"This is a very nice resort. The interior is very clean and large. Bed is comfortable and toilet is good with jacuzzi. You will see kangaroos and cockatoos outside the cottage in the morning and evening. My kids enjoy the stay very much. However you need to either cook your own meals or drive out to eat. The drive is about 15 mins."

"Even though the breakfast was limited and you can choose only one dish stilI we enjoyed the breakfast at this place. The location was great, the room was spacious, and they even have a partnership with the “Yering Station” within the same compound. This means you can enjoy free wine tastings!"

"^_^, three consecutive nights in Australia to experience completely different local characteristics, following the car hotel, after a hundred years of house, this store is completely rustic style, authentic county style. Staying on Friday, downstairs is a restaurant and Bar, I feel that all the people around are gathered here. The pizza and fish and chips in the store are not bad, and the food around them must not catch up. The only problem is that it is very noisy and noisy. At night, there will be people playing guitar and singing in the restaurant under the floor. Everyone is dancing and invites us to dance together. In fact, if you want to integrate into the local life, you may wish to have a few drinks with them in the afternoon and have fun together. To be honest, I didn't feel too noisy, but I thought it was quite interesting. Hotel facilities can't be talked about, but if you definitely live in Yarra and don't want to stay in a winery or resort's upscale hotel, this may be the only option. I remember the name of the location, Yarra Glen."

"Balgownie Estate Yarra Valley is a lovely place to stay, surrounded by a beautiful vineyard. There’s a walking path that leads up to a scenic viewpoint, offering a stunning view of the vineyard, and you can even see cows up close if you are lucky. The room was cozy and comfortable, making for a relaxing stay. However, the air conditioning unit was a bit of a downside—it was blowing out dust and positioned right above the bed, which wasn’t ideal. A little more maintenance on that would improve the experience. The hotel eventually helped us to change to a new room which did not have any problem. Overall, it’s a great place for a peaceful getaway in the Yarra Valley, with gorgeous scenery and a tranquil atmosphere."

"Location: Can be tricky to find the first time as you need to turn onto Cyril Street. Look across the road for the white building with red writing. Check-in: easy and fast. The man on reception is friendly and organised, just a lovely receptionist. There is a bond of $200; be organised and you’ll save your time and the receptionist’s time. You can pay the bond in cash. Parking: great, BUT there are some permanents living there and so you might want to park away from them… you will see immediately where you should not park :) clean parking area. Seemed organised. Room: very clean, comfortable. There are no knives, forks or plates, but there is a kettle and a microwave. Teas coffees, etc. six milk pods, so maybe bring milk if you need more. Really make sure that you close the door properly or it will seem shut, but not actually be shut and will open :) Good curtains in the room that block out the light from outside. I noticed a fair amount of security cameras outside on the walkway, which was reassuring. Fantastic showers with plenty of hot water and good water pressure. The bed is firm, but I liked it. Would or wouldn’t stay again? Unfortunately, no, not while they are acting as ‘crisis accommodation’. The staff and room were great, but there are some undesirables living there who kept us awake all night. Not exaggerating when I say, did not sleep AT ALL. We were up and down to check on the car - the permanents were screaming, fighting - some real Jerry Springer stuff. I was upstairs and the people next to me had a dog that barked all night, in addition to the couple screaming at each other :/ Downstairs, fighting, screaming constantly. it sounded like something got broken downstairs. A guy on a motorbike kept coming and going, visiting the permanents downstairs and talking super loudly, then more yelling and fighting after he tore off on his bike. I didn’t feel safe; I expected the car to get damaged. I realise those people’s behaviour is not the motel’s fault, but I was so tired the next day that I got a migraine and yeah, still fending it off now, day after. Not impressed with those feral permanents. It’s a shame because the staff and rooms are great"

"The rooms were spacious and the beds very comfortable. Had dinner at Bella on Saturday night, which was a real treat. It was a set menu, which meant we tried different meals than we would normally. All were great. The buffet breakfast had plenty of variety and the cinnamon donuts were scrumptious. All in all, a fantastic weekend"

"Stayed in a 1 bedroom apartment which was huge, plenty of space for young kids to play, even has a private small backyard! Very few motels with this. Great location for our needs on this trip. We expected it to be noisy being on the main road but it was not at all, very quiet for a peaceful sleep. Beds were comfortable. We needed a couple of extra things on arrival which were no trouble at all for the hosts. Well equipped full kitchen, big 6 seater dining table was great for a family of 5. Good sized nice bathroom, although the shower and grout was in need of a good spring clean with visible soap scum and parts of shower base slippery with soap scum. Carpet needs a steam clean, there were a few visible stains and the kids bare feet got very dirty quickly. Overall the unit was very clean despite these thinga. Definitely recommend for families (so much space!) and we would stay again."

"Having a wonderful time at De’Vine Escape! The room was clean, the place was serene, the staff and check in were easy. There is also a jacuzzi bath in the room. To top it off, the view in the vicinity was spectacular! Well-worth traveling the additional distance from the shops. Absolutely loved it!"
