The room looked quite shabbier than on the pictures, everything is a bit run down and old. Floor and cupboards, also bathroom not really clean, but as always in China at least the bed sheets are clean and fresh. Price is very cheap though and the staff is helpful and friendly. We even could take our bicycles with us into our room (elevator is big enough to take them in).

I had such a great experience with Hong Lu Garden Hotel . The location is amazing and hotel staffs are very friendly & helpful. Xiao Gu gave us a very good room and we had such a good stay.We highly recommended this hotel to everyone who is coming to Xi’an for vacation !

2 of us in this room for 3 is awesome! Very spacious and could easily accommodate 3 adults. We were there in first week of November. As it was low peak season they upgraded us to this 3 person room. It even has a ladder up to a small “balcony” where one could sit to look out to the decorated rooftops. Location is really good once you figured out how to navigate. It’s right next to 书院门. There isn’t any Metro station “at the doorstep” but close enough. Coffee that they serve is also very good. Only downside I would say is the drainage flow in the shower room. Whenever one showers, the area will be flooded. So will need to give them for the water to drain before the next person goes into the shower.

Location is really good once you find the place. Can be difficult to find your room if you are coming in late and harder if mandarin isn’t your spoken language. Staff tried to help as much as he can. We changed our rooms which were in different building. Both rooms toilets smell really bad with slow water flow and suggest buildings having sewer issues. Toilet floor is slippery and can’t be rated R9. It’s a slip hazard and i will suggest coat of anti slip to prevent accidental incidents. Rooms are otherwise comfortable and you get what you pay for.

The hotel is really a block of flats so the elevator is usually packed and not particularly clean. The room was clean however but it is poorly insulated which means you have to keep the AC on full blast and ask for second quilt. The toilet is really badly designed as the water tank juts out from the side of the WC forcing you to lean your head sideways when it’s time for a leak. I it’s also freezing since the AC doesn’t reach it. The decor isn’t as nice as the photos either The location, though not particularly attractive is good as it’s central, near the subway and old town and has some convenience stores ABs restaurants nearby. For me the worst thing was the poor insulation, the cold bathroom and its bad design.

Location is the best especially for us whois muslims.. right in the middle of halal foof heaven! The house is very clean with everything that we need. Zero disturbance from the host for our entire stay. The only thing for us is that the rooms cant be warmed enough during our stay in Dec. But we had great heating in the living room area. All in, will definitely book the same stay if i to do Xian again!

This place is run by a very kind couple, they will take care of you fully through your entire stay in Huayin town! We visited Huayin to hike Huashan, and apart from taking a taxi to the guesthouse, all transport was provided by the boss - he drove us to the visitors centre for starting the hike, even coming to pick us when the ticket booth wasn’t open (Chinese public holiday) and drove us to the main visitor centre, and then he drove us to the train station on our last day. The lady boss helped to buy cableway tickets ahead of our hike so we wouldn’t have to queue. We also ate all meals here, as the food is great! The guesthouse is located in a small village at the foot of the mountain, a short walk from a small ticket booth for park tickets (only locals can buy Huashan tickets on WeChat, foreigners need to buy them in person). This ticket counter is closed on public holidays (no signs or announcements, we just bumped into some park staff who told us), so you will need to go to the main visitors centre (about 3 mins drive). You should download WeChat to communicate with the guesthouse - we messaged them and they helped to figure out what was going on, and sent a car to come get us. After descending from the mountain you may message them for pick up, but we chose to walk back to the guesthouse from the visitors centre (~10mins). It is really remote, there’s nothing much to do in the area apart from admire the views, but this is also precisely why this place is so lovely!

Very good location, 10~15 minutes walk to Bell Tower and train station. Many restaurants and eating places near by with delicious, cheap food, very convenient. Service staffs are very friendly and helpful. Only issue I had was there is not lift if your room is at 2nd level. Your need to carry your luggages using a narrow staircase. Room is very spacious compared to other hotels. I will likely to book this place again if I visit Xian again.

I traveled with my mom. We wanted to see the Terracotta Army. We had a very modern room in a calm street, close to the Terracotta Army (it is a 10 minute walk away). The girl, I am not sure who she was, I think she was an owner. A very friendly girl! ❤️By check in she walked us to show where we could eat Chinese food and by check out she showed us the way to go out of the district. Highly recommended!

Facilities: The layout is just what I wanted Hygiene: Very clean and comfortable Environment: Opposite the Qinglong Temple, there are Metro Line 5 and Line 3 at the door, which is very convenient Service: The guy at the front desk has a very good attitude.

The reception are so friendly and helpful..they help to find back the earphone that I left at room after check out The location is very convenient near to railway station and there are lots of shops downstairs

The spacious and bright room, the fresh and pleasant environment, and the spectacular mountain view outside the window make this B&B a place where we can get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy the beauty of tranquility. Even if we don't climb Mount Huashan, it's also a kind of enjoyment to lie quietly in the mountain view room. The boss is kind, the service is warm and thoughtful, the car is free to pick up and drop off, and he helps to apply for Mount Huashan tickets. It's so convenient. This is a must-choose B&B when you come to Mount Huashan. It is really worth recommending to everyone.

The hotel is full of martial arts style design from inside to outside. I like it. I chose to stay here for this reason. The hotel is clean, chivalrous and elegant. The hotel provides free pick-up service, haha. The hotel has a restaurant that can meet three meals a day, as well as a tea room, and a store and supermarket with Huashan themed products and food, which is very convenient.

The service really has nothing to say. I told the boss in advance what time I would arrive. Even when I arrived at the train station very late, the boss uncle also drove to pick me up. The uncles and aunts are very enthusiastic. If you don’t understand anything, they will tell you enthusiastically. If you want to drink when you come back from the mountain, The aunt will boil the hot water and deliver it to the room. The aunt will turn on the air conditioner. It is definitely not comparable to a big hotel, but the room is very clean. I have never commented on it. This is the first time! really good!

Please ask your sister to help me answer them: 1. For the dinner we had on the day of departure, I asked her for the bill after paying (see attached photo). It should have been 89, but she charged 90. Are we used to rounding up in our area (rather than collecting the actual number or rounding off some zeros)? 2. According to my eating experience, it seems that Mapo Tofu is made with tender tofu. The mapo tofu she served was really a bit hard, similar to the old tofu we have in the south or the cubes cut from dried tofu. Could it be that the soft tofu was used up that day? It would be more suitable to make it as home-cooked tofu instead of mapo tofu. 3. Tiger skin peppers have 4 pointed ends and 4 stem ends (that is, 4 whole peppers in a plate). I dare not say it is small, I can only say it is very southern style. Maybe I should change my impression of northern dishes being large and large, hahaha😹 (a little bit of meat floss-like ingredients are added in it, and the taste is still good👍) 4. Hot and sour cabbage...mmm... 5. Shredded pork with fish flavor tastes very good and goes well with rice, although the ingredients are a little different from the usual ones (for example, there are shredded green vegetables like shredded lettuce). When we arrived, we found that it was really at the foot of Huashan Mountain, surrounded by mountains and rivers, and the air was sweet. I got up not too early in the morning, wrapped myself in my coat, and walked around in the slightly wintery atmosphere. Huashan Mountain was shrouded in mist, the branches were full of persimmons, and the kitchen had a strong smell of meat. It was great to live here! Thanks to the boss for allowing me to eat such delicious persimmons (taught me to take off the lid, wipe it with my hands, and suck it, it’s so sweet! The important thing is that I don’t need to wash it~.~)
