My stay here was absolutely terrible. The worst part was when the cleaning staff entered my room without knocking or permission while I was still inside. This was a severe invasion of my privacy and made me feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe.
Furthermore, the hotel's service was disappointing. They charged an extra fee for luggage storage, which was not clearly stated during booking. This felt very unreasonable and like a 'hidden charge.'
Overall, this hotel has significant issues with basic service standards and customer experience, making it hard to trust. I will not be staying here again and do not recommend it to others.

New renovation and very quiet room if window face to backyard. Room is quite small, even a bit difficult to open one 26” suitcase . Breakfast is quite good choice but everyday the same.
Good location but still a bit far to walk to St. Stephen’s church and Parliament, but also not worth to take bus or metro, take time to go between station and target location, then only 2-3 stations, not really saving time.
Stay 4 nights, the cleaning lady didn’t vacuum clean floor everyday, still much hair on floor. Also, not refill coffee and tea, and only one bottle of water for the whole stay.
Booking an Ibis in Europe is generally a safe bet. The room was a bit cramped but the price was excellent. The bathroom had a slight odor coming from the drain, and as expected, the hairdryer was an old model. The staff were all incredibly nice.
Title: Super quiet & comfy despite being right by the airport – great for a pre-flight stay
Rating: 4/5 stars
Stay date: May 2026 (one night)
Room type: Double Room
Review:
I stayed here for one night on my way back from a business trip, catching an early flight the next morning. The hotel is very new – it only opened last year, so everything feels fresh, clean, and modern.
The good:
· The double room was well-designed. The bed is noticeably high, which allows you to store luggage underneath – a smart use of space.
· Despite being extremely close to the airport, the room was very quiet. I had one of the best night's sleeps I've had in an airport hotel – the bed is genuinely comfortable. I woke up feeling fresh and ready for my flight.
· The hotel shares an entrance with the Ibis Styles Airport Hotel, so it's easy to find. There's a shuttle to the terminal but I walked as it is very near and I only had a hand carry.
Breakfast (continental buffet):
Standard continental fare – local pastries, cheese, cold cuts, bread, etc. But the selection of fruits and salads was quite limited. Also, the layout is a bit odd: the food stations are scattered all around the dining area instead of one central buffet line. Takes a minute to figure out where everything is, but the quality was fine.
Verdict:
For a convenient, quiet, and comfortable airport hotel, this is excellent value for money. It's not a luxury resort, but it does exactly what you need – a great night's sleep near the runway. I would definitely book again.
We had an amazing stay at The Corinthia. We received a warm welcome on arrival and a room upgrade as we were staying for a week. It was my birthday and Christmas during our trip and the hotel team left treats in our room for both occasions. All the staff we encountered were helpful and friendly. The bar area was a great place to relax after a day of exploring. Aspects of our room were a little tired and if I had paid for this room type I may have been slightly disappointed. It's easy to get around in Budapest as the public transport is brilliant, reliable and regular. There is a tram stop outside the hotel with the nearest metro station only a short walk away.
The location is good but the hotel itself is located above the club which makes it quite a noisy and not so comfortable place to stay. The room lacked a lot of facilities such as shampoo and bathing stuff as well as the hair dryer, towels were not enough etc. In all it was decent. Nice view from our hotel room too
Front desk is super! I needed to see a doctor or get some medication on Good Friday which was a public holiday. The duty manager and front desk staff assisted me with an address for a 24h pharmacy located out of the city centre by train. I managed to get the medication eventually, as well as see the community neighbourhood too on a quiet Friday morning.
The room I stayed in faced the Parliament building and morning sun too. It was very warm despite with the AC turned on and lasted even through the nights we stayed. Our request for a fan helped a little to ventilate the room. But this may be just the problem for the room we stayed in. Housekeeping staff is nice and pleasant. The standard of beds made was only average. But perhaps, this was the expected standard for Novotel hotels in Budapest. Other than these, the room view facing the Danube was amazing and the location is near to Castle District. Our stay was pleasant overall.
We stayed one night at the Benczur Hotel, a building nestled on the beautiful street of the same name. The location was fantastic, quiet, peaceful, and gentle, situated in the diplomatic district, home to many embassies, consulates, ambassadorial residences, and headquarters of international organizations in Budapest. It was just a few minutes' walk to Heroes' Square and City Park with many of the city's landmarks. It was also very close to Bajza Utca station, the yellow M1 line (Europe's oldest metro line), which runs into the city center in a few minutes. The 3-star hotel was quite old, but well-maintained, the quality was still very good, clean, tidy, and the rooms were spacious enough. The traditional European breakfast was also quite varied and suitable for many people. We had a very good night's sleep in Budapest! We will definitely return. Thank you so much!
My overall experience at the Park Inn by Radisson Budapest was decent. The hotel's location is quite convenient, with easy access to public transport and attractions nearby. The room was generally clean, and the facilities met basic accommodation needs.
However, the service didn't quite meet my expectations. During my stay, staff responsiveness was slow, and they weren't proactive enough in addressing guest requests and issues. The overall service attitude felt rather indifferent. While all problems were eventually resolved, the process wasn't smooth, and I didn't feel particularly valued as a guest.

