Everyone says Xuexiang is a rip-off, but high prices are a characteristic of scenic areas, so come prepared. This accommodation is definitely not a miss; the pictures perfectly match reality. You can tell the owner put a lot of effort into the decoration, and even small details are well done. The people we met were also very enthusiastic. The only minor suggestions I have are that the soundproofing is a bit poor – the flushing sound from upstairs is quite loud – and for breakfast, could you please not put cilantro in the cold dishes? I really don't like cilantro, hahaha! All in all, I'm really satisfied!

I chose the Wanda Realm Qiqihar, expecting a five-star experience. My reasons for picking a 5-star hotel are usually for a rich breakfast, excellent service, and complete facilities. However, this stay left me very disappointed.
First, there was no space in the hotel's ground parking lot. A staff member directed me to the underground parking, explaining that hotel guests could get free parking if the front desk handled it. When I checked in, I mentioned I'd parked underground and asked them to sort it out. The two girls at the front desk said the underground parking was paid. I explained that there was no space above ground and the security guard told me to park in underground section M, assuring me that hotel guests could park for free. They exchanged glances and then said they would 'apply' for free parking for me. This already put me off – if I hadn't pressed the issue, would I have been tricked into paying for parking?
After checking in, I went to my room. I had booked a family room, but when I entered, I only saw one large bed. I had to go back downstairs to the front desk. They explained that they didn't know how old my children were, so they hadn't made up the extra bed, and then sent someone to do it.
The next day at breakfast, the whole rhythm of the restaurant's service felt off. Many serving dishes were empty, but it took a long time for food to be refilled. The watermelon platter was almost empty when I arrived, and they only brought out a fresh plate when I was nearly finished eating. All in all, it was a very disappointing stay. I won't be choosing Wanda Hotels again in the future.

A must-stay when you come to Xuegu! The wooden decor truly captures the Northeastern charm, and the excellent soundproofing ensures a peaceful night's sleep. The staff are incredibly responsive to every request, sharing travel tips and even helping to book activities like snowmobiling and snow tubing. The entire experience was fantastic – I'll definitely be back!

This was my first time in Harbin, and I was really touched by the warmth of the locals. The hotel staff were incredibly kind and attentive, making my stay far better than expected. The breakfast had a great variety of options, and the service was very detailed. The room itself was clean and comfortable. It's super convenient to get around; the Shangzhi Avenue subway station is just a few minutes' walk to the right, and Central Street is about a 20-minute walk away. Getting to places like Sun Island is also easy with good public transport links nearby. This hotel is perfect for both business and leisure travelers. Definitely worth another visit!

I would say that our stay was very good. I loved the bed as it was very large and comfortable. The comforter was also extremely cozy and comfortable. The host was so nice and friendly, she treated us like a mother would treat her son, taking care of us perfectly. She was very motherly, and I felt like I was living with family. The only downside was that the hot water pressure in the room was a bit low and the water wasn’t very hot. Overall, almost perfect! Highly recommended to stay in Hongbo Inn.
The renovation had a slight odor, but the facilities were top-notch, definitely the best in Mohe City. The front desk staff were also nice. However, the English names for the lobby bar and nursery room on all the floor signs were wrong. The lobby bar should be ”Lobby Bar,” and the nursery room should be ”Nursing room.” Why didn't anyone in the entire hotel notice this? From the Marketing Department to the Engineering Department, and even the Room Devision, everyone should pay more attention to the details of information.

The owner and his wife were very helpful and showed us great places to play games. The owner gave us rice that he grew himself and also packed some nuts for us to take home. Although they don’t speak English, they communicated with us through WeChat and understood that we are Muslim, so they kindly prepared boiled eggs and soy milk for our breakfast. We really appreciate their kindness. The bed was comfortable, and the view around the hotel is amazing. Malaysian travelers, you should definitely come here for a wonderful experience!
I found a highly-rated B&B online and showed a video to my son. He immediately fell in love with the Ice Age theme. Before check-in, the staff at '7 Fen Tian' called me to get my contact details and sent me detailed check-in instructions, which was very thoughtful ❤️. I initially thought B&Bs were usually hard to find, often hidden within a residential complex. Following the navigation, I was surprised to find that this B&B was in a tall building right on a main street, with plenty of parking downstairs 🅿️, which was very convenient.
After checking in, our whole family was amazed. The moment we stepped out of the elevator on the 24th floor, we were pleasantly surprised. The lobby floor was gleaming, and there were two lifelike, iconic animal statues in the elevator area: a rabbit and a fox, which reminded my husband and me of a favorite animated movie from when we first met. The front desk staff helped us check in and then escorted us directly to our room. The entire room was smart-controlled, and they provided disposable bath towels, bathtub liners, and other thoughtful amenities. Every detail was meticulously handled. The room was clean and tidy; my husband, who is a germaphobe, even said the cleanliness was comparable to a star-rated hotel. With three large beds, our family of five settled in comfortably. Our son immediately started playing with the slide, ball pit, and game console. He refused to leave for dinner, insisting on staying in the room to play… Overall, the experience was fantastic, and our family of five highly recommends it. '7 Fen Tian' will definitely be our base whenever we visit Harbin in the future. Finally, a special thank you to the front desk staff at '7 Fen Tian'. I left my watch in the room, and before I even realized it, the front desk had already messaged me on WeChat to let me know I’d left something behind. Such honesty and integrity, thumbs up! 👍🏻

