We just spent time at the homestay, playing snow at the yard (which is next to the homestay), and walking around. We also had our meals at the homestay, which is very convenient and save travel time. The trip to Wu Song Ling which recommended by the hosts was very good too. Highly recommended.

So I searched for an alternative and after booking, the boss got in contact with me and helped me arranged transport to pick me up from airport to his place. It was a scenic drive and the driver was great and very helpful. We were hungry and he stopped by for us to grab some food before heading to the guesthouse. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the super friendly and hospitable host. The room is neat and tidy, comfortable bed with a heater that i realised by chance. Although we arrived late in Mar and most of the places, the snow has melted, but magically there are some really nice snow scenery for photo taking. There is a really lovely river just infront of the guesthouse, where the view is really enchanting. The food served by the lady host is super delicious but it came it really huge portion that we felt bad not able to finish. We have small stomach to begin with. The next day, the boss drove us into the mountain to see some really nice snow, at least knee height. Really beautiful and along the way, we saw cows. Stopped again for photo taking. It was an enjoyable and unforgettable experience. The stay, the food the hospitality is top notch! This has been the highlight of our trip and would come here for another stay when we make another trip back to harbin.

Instead we were provided with single use towel which is the size of hand towel for shower. I requested for the bigger towel but was told that each room is only provided 1. Could smell people smoking at the common corridor. No mineral water provided and have to request from reception counter. Hot water is also upon request. No kettle in the room. Breakfast provided was plain porridge with hard boil egg, pickled vegetables and a hard bun. Room was on level 2 and had to lug the luggage up, no one to help.