Great
@@travel_with_the_sunI had a great stay. The staff is very friendly and check-in is quick. Rooms & bathrooms are very clean. Housekeeping is doing a good job. The internet speed is very satisfying. I enjoy the kitchen, which offers plenty of space, well equipped and it even has an oven. I stayed there several times and like it very much. Location is also great, very central and you have all you need just nearby (supermarket, restaurants, snacks/fast-food...)
There could be some more activities initiated by the hostel to get people connected. Like cooking, boardgame night, etc...There is a WhatsApp Group, but at the moment I joined the group there were no activities/ chats in the 5 days I've been there.
@@travel_with_the_sunVery chaotic and confusing check-in process. Arrived before check-in and got registered, just needed to get my key at check-in time. So far so good. At check-in time I am directed to an iPad terminal to register with with my name and my booking number from the accommodation, not then one on the booking portal, which I've no clue which it is. After me struggling to look-up this number out of countless CRM-emails I received from the Hostel the friendly staff member, looked up my name in the guest list, went back to the receptionist desk to check my check-in amd got my key card to my room.
Arrived in the room it didn't matched with the category and pictures I booked. Went back down to the reception, who fixed it. All this took a lot of time and not to mention all the Welcoming and Info-e-mails you receive from Maverick's at any occasion of the ”customer journey” process.
To the management and marketing folks there: Keep your check-in process simple. Your visitors are offered to pre-check-in online or at an iPad terminal in the lobby, just to end up queuing again at the reception to identify yourself again, pay the tourist tax or get their key card. It's nonsense. Have a vending machine spitting out the keycard for those cases. Just keep the regular check-in process as anywhere else directly at the reception with showing your passport etc... Stop these insane amount of email at every step of the customer journey, no-one needs this ot also makes it difficult to find one's relevant booking information.
Let's come to the positive part.
Staff is friendly and helpful.
My room was very nice, clean and comfortable, it was a good deal to. Good internet. The kitchen is great, well equipped and a nice place to connect with people. Free coffee and tea, also a water dispenser in the lobby - great!
There are many free activities organized by the hostel, we had a wine tasting for free and it was nice to talk to other guest there. Location is central, where you'll find all you need, even mini marts open 24/7. Free locker before and after check-in.
말말라가오렌지Good
1. Location was amazing, i could reach commercial area easily by walking, but it’s a bit far from the parliament, around 20 mins walk
2. Breakfast included, buffet breakfast with normal breakfast choices e.g. scrambled eggs, croissant, etc
3. Was clean and quiet
Needs some improvement
1. It was a bit crowded at the lobby when I arrived so had to wait for check in
2. The shape of the room was a bit odd, i don’t if it was only mine but the window was so small to call it as a window

Very Good
戴戴隽言My stay at Dormero Hotel Budapest was very pleasant. The hotel is ideally located, within walking distance of the city center and many major attractions, such as the Danube River, the Chain Bridge and the Holocaust Memorial. There are also many good cafes and restaurants around, and the transportation is also very convenient.
The whole room is very clean and tidy, full of modernity, and the color matching is simple but warm. The bed is comfortable, the pillow is soft, and the sleep quality is very good. The bathroom is clean, the hot water is sufficient, and the towels and toiletries are of good quality. The most special thing is that the room is equipped with a free minibar, which replenishes mineral water and several drinks every day, which makes me feel very considerate.
The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful, and the check-in and check-out are very efficient. Although some employees are not particularly fluent in English, there is no big problem in communication, and the service attitude is sincere.
GGuest UserThe location was perfect, there were a lot of supermarkets and restaurants nearby, and the staff were very friendly ☺️ And the room was very spacious and clean, the shower was comfortable, and the price was great.. 🤍🖤👍🏿
+ All the drinks in the fridge were free.
GGuest UserWe chose this accommodation for a family trip, as it was a great escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The cleanliness and friendly staff were top-notch. However, in cold weather, traveling by train or public transportation from the airport can be a bit inconvenient.
If you prefer the quiet of the Buda area, this is a great choice.
GGuest UserA beautiful place, not the first time we stay with the family in this hotel. This time we took a room more, it is beautiful, but it turned out to be 6 et, and the elevator up to 5 et. Next, the screw staircase under the roof. We had 3 big suitcases, it is not very convenient to pull them down the stairs. Bike number.also as a recommendation of the hotel administration, add a teapot and at least a few tea or coffee bags to the room (which is the usual practice in good hotels). People on the road are tired and it would be nice to drink hot tea rather than to wear shopping in search.
