Room is quite spacious, love the design. The mosquito net however opens by itself around an hour after closing. The bus stop from Voss to Gudvangen is just in front of the hotel, so it’s very convenient for Norway in a Nutshell travellers.

The share toilet and shower were always clean. Rooms The beds are very comfortable and the duvet makes it feels as you sleep on a cloud. Location It is one train station away from Voss Sentrum. The area around the hotel is very peaceful and quiet. Decor I loved all the objects on display in the hallway and the rooms. It looks like a museum! Café There is a very cozy coffee downstairs to watch tv or warm up by the wood fire. They have cakes, donuts coffee... I absolutely want to go there again. When I go back to Norway that place is where I want to be!!!

There is no kettle in the room. I asked the front desk for one, but was told that it is not available in standard rooms, only in superior rooms. At this price, they don't provide a kettle even if there is one, which is really annoying😫 To be honest, the hotel is very soundproof, and I can't hear the sound of planes taking off and landing. My room is not on the airport side.

Fantastic stay at Quality Hotel Sogndal. Staff at reception, breakfast and bar were all very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Room was very clean, and well layed out, all necessities available, and mattresses, duvets and pillows excellent. The hotel has three restaurants, we tried only Vagal (excellent burgers) and Pergola (lovely pastas and pizzas), and really enjoyed the food and wine on offer. Loved our stay at the Quality - will definitely come back again!
