performance ratio has dropped. Every day there is a cat lying at the door asking to be petted.
HHelenLenThe location of the hotel is not the best. The room I stayed was facing a very noisy road filled with traffic noise and it’s surrounded by local houses with noisy roosters that start at 3:30 am. There’s no swimming pool as it shows in the pictures. It’s under frozen construction which was right over my room. There’s no hot shower.
The owner is very sweet and welcoming! Very nice lady Ruby. She gave many useful tips about the island and helped with booking the diving course.
If you’re not a diver, this place is not the best option for you. There’s not much to do on the island. It’s very undeveloped and there’s are only few stops to enjoy the beach life.
GGuest UserA 0.5 night stay that I booked in a hurry because I had too much time left before departure
The location is really great. It's less than a minute away from a currency exchange and close to Arona Beach
But there were a few mosquitoes in the room.
The bathroom water sometimes doesn't come out and the water pressure is weak. Just a place to rest
YouTube and Netflix are supported, so that's good
