It provides the essential services very well: comfortable bed; hot shower ( spacious, too), clean room. It is near clubs which is noisy in the night, but it is not something bothering me much. After closing the window, I fell asleep soon. I will ask for a room opposite next time.

The breakfast is delicious, the surrounding environment is good, and the transportation is convenient. The fly in the ointment is that the heating of the room is sometimes absent, and the hotel has a message difference with the reservation platform: we chose the suggestion plan given by the platform to order two different room types for three nights (the first two days a room, the third day b room), but the hotel said that we ordered one (lower price), If it wasn't for us insisting on asking, they seemed to want to ignore the difference and let us stay in the same room for three consecutive nights. Finally solved the problem, but it still made people feel a bit unpleasant.

The property and the ambience is lovely. The view from the restaurant garden is very pleasant and beautiful. The room size, bathroom size and amenities were good. We faced 1 major problem to be precise which made us a bit sore. Cleanliness - the room was clean except for the carpet. It didn’t feel like it was vacuumed. There was probably a pet staying in that room before us and there was a lot of hair on the carpet. I understand it is a pet friendly property and I have absolutely no problem with that. But cleaning the room properly before the next checkin is a basic expectation. We couldn’t step on the floor without our feet being covered with hair. Apart from that, everything else was very good. Breakfast was also good and the customer service was very polite and hospitable as well.

Cross the bridge and go straight to the shopping area. Not far from the car, there is a weekend second-hand market. Breakfast is delicious. The room is clean and the window is full of spiders.

After climbing the scafell pike, we went straight to this hotel. The staffs were really kind especially to the old man. You can really see the passion in his work . The hotel was amazing because it’s clean and well maintained. They also have a restaurant so you don’t have to go outside to look for a food which is really inconvenient idea for those who are tired from climbing. I guess we tried to book for an uber eats, deliveroo etc but they don’t have it in that area. The food was great and they have a free breakfast as well.

An amazing hotel with friendly helpful staff. Room comfortable with a large bathroom. The food was tremendous and I recommend the steak and ale pie.

The room was clean and hygienic. I found two socks left by previous guests in the room. The location is good. There is a supermarket next to it, which is convenient. There is also free parking. Other things are generally OK.

房間在餐廳樓上，廁所裏瀰漫著廚房飄上來的味道，住了幾天之後，所有掛着的衣服上都有了這個廚房的味。連續幾天都有蒼蠅或者密封進房間，很難趕走。房間説有10平米，但是相當轉不開身。餐廳環境很不錯，早餐選擇很豐富，量大，服務員態度非常好。

Outstanding, I had a superb stay ,the George is unique Whilst, having a timeless aspect ,magnificent historic building it has modern features, and aspects,that make it very comfortable. The best hotel experience, I have had for year's, I am looking forward to staying again, a perfect end to my Christmas break.