The hotel's location is excellent. It's not far from the airport shuttle bus stop, about a 10-minute walk. Wanda Plaza is right next door, offering plenty of shopping and dining options. I recall there being Harbin's only golf course directly opposite the hotel, which has now been converted into an open park, attracting many people for exercise and leisure.
My first stay at a Sofitel was when our company held a conference in Harbin, and our branch office booked it as the conference hotel. Due to the conference, I didn't get much of a chance to form a strong impression.
This time, 11 years later, I had the opportunity to return. You can definitely see the passage of time reflected in the hotel rooms and facilities. However, thanks to the hotel's excellent routine maintenance, these signs of age actually highlight the enduring quality of the Sofitel brand. As an Accor member, this was my sixth Sofitel experience, having previously stayed at those in Shanghai, Beijing, Shenyang, Chengdu, and Xining.
Check-in and check-out were both very fast. This stay, my room was also upgraded for free to a 'Smart Breathing Room,' which was great. Knowing my room didn't include breakfast, the front desk specifically mentioned the hotel's 'add 1 RMB for breakfast' promotion when I checked in. The customer service manager contacted me beforehand to ask about my room preferences and made arrangements in advance. The humidifier in the room was a nice touch; winter nights in Harbin can be quite cold, and running the air conditioning can make it very dry, so a humidifier made it much more comfortable.
Due to work, I was in and out quickly and didn't get a chance to experience the hotel's breakfast. I hope to make up for this small regret next time.
If I had to mention any downsides, based on my experience:
1. The TV channels – there were no international channels like HBO or Phoenix TV.
2. Perhaps because the equipment is older, there were no USB ports or wireless charging facilities by the bed, unlike newer hotels, to charge mobile devices.
Overall, the hotel's location is good, the staff are service-oriented, and its downtown location makes it very convenient for business trips. I would consider staying here again.

I booked this room because I saw good reviews. First of all, the advantages are that the room is clean, the sheets should be new, and I don't use the towels, they are all my own. The disadvantage is that there is no free mineral water in the hotel room after a tiring day. You need to scan the QR code to pay for the mobile phone charger. There is hot water for two nights in the rain. The sound insulation of the room is very poor. The sound from the next door at night is crazy. It is not possible at all. Have a good rest, and when you want to wash up the next morning, the water supply in this building is cut off. This is unheard of, and if you are alone on a business trip or doing errands, you can just make do with it. Can you bear it if you take care of the elderly and children? If you are traveling, I suggest you stay in other regular hotels instead of apartments. There are many B&Bs in this building, and the guests staying here are mixed.

