i love this hotel! Located right next to the main train station, which is the main reason i chose this hotel as I didn’t want to haul my big suitcases to the old town.
We arrived at about 2pm but was told that I could not check in “early” as the rooms are still being cleaned. We took our time to eat our breads at the sofa and approached the counter again at 2.34pm but was told the same thing. Guess the hotel is not so flexible to allow “early” check in 🫠 ok then we stored our baggage’s and went to the old town first. Also the staff could have told us that we could enjoy free transportation in the town if we joined the H Rewards when he told us how to go to the old town by “buying a ticket at ticket machine for tram #5”, only for me to find out when I browsed the internet. That would save us many euros.
Other that above points, I love this hotel! Super new super clean, the lobby was pleasant, the room design made super sense (with USB type C provided, rain shower and toilet were great too. Also, was pleasantly surprised with the good window view of the train station (but remember to close the window as it is noisy esp at night).
Overall, am pleased with my choice of this hotel.
Very good price to quality ratio at an excellent location. The hotel is near the train station and several tram stops. Parking building are at a few 100 meters by foot. In a few minutes by foot you reach the busy streets of Mannheim.
The personnel is very friendly and helpful.
We've now stayed here for the third time. For over three years, neither the bar nor the rather pleasant dining room has been open. Anyone expecting these amenities will currently be disappointed. The front desk is staffed by constantly changing individuals who don't appear to be hotel employees. Since this year, guests are asked via signs at breakfast to clear their own tables. All of this points to a significant staffing issue. The service is okay, but not the friendliest. I highly doubt anyone working here has any formal hospitality training. We are now aware of these circumstances. For us, it offers space, seating, a private bathroom, and a bowling alley if you want one. It's clean and quite affordable. The breakfast buffet is quite good. Furthermore, it offers special rooms for families, which we also liked. The location is suburban, which suits us. It seems to attract many travelers passing through, as it's not far from the highway, yet it's very quietly situated.
I liked the location, because it’s close to tram. Supermarket Kaufland is close to the hotel, around 5 minutes walking from hotel.
Unfortunately I was sad because of no-cleaning policy, but since it’s apartments, it’s acceptable.
On 2nd day there was a fire alarm in the whole hotel, so we has to go outside and wait. We couldn’t understand the reason of fire alarm.
The room is small, maximum for 2 people.
Utilities are provided. But you need to buy nespresso capsules for coffee machine.
You can stay in this hotel until 5 days, in my opinion.
The location is not so central but the bus stop is located a few steps from the hotel. And for people who love to stretch their legs like we do, you can walk to the center maybe aprroximately 30 minutes. The room was clean and got the basic things that we need. The buffet is enough and decent.
In our second day of stay there was a lady who went inside our room without even knocking. She is bringing some fresh towels. Maybe she was mistaken but it is MANDATORY that she knocks before coming inside any room. Btw, we did not order for fresh towels.

Very good, clean and comfortable, with a good sense of space; water is expensive in Europe, so I added extra purified water; the external environment is beautiful~
All in all, not a terrible stay. When we first got there to check in the front desk was closed even though it was 5pm and check in was until 10, and the automatic check in machine was broken with a note on it to pick up our room keys at the hotel across the street. We went there and they had no idea what we were talking about so we had to carry our luggage back across the street after contacting trip.com who replied IMMEDIATELY (thank you guys so much your customer service is incredible!) we got the number to call the hotel after hours and it turns out they forgot to leave our keys so they sent someone back over to let us into our room. We got into our room and it wasn’t the room we booked, it was a room in the attic that on one side I couldn’t even stand up without hitting my head (I’m 5”3) but it had AC and it was a place to rest our heads so it could wait until morning. The next day when we came down we mentioned the room error and the look the first guy gave me was full of contempt, so his customer service was awful. I know I don’t look like a conventional woman with my hair and tattoos and I understand different cultures can collide but that’s fine, though when the manager came to talk to my fiancé his attitude perked up a bit and he found a smile. They got us in the correct room and this room was a normal size but the ac unit for that room is a portable roll about one that the hose wasn’t sticking out the window with the netting correctly and they tried to come fix it (duct tape) but then the hose broke but my fiancé found a way to shove it out the window and it took awhile to get the room cooled down but then it was great. After that the rest of the trip went well, the woman with the copper/red hair was super nice and overall we really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was a really good breakfast and the hotel is in a great location with secure parking. Check out Lino’s around the corner for fantastic drinks and the döner place downstairs is killer.
It’s most important that most Germans don’t approve of AC so keep that in mind if that’s important to you that you double verify where you book. All the trouble aside we would definitely stay here again, just don’t count on the blow dryer in the room or the AC to work and room service may need to be requested multiple times.

The facilities are new and clean. It is good for a short stay on a business trip. The room is not big and has a mini kitchen. The room does not come with a kettle, but you can borrow it from the front desk. There is no cleaning and garbage disposal every day. The breakfast variety is relatively small, and the fruit is very fresh. The front desk staff is very friendly and responsible, but they are not good at arithmetic. The underground parking lot is 10 euros a day, and you can also park on the roadside, so as not to affect private parking spaces. There is a gas station nearby, and there are also charging piles, which are about 200 meters away from the hotel.

GGuest UserI enjoy my stay at super 8. It is clean and comfortable. I have nothing to complain, so much so I extended another night on top of the original booking. ( This is not critique more like user feedback-- sometimes only those who uses it would notice and hope hotel could look into it ) The water outflow at the sink and the bath place seems slower than the water flow from the tap hence could flood easily. Perhaps could use some unclogging. If there is anything one want to ” pick on” ( personally I don't think there is any), this place is about 30mins or 2.2km walk from the hbf train station. You could either take a stroll and admire the scenery on the way, or if you dislike walking, take tram no2 which cost mere €2.90 one way, less than 10 mins ride.
GGuest UserExcellent, friendly front desk personell. Clean ”for the most part”. With that said: now the ”MAIN” part of the hotel is starting to look like a city in the Ukraine with displaced Ukrainians everywhere so much so that some service staff are Ukrainian = does not speak German or English - baby carriages left in the hallway(s) in front of the door. It's the luck of the draw if there's a couch and chair in the room. Hot water pressure in the shower was very low. On the plus side MINI bar still has a vasriety of FREE drinks:-)
朱朱怡麟123Hotel-style reservations for others, it is said that the location of the hotel is very close to the local factory, and the local factory recommended this hotel. The room with the breakfast should still be very good. There is no complaint after coming back. It should be a very good hotel. The PS cancellation policy is very loose~ You can cancel the change on the check-in day 1800, which is quite powerful.
GGuest UserThis time I traveled for a short time in Europe and stayed at the best hotel. Very good and good service. It is best to have a thin blanket.
During this short business trip to Europe, I stayed at the best hotel. It was excellent, and the service was great. The only thing I wish was that they had a thin blanket.
月月儿吾爱Hotel location is good, but relatively old. The staff was friendly. After checking in, the balcony window was broken and the hotel changed the room in time. It is not recommended.
GGuest UserThe staff was very nice! However, the light in the room did not go through a steam lamp, the refrigerator did not work, just like the air deduction in the toilet. Had on Saturday when we came from a wedding the feeling our toilet was used several times. At the weather of course extremely pleasant. The floor apparently sticked only with cleaning. The smink mirror was not useful because a screw was missing.
EEugen WiebeThe hotel is very quiet and close to the pedestrian area. Directly at the parking house for 8,50 for 24 hours.
Clean carefully and very cheap. Coffee and tea always gave it free.
We were very satisfied.
