Beautiful hotel with a short walking distance to the Lourdes Sanctuary. Rooms are comfortably appointed under the Accor hotel group. A delicious breakfast was made available each morning. Our group of 51 also had dinner in the hotel restaurant, also very good. I was very pleased with this hotel.

Petit déjeuner copieux servi avec gentillesse. Nous garderons un excellent souvenir de la suite Laurette (c'était bien):), et nous reviendrons un jour c'est certain. Merci .

We have taken a step by making the Viarhôna. The reception and the frame are enchanting. Breakfast is exceptional in a superb dining room with local products and is home. The bike room is just perfect. The tranquility of the village has seduced us.

All good but a little awkward location though near the airport, 20 euro taxi from Carcassone centre and 10 to airport. Small pool but nice to have it and smoking area out back too. Standard double room was fine, clean, adequate. And we got a duvet! A light one, just right for the weather at the time. Service was fine,breakfast was super. Bit stressed though at indefinite time of arrival of taxi to airport in the morning. Booked by receptionist. But altogether good and great value! 👍

I did a good amount of research before finding this hotel. My priority is since this was in the middle of the most horrible heatwave was air-conditioning. This hotel fully delivered. While it was 42° outside for 104°F. My room was nice and cool the entire time. My second most important criteria was strong Wi-Fi. This hotel offered very good speed. It is fiber net work therefore about 100 MB per second at the time of this writing. It allowed me to do my work with no problem. The room was nice and clean. Most of all it was very functional. Last, but not least this hotel has the NICEST staff. Lovely conversations over breakfast. Guillaume speaks English perfectly although since I speak French our conversations were mostly in French. I highly recommend this hotel.

We just spent a pleasant and excellent week in this hotel. The hotelier is very nice and very welcome. She has been able to advise us for possible visits. The rooms are very correct and very clean. The hotel is very nicely located, in the centre of the city and with a large parking, it is surrounded by pedestrian street with various restaurants and bars, so you don't need to take the car. You are maxi between 15 and 30 minutes from all major visits to do, such as Rocamadour, Cave de Presque, Gouffre de Padirac, Cave de Lacave, Farm de Siran, La Vallee des singes, Aquatic Park de Saule, Le Chateau de Montal, The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable and the hotel is very comfortable.

As other people have mentioned on here, Tarbes is not usually a destination (though we very much enjoyed our evening in this very friendly and somewhat old-fashioned city) and like others, we were also just passing through on our way to somewhere else and needed a last-minute overnight stop. We therefore considered ourselves very lucky to have found this hotel quite by chance. Yes, it's ”old fashioned” (but in the best way - owner managed and family run rather than staffed by others; beautifully-made beds with pure cotton sheets and a boutis quilt, all immaculately ironed and tightly tucked in; and YES the shoe polishing machine on the landing deserves its own mention!). However, the rooms have been fairly recently modernised - to French tastes, not yours or mine maybe, but they are super clean, spacious and very well-equipped with air conditioning, hair dryers, powerful shower, safe, fridge etc. The biggest selling point for us, though, was the owner, who grew up in the hotel when it was run by his mother, and whose warm and friendly welcome set the tone for a very happy stay. He is an absolute gem, and was full of local knowledge and recommendations. The hotel is within easy walking distance of a good choice of restaurants and bars, but even sleeping with the windows open, we were not disturbed by any street noise as another review mentions - maybe because our room overlooked the interior courtyard. Finally, one review mentioned the poor breakfast - well, by French hotel standards we found it fine, with juices, cereals, pastries, cheeses, yoghurts, fruit all on offer and in abundance.

Chambre septième étage avec terrasse privée équipée d'un petit salon de jardin et une magnifique vue sur la ville et sur la chaine des Pyrénées . Quel beau moment que le coucher de soleil en direct !! La chambre est agréable, bien isolée du bruit , climatisation, salle de bain neuve et WC à part (un + apprécié) L'accueil est très bon, le personnel est attentif . Bravo nous savons où nous irons lorsque nous reviendrons à Tarbes !
