JJustin宁波Here's the updated review with that additional context: Full Version We had a wonderful stay, largely thanks to one of the owners who went out of their way to organize activities for us and made our experience truly memorable. The dinner and show were fantastic—featuring original-style Mongolian traditional dance and singing that felt authentic and captivating. Both lunch and dinner were excellent, and we were especially impressed by the Lamb Bao served at breakfast. Overall, the service and warmth from the people were genuinely good. That said, all the costs were quite expensive compared to what I'm used to after living and traveling in China for more than 10 years. I would recommend the horse riding off the main area, as they suggest, but the Happy Ranch was not that fulfilling—most of the rides and activities there weren't worth the time or money. That's an external activity though, so no discredit to the hotel itself. While we didn't end up using the actual amenities, the hospitality and cultural performance alone made the visit worthwhile. Balanced Short Version (Google/TripAdvisor): Great experience thanks to one of the owners, who personally organized activities for us. The dinner and show were a highlight—original Mongolian traditional dance and singing that was unique and impressive. Food was excellent at all meals, especially the Lamb Bao at breakfast, and the staff were genuinely warm. Costs were quite high compared to what I'm used to after 10+ years in China. GGuest UserOn my trip to Inner Mongolia, I stopped in Hohhot and stayed at Yunleju for the first night. Before checking in, I called and added them on WeChat to register my license plate in advance. This allowed me to park in the underground garage for free, which was great for someone traveling by car. The downsides are that although the room was large, it was a bit dim, and the facilities were old. The TV was small, and the remote control only had one battery. The bathroom didn't have a separate wet and dry area, making it easy to slip after showering when trying to use the toilet. I suggest they provide a squeegee.

GGuest UserIf you’re staying in Hohhot and want a genuine, memorable experience, this is the place!!! I can’t recommend this homestay enough. From the moment we stepped into the compound, the warmth of the family was immediately felt. You’ll be welcomed by a lovely lady, her husband, and his brother, who treat you less like a guest and more like family. Within minutes of arriving, they greeted us with snacks, a gift, and let us know they were already preparing a local dinner. We sat down with them that evening, sharing a spread of local dishes and drinks, it was a genuinely special night. I don’t speak a word of Chinese, and yet through Translate we had a wonderful time together. Before heading to bed, they asked what time we needed to leave in the morning so breakfast would be ready for us which was very nice! Morning came with their dogs greeting us and a delicious homemade local breakfast waiting at the table. As for the yurt itself, it’s beautiful and incredibly cozy inside, exactly what you’d hope for. There’s heating in there in case you get cold as well. We stayed two nights, and on our second evening we had to turn in early for an early flight. The other guest, though, stayed up late singing and dancing with the family, which honestly made me wish we could have stayed longer. I’d give this place a 20/10 if I could. I booked it thinking it was just somewhere interesting to sleep for the night. What I didn’t know was that it would end up being a highlight of my trip to China.

AAtiegegeAll the way to the north Xinjiang wind and dust, to the grassland, Jiujia Hotel, to give the journey a gentle bottom. There is no glittering decoration, keep clean and sincere. In the morning, go to the grassland to chase the clouds, return to the city to find fireworks at dusk, Dazhao Fanyin, Zhaojun Ancient Tomb, you can easily find. The significance of the far trip is to see the vast mountains and rivers, but also to meet this kind of warm heart to live, sincerely recommend every friend from afar.

JJiangnanliliThe hotel is located right next to the central square. The room was on the second floor, and there was no elevator; the owner helped with the luggage. The room was quite large, more like a suite. The large room had two beds, and the small room had one bed, all of which were fairly spacious. There was plenty of room for luggage. Disposable towels were provided, which was a nice touch. The only problem was the showerhead; the holder for the showerhead couldn't be adjusted, so when the water was turned on, the water sprayed straight at the wall. Anyone under 1.9 meters tall couldn't get wet, and you had to take the showerhead down and hold it by hand, which was quite inconvenient. The owner even gave us two loaves of bread when we checked out; thank you!

We drove all the way from Ulanqab, and as we planned to visit Lvshuiliang the next day, we searched for nearby options and booked this guesthouse. It's a traditional rural-style courtyard, very clean and well-maintained. There weren't many other guests, and the room amenities were quite comprehensive.

AAnonymous UserNot worth the value. ESP, if you don’t plan to travel with your own car. Lack of amenities, food, and transportation. Hotel was unable to find a transport for us that left us stranded, we had to find our own way out as it was located within the National park -private area . Food was supposed to be pre-ordered, we tried to add some extra dishes more than 5 hours before dinner, still cannot be arranged for. They arranged a private dining area for our family, however did not clean up from previous guests, there were storage of old chairs and tissue paper lying around. Hotel has no other facilities apart from the room itself and the cafe. No pool, spa/sauna or facilitators Overall the room and view was nice, but it can be accessible without the stay.
