Pet Friendly Hotels in Taiwan, China

Overall our stay was great! This was our first time in Taiwan Kenting, we were looking for somewhere easy to go from Macau with nice holiday beach feel.  We used to go to Thailand but we wanted a change this time. Location wise it’s very convenient 2 mins walk to the night market where you have tons of food options, street stalls or restaurants wise. You have couples of 7 elevens, family mart, watsons all you need in case you forget to pack something.  There’s bus station “xiaowan” very convenient for sightseeing if you don’t rent a car. Pretty on time and big coaches very comfortable with AC. In terms of amenities, we thought the hotel could have more beach amenities, beach bar or restaurants would add a huge value for the hotel. Many families would stay all day by the beach if they have bar/restaurant. It was a shame its was closed… Also the sun lounges could be a bit more comfortable simply just add a thin cushions on top. And again would be great to have a bar for quick bite by the pool. Our room was the ground floor ones with Jacuzzi, it was a lovely touch since they don’t have bathtub in the bathroom. The little garden is a great touch for morning meditation. :) We also did a nighttime activity with the hotel by the beach to hunt crabs. It was a great activity and the staff did a great job explaining and helping out. Food wise, we had breakfast buffet in all 5 days, it was a big selection of food but not much variety. We had a lunch by lobby bar… but was not up to our taste unfortunately. There is much better options outside or hotel. Oh and they did a little decoration since it was my bday and offered a cheesecake to the room by a robot :). All in all it was a great experience hopefully they will step up the pool and beach area.

I haven't been to Youhuo for several years, and I found that the facilities and services are still the same as before, without any regression, which is great. However, during the Chinese New Year when the flu was so prevalent, during breakfast, a lot of people were walking around and picking up food without wearing masks, some were coughing, some were talking, and viruses were flying around in their saliva, which was really horrifying. Although the lockdown has been lifted now, if guests can be encouraged to wear masks when picking up food to ensure hygiene, I think people will feel more at ease to continue staying. Otherwise, people will be scared and dare not go there again. After all, there are so many accommodation options in Kenting, and the quality of the guests is also one of the reference options.

Minsu located near to hot spot town area - where u can get to 7-11 and others restaurants/fast foods, and Swiss Garden. The room is great with splendid view from window and balcony. My only issues - rare there is no toiletries provided other than body and hair shampoo, hair conditioner and body lotion. Fortunately there is 7-11 nearby. The last thing I need is to spend $ for such simple thing, which should be provided in the room. Another issue I had is the path to building is covered with feeble stones and lots of staircase. Obviously, this minsu is for lite travellers. If you carry heavy luggage, well, good luck carry it till you reach your room floor 😓 Owner need to think about travellers with heavy luggage as the path is not user friendly 😉

The location of the B&B is excellent, right next to Tangweigou, with many delicious foods nearby. There is a bright bath in the room for soaking in the hot springs. The room in the building is very comfortable. The night view on the top floor is really beautiful. I like it very much.

I came here for a trip during the 228 holiday. The room was almost fully booked, but the room was very clean and the surrounding environment was convenient. There was a 711 across the street and Brown Avenue was also close by, which could be reached by bike. On the first floor of the accommodation lobby of the main building of the Dadi Hotel, they sold Chihshang bento and some agricultural products. I thought the bento was delicious, especially when I added a plate of stir-fried kale, which was very tender and delicious! Behind the Dadi Hotel is their new building, Sui Ri. There are three osmanthus trees planted at the entrance of the new building. You can smell the faint fragrance of osmanthus when you pass by. Although the breakfast is a bit simple, it is delicious. The service of the staff is also good. The overall performance is good. I would like to stay in the new building again if I have the chance. There are currently activities in the new building. Those who are staying there recently can participate by the way. There are small gifts to receive!

The location is next to the Youluodong Night Market, a 3-5 minute walk. Although there is no parking lot, reservations can be made for 150 yuan. The B&B is clean and has an elevator. It has a high CP value and is highly recommended.

Super treasure accommodation, if you haven't been there in person, you can't imagine how beautiful and comfortable this is, I really recommend it to everyone

I went to Taiwan on May Day and stayed in the newly opened Capella Hotel in Taipei for two nights. I would like to share my experience with you. The hardware environment of the hotel is first-class. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, I could feel Capella's consistent high-end aesthetics and quality standards. The reception hall on the 14th floor is grand and stylish. The living room has both check-in and lounge functions. Whether it is checking in, meeting guests or resting, it is very decent. The atmosphere is full and the details are luxurious. The breakfast is great, worthy of the standard of a luxury hotel. Finally, after Tokyo Park Hyatt, I saw a hotel breakfast with blueberry and strawberry, which directly added points. Capella breakfast includes champagne. It was champagne oysters early in the morning. I felt a little dizzy~ Taiwan's local specialty breakfast includes egg pancakes, beef noodles and porridge. The iced latte is unexpectedly delicious. Taiwan's beverages are really amazing! However, this stay experience was not satisfactory in terms of software services. It may be because it was newly opened. The room service response speed was extremely slow. When you need something urgently, you often have to wait for a long time, which affects your mood. Because of government regulations, the room is not equipped with any disposable toiletries. Although it is understandable, it always feels like the policy is used to prevaricate the service. When you actually check in, you need a shower cap and toothpaste, and you have to call again and again... The service response is slow, which is somewhat inconsistent with Capella's high-end positioning. What makes me most dissatisfied and worried is the problem of the swimming pool. The hotel has only one outdoor swimming pool on the 14th floor. My husband went to swim at 8:30 in the morning and returned to the room with severe discomfort. His heart rate soared to 160 and he didn't recover all day. The reason is that the water temperature of the swimming pool is too high, which has exceeded the normal body temperature of 37 degrees. This is not swimming but soaking in a hot spring, but there is no lifeguard in the swimming pool, which poses a great safety hazard. The communication with the foreign manager was fruitless, and he only kept saying: ”Thank you for your advice and provide us with valuable advice~ Our lifeguard only starts work at 8:30.” Shouldn't there be lifeguards when the swimming pool is open? There is no display of key information such as water temperature, water acidity and alkalinity, and water monitoring report of the day next to the swimming pool. Guests cannot understand the water quality and water temperature of the swimming pool and it is difficult to use it with peace of mind. In general, the hardware environment of Capella Taipei is indeed excellent, but many problems with software services affect the overall stay experience.

The hotel is really good, the room is super big and super clean. The point is that the staff service is super good!  No matter what situation you encounter during the stay or during the stay, the staff is super helpful! I will definitely stay again next time.

Although there were some problems with the housekeeping on the day of check-in, they contacted the boss and the proprietress and they immediately came to deal with it. The power supply was forgotten in the hostel. They also sent it back for me immediately. They also invited us to drink coffee and small cakes.