SStacy SohAfter taking 5 hours Journey on a 40 seater public bus that cost me 100 yuan i arrived at a beautiful homestay run by family, the homestay is the 1st at the entrance of the village.
Room is comfortable with huge bed and heated bed and floor, eventhou the bed is just a thin mattress (its call a Kang Bed) but i still can sleep soundly every night. Only things need to change is the toilet because our toilet bowl is right at the center so i cant shower or use the basin (no space to stand)😀
They provide toothbrush and disposable face towel only so you have to bring your own towel and toiletries.
Restaurant, reception counter and living room are together, this is a place for the owner and all guests to have meal and gathering. You will see them all day at the living room. We also have some activities such as making tanghulu (fruits coated with syrup), making dumpling and just chit chat eating popcorn and frozen persimmon and pear.
Food is so yummy, no need to eat outside because you can order from this homestay. Breakfast is free. Its a simple and healthy- plain porridge, bun and pickles. The northern people are not so much into sugary or fancy drinks, even like tea or coffees. plain hot water is what they had most of the time.
Lunch and dinner you can choose from their menu.
Few activities you can do in town such as walk around town and enjoy the beautiful scenery like what i did, i also took the sleight horse (200 yuan) to go to the national forest and also stroll along the river for sightseeing. If u want to have ski, snow mobile, tubing there are 2 private own mini park that you can go just by walking distance 5-15 minutes. There is a bigger park Rime Ridge, also known as Wu Song Ling, is a place in Harbin, China where you can see rime and snow scenery, and participate in winter activities this will cost 400 yuan. At night there will be campfire and singing at the village. You can join for free. Go for a walk at night to see lots of villagers selling foods by the road side. I also enjoyed experimenting the ‘boiling water thrown into the sky’ ..beautiful effect from the ice steam.
Most important please bring extra cash incase the alipay not working you will still have money. There is no bank or atm machine in the village. Its all solely depending on online payment such as allipay/wechat. I have problem with my alipay payment and I didn’t bring much cash so i cant spend so much at the village. The homestay owner knew about my problem so she worry i dont have enough money to eat so she cook meals for me FREE.. such a nice person. God bless her 🙏🏼
I wish to come again with my family, and i will stay here
Mmaomao2001002This hotel is a haven for motorcycle travelers, and I could tell the owner would be enthusiastic, which he was! The guesthouse is about 300 meters from the northernmost post office, the bus station, and the village center. The room was very clean, and the young owner was incredibly welcoming. Our train arrived in Mohe after 6 AM, and we were in Beiji Village by 8:30 AM. The owner promptly arranged our room and even specifically provided us with two breakfasts. Plus, the restaurant was exceptionally clean, and the small pickled vegetables were delicious. I'm very satisfied and will definitely recommend it to friends.
GGuest UserThis trip was great. Thanks to Brother Xiaodong for taking me to many places and introducing special features to me. Going here feels like going home and my mood instantly healed. After eating dumplings, frozen pears and jelly persimmons, Brother Xiaodong was worried about whether I was cold or not and prepared them for me. The big cotton-padded jacket is really considerate
GGuest UserThe stay here is superb! The couples who manage this family hotel are very welcoming. They even cooked our meals and dined with us. It's like we are a family. I love the experience and I definitely will come again here!

MM885781****My girlfriend and I had a really enjoyable trip. The room was spotlessly clean, and the hotel staff were exceptionally warm and welcoming. They went out of their way to assist us with our luggage and even gave us some fantastic recommendations for local restaurants. We truly felt the amazing hospitality of the people from Northeast China. Overall, it was a great experience, and we'll definitely be recommending it to our friends.

SSamuel TokVery comfortable and cosy place. Don't be put off by what you see from the outside. It is after all China. But inside is very clean, tidy. Noise insulation is good so you don't really hear the outside noises.
The transport options here are very good. Buses just outside the apartment or across the street go to most everywhere we needed to go.
Food vendors set up in the evening just across the street. In the day, some food options in the shops or the next street down, also quite tasty and inexpensive. Local alcohol is sold across the street, cheap and good. But be careful, the alcohol content is high and easy to drink too much!
There are some shops conveniently in the next block. I got my water in 5.5 litre bottles from here only 10 RMB. Trust me, you don't want to carry litres of water too far. You're on holiday, not training to be a farmer in rural China, right?
Property owner/ manager is very friendly and helpful. You can request pick up or drop off from the airport. We asked him to drop us on departure and it was most helpful because we had lots of luggage.

GGuest UserHere's a revised version of your review:
We are from Malaysia, and we coincidentally found this hotel after we failed to book a train to Harbin City. Fortunately, we found hard seating available to Harbinxi, which led to our journey here.
The family room in this hostel is very spacious, and the private bathroom is large with solid concrete walls, unlike many budget hostels that use tempered glass partitions.
The location is convenient, just a 9-minute walk to the station and several large shopping centers. To access other popular areas, you can take the subway for just 4 Yuan per person per trip.
This hostel is run by a couple who are very nice and helpful. We felt very welcomed; the lady owner, Mdm Wong, even told us, ”If you get bullied by anyone in Harbin, call me. I will protect you.” 😀 Lastly, there's a gray cat in the hostel that our kids loved. She enjoys being petted a lot.
The only thing I would like to mention is that some hidden areas, like under the bed and curtains, are dusty. I hope the owner can address this.

GGuest UserWe stayed in a cozy family room with snow view, and experienced the Northeastern people's firewood pit, which was very warm. The boss and his family were equally warm, with warm and thoughtful service, and they responded to all requests. The room was very clean, and the towels and bath towels were all disposable items, which solved all the travel concerns of tourists who love cleanliness. In addition, the yard of this post station is very large, with a lot of snow, and there are many snow molds, snow rings, snowboards, etc. for playing in the snow. Let our family, who saw the snow for the first time, fulfill all their obsession with snow! Don't miss the Snow Valley when you come to Harbin to see the snow and play in the snow, and don't miss the Niuhe Post Station when you come to the Snow Valley. The following pictures are the real scenes of us playing in the yard of the Niuhe Post Station
