"the service from staff was excellent. facilities great. we had breakfast verry good. food on site a bit expensive i thought we got takeaways' think les is moor. Chips £5.50 10ins pizza £14.95 personally i think a little steep. beers £7.50 could be about £5.90 just my opinion. "I was nervous about staying here because of a lot of negative reviews. They couldn't be further from the truth. The staff were very welcoming when we arrived the lobby /entrance was very clean with plenty of hand sanitising points. The room itself was very comfortable, clean warm and spacious with great shower and tea and coffee making facilities. The breakfast room was a fully stocked kitchen with do it yourself breakfast consisting of fruit, a choice of breads yoghurt cereals muffins croissants tea and coffee. It was very quiet considering its right on the main shopping street very near the castle and theatre with loads of eating and drinking establishments on the doorstep. We had a very comfortable stay and will most definitely be visiting again."
