Pet Friendly Hotels in Saxony, Germany

Not the cleanest, noisy guests... Some guys woke me up at am speaking spanish and someone laid on my bed after I did it... Fortunately the staff gave me new linen so it was at least clean again. Please, if you don't have manners, don't stay in a hostel!

3min walk from main station and 1 min walk to tram station that offer connection to the old town. The hotel is also surrounded by numerous food and retail, some even open till midnight. The room I was given has its window facing the old town and I can see numerous towers just in my room. The facility is new and functioning, just that I would need a kettle in doors to have hot drinking water but it doesn’t have. Other than that, the cleanliness gives an extra soothing effect. Best worth for money.

Very friendly staff and easy check in. The hotel room was big and clean. For some people it may take some time to get used to the shower in the middle of the room. But I found it very cool.

The environment is very good, the place is very quiet, and it is a very cost-effective youth hostel. The open kitchen is well equipped and suitable for cooking. The room is large and well decorated. Not bad.

The parking lot is located in the underground parking lot below the square. Follow the icon. The hotel does not express it! Breakfast is OK, location is very good

We are on a 10 day tour of Germany on self help mostly by trains plus some driving. The hotel is absolutely nice and comfortable. 800m walking directly to the Central Station. Interesting places of interest are within 10-15 minutes itinerary. Service is awesome and we got a nice packs of takeaways for our breakfast as we leave early at 5:30an train.

The hotel is centrally located, the environment corresponds to the character of Chemnitz. The rooms are equipped with good facilities, the bathroom has sufficient deposit facilities. The disadvantage was that of the 4 elevators maximum 3, mostly only 2 were in operation, which leads especially in the morning ( breakfast and check-out) to unpleasant long waiting times.

The corridor to our room was a bit dated and carpet stained but the room was good enough. The breakfast was very good with a wide selection of fresh foods but a larger toasting machine is definitely required. A 2 slice toaster for a large breakfast crowd is definitely not enough. I gave up waiting to toast my bread, as did several other people. Overall a good place to stay.

The only positive thing about this hotel were the room, big and spacious, and the location, super central. Although the moquette is unhygienic. I always appreciate a luggage rack but one in a room for 2 people is ridiculous. We also got unlucky with the bathroom as the shower curtain was mounted wrong so taking a shower meant creating a lake in the bathroom. The hotel is not very well organised, we had to wait a lot to check-in and when it was finally our turn, even though the room was ready, we would have had to pay to check in earlier for mere 50 minutes. Embarrassing. We left the luggages and came back later and had to queue again with all the guests that had just arrived, for more than half an hour. We only needed the key cards, we already did all the paperwork. They preauthorised 50€ per night on our cards, in case we wanted to use the room service or the restaurant, which we explained we didn’t. And if you looked at the room service menu, you wouldn’t want to as well.. I would expect a famous chain like the Hilton to know that “Taglietelle Carbonara” doesn’t exist, it’s “Spaghetti carbonara” or “Rigatoni alla carbonara”. Furthermore “Spaghetti bolognese” doesn’t exist as well, it’s “tagliatelle bolognese”. There’s a pool but it’s unclear if it’s available to every guest. The staff is not keen on divulging information. It would be nice if more of the staff would be able to speak English (and maybe a third language) as a lot of the guests are tourists from other countries.
