This hotel is just a few minutes' walk from Dukezong Ancient Town. Its Wabi-sabi style decor is tasteful and chic, and the quality truly rivals hotels that cost 2,000 RMB a night. My friend and I stayed for two nights and we honestly didn't want to check out. We've already promised each other we'll come back to Shangri-La just for this hotel. Hope it continues to thrive!

The room was very clean, and the host was super friendly and helpful with luggage. There's also a Samoyed named Mitsu who is incredibly friendly; my kids absolutely adored her and couldn't bear to leave. The dog was very clean and well-behaved. Overall, the guesthouse was very quiet.

Choosing Yunying Chunxiao·Shuiyuan is truly a love-filled experience. The hotel is right on the shore of Erhai Lake, offering stunning views of the sea right from your window. Enjoying the sunset in the evening and falling asleep to the sound of the waves at night is incredibly therapeutic. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, with a simple yet sophisticated décor and complete with smart devices, making the stay super convenient. Our butler, Ms. Su, was incredibly attentive and helpful, assisting with itinerary planning and recommending off-the-beaten-path attractions. From breakfast and evening sweet soup, the attention to detail was impeccable. The complimentary travel photography experience was also excellent; the photographer was very professional, taking photos in the public areas that turned out beautifully, and the rooftop camera position for panoramic views of Erhai Lake was absolutely stunning. If you want to experience a truly slow-paced life in Shuanglang, this is the place to go. Highly recommended!

Great location close to many amenities !! No issue with WiFi working greatly, been watching films every night !!! Great stuff, very friendly and helpful , stayed for few weeks, never had any issues !! Walking distance to various shopping malls and night markets !! Fruit market and vegetable markets very close by !!! Very convenient transport links, buses, tube taxis, rent electric bikes/scooters, etc…! About 10 minutes, walk to the great gym with a swimming pool !!! Many Great Dental Hospitals, fixed my teeth while staying, managed to install crowns !!! Also, if have time can have a good quality implants !! Very close to Kunming Zoo, other parks a temples…!

My absolute favorite was the rooftop terrace, offering an unobstructed view of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain—every single frame is breathtaking. The room was spotless, and you can effortlessly snap postcard-worthy photos anywhere. The environment is peaceful, away from the hustle and bustle of the city center, yet it's very convenient for exploring the ancient town. Coming back to the guesthouse after a busy day just to quietly gaze at the snow mountain in a daze is a romance unique to Lijiang. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time!

My stay was exceptionally good. The place is very clean and elegant, and both the garden and the rooms are beautiful. The owner is incredibly warm and attentive, answering all my travel guide questions perfectly. The service was comprehensive! The environment is stunning, and my stay felt very cozy. There are also many coffee shops nearby to check out, and taking a stroll in the ancient city right outside is lovely. The owner generously shared her delicious food with guests. Her breakfast is fantastic, especially the rice noodles which are absolutely incredible, and the coffee is super good too! When I was there, guests came from all over, and everyone was so friendly. I even made new friends, new international friends! I plan to stay here every time I visit Dali!

This hotel was the best stay of my trip in Sichuan / Yunnan. I cherish the countryside and i was apply to go out of the city to enjoy the slow life, the real life with nature and animals. This stay gave me everything! The owners, 仁安 里 and Jiren, welcomed me like a was family. I was starving and they invited me to have dinner with them. It was really nice and i felt really included into their community. The room was spacious, luminous, and confortable with a huge bed ! I really loved staying on the sofa in the morning, when the sun was blazing. The breakfast was good and generous. My favorite day was to discover the surrounding of the hotel, walking in the village, seeing all the cute animals (cows, baby cows, dogs, cats, poneys, roosters). The owner was so considerate to me, he drove me to Shangri-La city center because no taxis were available. Visiting the old town, i was so happy to have chosen a hotel away from this touristic place. He also picked me up and drop me off at the train station. I would absolutely recommend and return to this hotel. I loved it very much. It gave me the opportunity to relax, discover ******* culture and amazing people, and live the slow life. Thanks again, and Tashi Delek !

Amazing place, super cute dogs! Honestly booked for the dogs, but the accommodation was great, room was clean and had basic amenities. The hotel owners were very accommodating, the breakfast starts at 0830 but we had to leave at 0800, so they prepared some breakfast to go earlier for us. Location is a little far from town, as there is heavy traffic during peak hour from all the photoshoots. However, it is quiet and peaceful at night.

An absolute 10/10, beyond-expectations guesthouse! Location: A quiet yet refined little courtyard nestled right in the hustle and bustle. Just a few steps through Paper Umbrella Alley brings you to the lively Sifang Street, making it super convenient to get anywhere. The guesthouse features an incredible rooftop for photos overlooking the entire ancient town—no need to wait in line at internet-famous restaurants; you can snap stunning shots right here. Room: Massively spacious, complete with a walk-in closet. The bathroom alone is huge, and the large bathtub is roomy enough for two people to soak comfortably. Disposable tub liners are thoughtfully provided, and taking a bath was so relaxing and fatigue-relieving. The tamarind juice in the mini-fridge was delicious, and after we finished it, the host even brought us a bunch more. Service: The service was so good it made me wonder how the boss is even making a profit—hang in there!! Right upon arrival, someone was there to greet us with a super detailed introduction. You could really tell that the staff genuinely love their jobs and this guesthouse. The rice noodles for breakfast were delicious, the afternoon tea cake was out of this world, and the evening peach gum dessert was also so tasty. The hosts were basically fattening me up like a little pig. Not only did they constantly provide free food and drinks, but they also offered free luggage pick-up and drop-off at the edge of the ancient town, plus a free airport transfer—and the airport is quite far away! The entire guesthouse is gorgeous with amazing aesthetics. The service isn't overwhelmingly pushy, but rather thoughtful, attentive, and warm. The boss invites guests over for tea and chats, giving it the cozy, friendly vibe of visiting a relative's home. The little Samoyed they keep at the property is also utterly adorable and very friendly. Not a single staff member bothered us to ask for a positive review from start to finish. I'm writing this a week after getting back from my trip, and I just couldn't help waking up in the middle of the night to write a glowing review. If I get the chance to visit Lijiang again next time, I will definitely stay here, and I truly hope such a heartfelt guesthouse continues to thrive!
