Such a wonderful stay at Hakuba! Service by Mariott stuff was excellent. Shuttle bus arrived on time and the luggages up the bus and to our room. The room had an in-room onsen which was super! There was a quiet camping ground beside where my family spent half a day building snowman and playing. We could call for pizza food delivery on the first day. Convenience store was quite a walk away but manageable if the snow wasn’t so thick.

The location isn't particularly convenient. Walking uphill is required, and the hotel is nestled in the woods. It can be a bit intimidating if you go after dark. It's best to eat breakfast and dinner in your room, or bring some food back to the hotel for your own meals. There aren't many restaurants near the hotel, and getting around is inconvenient without a car.

Located just within 3min from Yudanaka station, Raki Onsenryokan is run by a Chinese family. As a quiet town on its own, no one was tending to the reception when I arrived, after ringing the bell, a lady came down to help with the check in - very straightforward. I believe the family stays in the same building as they said if we ever needed anything, we could just ring the bell at the reception. Obviously I had booked a room too big for a solo traveller as this was the only room left as ”non-smoking”. Toilet and sink are at two different parts of the room which was a little inconvenient. Ryokan offers free drive (15min) TO snow monkey park, but not return, so please cater at least 35min to walk from park exit to the bus stop. Ryokan also provided a hearty breakfast, overall for the price paid it was a decent stay!

It’s the photos taken by mobile phones inside and outside the store. The small hotel run by the old couple is not far from the Yudanaka tram terminal. In the town of hot springs, it’s good to have a 24-hour hot spring bathhouse. The owner is very good. Gentle was able to personally drive us to the foot of the mountain in the Wild Monkey Park to see the monkeys washing in the hot springs. It is a lot more convenient for us. Shared toilets are the place I am least used to, but overall I am satisfied.

For some reason, all the nearby hotels were full or expensive, even though it was not autumn leaves, and I decided to stay here near Kiso Fukushima. The meal was delicious with room meals. The bath is the size of two people. It was too hot to throw half of the hot water and fill it with water. w Toilet with washing toilet seat Since there is only yukata, jerseys are necessary in winter. I discovered this gem on Xiaohongshu, and it was even more stunning in person than in the photos! The hotel is nestled in a tranquil forest within a private villa area, complete with a secluded path that leads directly to Hoshino Onsen and Harunire Terrace. The interior design is incredibly thoughtful and tasteful; the kitchen and tableware, in particular, were exquisitely chosen and felt very high-quality. The bedding was so unbelievably soft and comfortable, it felt like sleeping on clouds! Every detail revealed impeccable taste. I was so impressed, I even asked the owner where they sourced some of the items, haha! It was an incredibly satisfying stay, and I'm already planning my next visit with friends!

Service and hygiene have always been of Japanese standard. The brother at the front desk is still driving in the snow and we go to the convenience store to buy things. Location, 5 minutes to Wulong Snow Resort, it was an excellent location. But what needs to be done is the big environment. Because I used to go to Niseko, Hokkaido, there are very convenient restaurants, shopping, and convenience stores nearby. But Baima Wulong is very barren here. It takes 10 minutes to walk to the nearest restaurant, which is very unsuitable. Of course, this hotel has nothing to do with itself

WWuyayizhiThe hotel's pick-up service at Yudanaka Station gave a very good first impression. Although the facilities are a bit old, the service is very warm, the room is very large, and there is a private hot spring. Every morning, the hotel also picks up guests to the Snow Monkey Park for free. However, there is a small flaw in the service I personally encountered. When I checked in, the hotel informed me that the return time from the Snow Monkey Park was 12 noon, just in time for the 12:30 bus back to Nagano, but in fact it became 12:30 the next day. I had to take the next bus back to Nagano. Because there were fewer buses, it was about an hour and a half late.
